  • Red Canyon The Forgotten Geologic Wonderland of Central Utah
Join me to explore the amazing geology of the often missed and forgotten National Forest park in southwestern Utah, red canyon. I will take you to the visitor center and around the park on a hike to view some of the amazing scenery and discuss the geologic story of this area of the Colorado Plateau.

It is a great place and one people don’t generally visit. Thanks for the comment and watching.

The Red Canyon Visitor Center and interpretive trail looks like a pretty cool place for a quick geology stop. I just added it to my ever growing list of places to see in Utah!

Definitely a must visit place. I did not make it, but there is some neat history here as well. They have an old rangers cabin you can visit from the early 1900s.
