The Middle East is a hotbed, I'm not sure if you've been warned but supposedly Americans are being warned to be careful traveling.
Americans been warned for many years bout traveling to Middle East countries... so if you go there, ND something happens to you that's on you,
Almaty it's not the capital of Kazakhstan no more, she was the capital of the country until 1997, now the new capital it's Astana very beautiful, it's a political decision strategy for the country, because they didn't want the capital of the country to close to China border, i think your followers people's understand why, Kazakhstan want the capital city the most far from China border, don't forget the Europe continent included Kazakhstan part of Europe, and maybe some in the future years they probably wanted to joined the EU , and i think all your followers people understand why !! Kazakhstan it's a beautiful country and people's in the European continent , hello from Monaco

Because you are American. However, safety is important.
Kuwait has two different standards. The law, and what authorities actually enforce. Those are not the same at all.
Did you get a sramp in your passport when you entered Israel?
No, you get a separate card.
Plus he was stopped for filming. He didn't gave his passport in karge print on his back gahaha
@@GabrielTravelerVideosI am aware but when I entered they asked me why I didn't want a stamp in my PP.
@@Dr.Mzungu Strange, I've never been asked that when entering Israel.
And kuwait, they put handcuffs on me and chain my legs and put me in jail for 2 tonights because I said the F word
Freedom of speech is not absolute - nowhere in the world. There will always be consequences for what you say, public profanity, swearing is punishable by law 😅 you can be penalized for swearing at someone or in public sorry for your experience. Unfortunately there are laws in place. Be thankful they didn't proceed with legal action. 😅
Unpredictable in semi authoritarian to authoritarian states, and who knows who gets triggered and how. The nuances of cultures in mid east are a mystery, would love to visit and learn but not right now.
do you do anything other than walk and talk?
I had my things lined up also in so called "democratic" countries as well. I think they thought I am a journalist or something. Luckily with the 6th mind I left new tripod at home. On a positive note, they had no clue how to operate the camera.
Whilst u r walking and talking on the Video, certainly nothing of note to see in Almaty 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Good desction not to run! You are lucky they didn't take for more introgation. Be safe as the World going into Crises & Injustice!
Where you on Shakedown Street Gabriel?
That area you were talking about, where the Armenians lived. Was given to Azerbaijan by Stalin after the war.
Yea strange goin there
Golden warrior monument
So you talked on a phone and may or may not have deleted some footage...
Every country has locations they won't let you film...
stupid or truthful? i mean if the government deserves to shat on due to their policy then maybe if enough people tell the truth about them they change.
Kuwaitians forgot that Americans saved them from a brutal Saddam’s invasion
Saddam was created by America.
For the sake of petrol of course

Why bring this up at this point in time...are you trying to coerce opinions....
I get the impression that Kuwait is probably not one of your favourite places you have visited 😆
I can't disagree.

The Northmen references you in his latest video...
No need to travel to conflict ridden countries. I am sure your parents must also have given this advice to you Gabriel
LOL he is 50 years old not 15. I'm sure his parents aren't telling him what to do.
@@mickhasthefacts8632 Parents do worry about their child whether he is 15 or 50 and give advice for his well being
No 1!
You don,t want to end up like Bald & Bankrubt banded from Russia and Belarus! Gabriel
You are exonerated for going to Azerbaijan... You have been to Armenia, you know both sides of the story and to be honest, I would be interested to see Baku too.
With everything going on, I would personally get out of that part of the world. No place is really safe, theres parts of the US I wouldnt go to 😮 but you should take a break and go home. Stay safe!
He has left the Middle East and is now in Kazakhstan in Central Asia, in a city just a few hours drive away from China. This is an entirely different part of the world, and much more stable. The distance between the Middle East and Central Asia is like the distance between the Middle East and Europe. Different people, different culture.
Saludos
👍👍👍
👍
😊😊😊❤
Nobody could pay me enough to visit those countries. Human rights do not exist even in "more advanced" places like Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Do them a favour and stay home then.
@@martinc.720 very original. There are plenty of other places to go.
So basically u film a sensitive area they asked u by phone to delete that? love how u changed it turned it into something bad and dangerous topical … 😂 secretly deep inside you know its safer walking in kuwait than in america. i understand u looking for content for views to make some money
Its strictly prohibited gabe there are certain locations, military bases, certain palaces, oil refineries, airports, ain't no first amendment audit thingy in Q8 😅 According to Article 70 of Law No. 37 of 2014, anyone who intentionally offends and defames others by using a device or means of communication or other means to take a picture or more, or a video clip thereof, without his knowledge or consent, or exploited the capabilities of these devices and extracted images from them without his permission, or fabricated a picture contrary to public morals for other people, shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding two years and a fine of no more than KWD 5000 and not less than KWD 500, or one of these two penalties. the emir is not a king, it's a state actually probably the only true constitutional monarchy in the Arab World Emir is Head of the Executive branch actually the first Emir chosen by the people circa 1600's, National Assembly is the Legislative branch Article 6 (Kuwait Constitution)[Democracy] The System of Government in Kuwait shall be democratic, under which sovereignty resides in the people, the source of all powers. Godspeed 🖐️ Safe travels.
First!
Boom, got it.
You need to go to Africa, it’s safe. Stay out of the Middle East at this time.
Kazakhstan is not in the Middle East but in Central Asia and is much safer than the vast majority of countries in Africa, if not all of them!
Im from kuwait dont visit here
Gabe, i wouldn't bother with Arabic countries! Go to New Zealand if you can? don't believe you've been there yet...
I strongly agree. I don’t care if people want to view me as racist. The middle east is a place with a long history of human rights atrocities, and they demand that you follow the rules of their ridiculous religions. I would be in jail in the first hour for supposedly offending these people.
@@sluttyfrogmagicianKazakhstan is not like this though, it's in Central Asia and not more religious than Britain. People really don't take things like religion seriously there, former communist country that borders China. Stalin basically killed religious extremism.
I think Almaty maybe a "marmite" city, love or hate, so far its lacking any character, but said, so sprawling, with brutalist concrete towers, very few points of interest....did look at accommodation prices ...what extremes Carlton Ritz tower £404 a night and majority £25 a night.....maybe the mountains the redeeming feature....look forward to your climbs....
jillytravels My theory is that Kazakhs are traditionally nomadic and cities are a fairly recent development there.
Gabriel go and travel south Korea you gangster
Been there, need to go back and see more: ruclips.net/video/0Y8ep8MK4IY/видео.html
This channel is literally turning into a scam, really low quality content with almost every other vlog a clickbait and catchy headline. I follow and watch this channel like a religion (with two jobs on a side) and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to watch 25/40 mins vlogs nothing more than a random talk (or storm in a tea cup). This vlog of 25 mins isn’t worth 25 seconds and same with previous vlog about taxi scam. Understand you’re pushing for views to fund travel however this is on the expense of loyal viewers which is completely unfair. I could have just unsubscribed however I didn’t because I care and rather not.
I agree, the past three videos were a bit tedious. Back to good old travel content. ✌️
Get to the point quicker, 13 minutes and I’m about to switch off
That's the difference between being place like USA or India versus Middle East and other dictatorial places. Be safe Gabe.
Damn
Vancouver island is your refuge. Gabe doesn’t know it yet. 🧞♂️ ha ha Gabe, you know. If you read this.
