    I love this. It's the way forward for those who can't afford a house these days. I'd live mobile like this full time with no quibbles.

      @@rbstorms LOL On a double-decker, too! The background doesn't look like London, though. Can't imagine how pricey shipping charges run on that purchase! But a 2 story RV would be absolutely amazing assuming it can clear underpasses.

    It seems that I took the time machine back to Taiwan in the 1990s. The former tour bus in Taiwan also created a similar car body. It reminds me of the scene when I was taking a tour bus with my family to eat a wedding party in northern Taiwan.

    In an alternative life I would have one of these vehicles and my dogs, my music, my books, my drawings and my cooking and just be out there on our own. Definitely no other human interaction if at all possible..? Good to see a RHD too as Onrust's is LHD.

    Love your work! I really have been thinking about converting a double decker bus into a motorhome, but I've never known the ceiling height... That concerns me since I'm fairly tall, as is my family. Have you had any issues with ceiling height?

    • @bluecollar58
      @bluecollar58 5 лет назад

      Jody Smith , I was thinking the same thing.
      The legal height restriction is 13’ 6” in the U.S. so you can’t get much more than six feet and with no storage underneath.
      But I wonder if anybody has ever opened up a double decker and made a single floor with high ceilings ?

      Not easy to get a good 1. Remember they are at end of life for the transport industry so will always come with issues needing resolved before conversion, that said it can be done. Google is your friend as is ebay and facebook - coach trader pages) there are a few out there. Good luck, it's all worth it in the end.

    Really top notch craftsmanship dude cept that alleged bath tub? Put in a stand up enclosed shower for cripes sake man. Who wants a short shower death trap like that under their feet. Other than that it is a big little doll baby..

    • @NeoplanVoyager
      @NeoplanVoyager  6 лет назад +2

      The bath is for our 3 year old daughter who does not like a shower. It is also 8mm glass fibre vacuum construction thus not a 'death trap'

    • @thekingsilverado9004
      @thekingsilverado9004 6 лет назад +1

      I beg to differ on the death trap our unit had a similar set up and I mean if it suits your uses it's for your uses. Europeans typically are not as large bodied as us Americans I can say that factually from my tours overseas. I am 6'1X 210lbs so I fit few places to begin with. I was stating the conjecture for my view not from your uses. I tore our unit out and put in a shower with a really neat folding seat. It added the touch I wanted and it wasn't made for the grand kids it's because I aged after 8 tours of duty I got a few boo boos and need the extra room.

    • @donkmeister
      @donkmeister 6 лет назад +2

      "typically not as large bodied"... just to jump in with some stats according to Google...
      Average US male height - 5'10
      Average European male height - 5'10... it's almost as if the average American has European DNA ;-)
      Without any pride whatsoever in my excessive girth, I'd say that my 6'3" 270lb frame, boo boos and all (come on dude, it's tacky to talk about that), would fit into that tub for an occasional bath, regardless of what the skinny short-ass above says.
      Looks good to me, nice work Neoplan Voyager!

    • @thekingsilverado9004
      @thekingsilverado9004 6 лет назад +2

      I'm not trying to strip Europe of it's pride or your awesome work dude... Americans here in the Mountains are larger and I was curious about that one of those little tubs you put in....That's all. I was't trying to insult one top notch job and I mean really you did a fabulous job with that thing.... Just because my big ass doesn't fit in you Bodiaire' doesn't mean it does not work 4 you... The build like I said is awe stuck. Not some run of the mill garbage... And the tub has it's use... Don't compare my height and weight to European. I guarantee my body mass is a bit more beyond the commie stats... American gators are typically less body mass and size than an Aussie gator... Pound 4 pound the American gator will eat ya... Somethin like that anyway...
