    Oil is a naturally occuring substance created deep inside the earths crust and moves to the surface with the help of fault lines. There isn't any fossils involved, it's all bull💩 created by Rockefeller

    • @earthandtime5817
      @earthandtime5817 День назад

      Oil is the result of dead microorganisms and/or plant material that has undergone intense pressures and temperatures. It is very well studied by the oil and gas industries, which is no surprise. It is naturally occurring. That is correct and sometimes faults help, but not always. Capillary pressure is probably the more common way to move oil and gas in the subsurface.

    When I visited the Natural History Museum in La Plata, Argentina a few years the statues on either side were sabertooth tigers instead of lions. It was really cool. And Argentina has lots of Pleistocene mammals, including most genera of Glyptodons, probably one of my favorite Xenarthran lineages. Incidentally, sabertooths belong to the extinct subfamily Machairodontinae: a whole subfamily distinct from the Pantherinae (extant cats). I consume a lot of Pleistocene literature, which is nice break from my entomological research I usually read/publish. Cool stuff.

    I'll definitely be checking this museum out. I read Battle n the Bay by Edward Cotham and that is making me want to visit. I want to visit the gravesite of Edward Lea in Galveston. His father, Albert, threatened to disown him if he fought for the Union, and upon the Second Battle of Galveston, Albert watched as the Harriet Lane was captured knowing his son was on it, and found him dying of his wounds. Albert immediately embraced his son and went to find supplies. When a Chaplain asked him if he could do anything, Edward responded, "It's okay, my father is here." When Albert arrived his son had died. Union and Confederate forces held a joint funeral in his, and everyone else who had died honor.
