Koromaru is great, but a fully kitted out Mitsuru is the queen of DPS. Combination of Ice Boost (learns naturally), Ice Amp (accessory), and Magic Ability (her ultimate weapon) gives her 100% bonus ice damage. So a Concentrated Diamond Dust will hit like an absolute truck.

I love how each time he says it, it's a different recording. They could have easily just done one good recording and used it over and over, but instead they re-recorded it each time, and it sounds amazing. Sometimes he says it slower, sometimes it's said faster
I feel like he was much easier here than he was in the original. But then again, I was just praying on nornal. Also, there's something else I literally just noticed. The dark hour isn't present during this fight in the original, but in here, they fixed that. I never noticed it until now. That's so interesting.
I found Aleks through Luke in SF and I fell in love with his performance. Then I got here tonight and heard his voice and I WAS IMMEDITLY FLOORED by how good he was. Then the back of my mind envisioned Luke in a recording booth saying these lines. My brain is werid.
I would've liked to see him end the fight using The World Arcana before triggering the cutscene. That way having the mc counter using The Universe would've felt more impactful to me imo, but this whole fight was still great to go through.

Honestly, I like the old version a bit more. Both the voice and the script. The old Nyx sounds so scary with the broken voice, really feels like an abnormal being. The script is also a bit more shorter and hit harder.
tbh, idk how i feel about the new voice for nyx. I feel like the OG English version had a more threatening feeling but the new voice just feels like what would be used in a sequence where a character is in a middle of a transformation rather than the transformation itself
The new dub is closer to the Japanese version. In Japanese Nyx Avatar doesn't sound demonic at all, his voice is just Ryoji with an echo effect. He's not meant to be threatening, he's meant to be sad, the fight was more about death as an inevitability rather than death as a thing to be feared.
This would almost be just as good if not the lack of inflection in certain lines like the original had. It just gave it that extra bit of oomph Eh… Same can be said for the remix of the Battle Hymn of the Soul here. Not bad, but lacking something

My end game build and team will be Orpheus max stats with Brave Blade, Vorpal Blade, Agidyne, Maragidyne, Repel Elec, Null Dark, Charge, and Concentrate. My endgame team will be Junpei, Ken, and Koromaru.
Generally you want multiple persona. A starter with tri auto. A buffer. Usually with heat riser and concentrate/charge, a phys attacker. A magic attacker. Rule of thumb for 'builds' in persona is you give a persona a specific 'job'. Kinda defeats the purpose of the wild card if you try and build a jack of all trades. It will be literally impossible to beat the ultimate adversary without at least 4 personas with max stats and no weakness. That boss as specific 'rules' that must be followed. Or you eat a OHKO attack. Unblockable too.
I like the new version a lot more. Why the hell would you want a distorted version that ruins the VA's performance? Any cheap voice changer can do that.
According to persona Q, Koromaru doesn't have evolved persona, because his persona has already evolved. He is old dog. And this is reflected in p3r, he has 2 theurgy abilities from the beginning.

I was already annoyed with the lack of an eldritch-like filter for VA's voice. But the new translation for Fortune Arcana took the cake and ran with it. Between ""Alongside time exists fate, the bearer of cruelty" and "Ever-present along time is fortune, cruel and unflinching." which one feels like google translate and which one emulates prophesy-like vibes? That is right! The new arcana quotes feel like somebody fed them through google translate and nobody checked if they flow correctly before they were sent to VAs. One thing is certain: death awaits all." feels like a fan translation when put next to "Beyond the beaten path lies the absolute end. It matters not who you are... Death awaits you." 😭
They probably didn't want zio to absolutely decimate the team I had Makoto,yukari, mitsiru and aegis but when nyx switched to Hermit I was getting absolutely cooked
I'm not digging this mew voice for nyx, way too human, o prefer the more old,robotic and almost monotonic voice, because when he does "sound" humans in certain lines, it hits harder.

Honestly, I like the old version a bit more. Both the voice and the script. The old Nyx sounds so scary with the broken voice, really feels like an abnormal being. The script is also a bit more shorter and hit harder.

tbh, idk how i feel about the new voice for nyx. I feel like the OG English version had a more threatening feeling but the new voice just feels like what would be used in a sequence where a character is in a middle of a transformation rather than the transformation itself
The new dub is closer to the Japanese version. In Japanese Nyx Avatar doesn't sound demonic at all, his voice is just Ryoji with an echo effect. He's not meant to be threatening, he's meant to be sad, the fight was more about death as an inevitability rather than death as a thing to be feared.

I like the OG voice of Nyx avatar because of how otherworldly it sounds than the new one. Like OG Sephiroth vs New Sephiroth

My end game build and team will be Orpheus max stats with Brave Blade, Vorpal Blade, Agidyne, Maragidyne, Repel Elec, Null Dark, Charge, and Concentrate. My endgame team will be Junpei, Ken, and Koromaru.
Generally you want multiple persona. A starter with tri auto. A buffer. Usually with heat riser and concentrate/charge, a phys attacker. A magic attacker.
Rule of thumb for 'builds' in persona is you give a persona a specific 'job'. Kinda defeats the purpose of the wild card if you try and build a jack of all trades. It will be literally impossible to beat the ultimate adversary without at least 4 personas with max stats and no weakness. That boss as specific 'rules' that must be followed. Or you eat a OHKO attack. Unblockable too.

According to persona Q, Koromaru doesn't have evolved persona, because his persona has already evolved. He is old dog. And this is reflected in p3r, he has 2 theurgy abilities from the beginning.

I was already annoyed with the lack of an eldritch-like filter for VA's voice. But the new translation for Fortune Arcana took the cake and ran with it.
Between ""Alongside time exists fate, the bearer of cruelty" and "Ever-present along time is fortune, cruel and unflinching." which one feels like google translate and which one emulates prophesy-like vibes? That is right! The new arcana quotes feel like somebody fed them through google translate and nobody checked if they flow correctly before they were sent to VAs.
