The biggest example of appeal vs PSL I got was when I showed images of Jordan Barret to my female friends, they all agreed that he looked weird, everyone of them liked Chico, however

There are a few problems with the images shown to be evaluated:
-the forward growth pictures don't say much imo because the frontal bone comes forward in an unnatural way, I'm sure that if it was more proportioned women's average preference would have been a higher number
-the second photo in the mid face comparison has a huge forehead, I think that's the reason it looks more unattractive. I think in the editing its original dimension had to be kept.

4:00 clearly not a misconception since the study you showed was tested in China where majority of men can’t produce excess growth of external facial hair or body hair so they’re less prone to date outside of their group and thus don’t like body hair not as a conjecture but as a typical rule of in-group preferences. Try the same exact experiment in places like the Middle East.

99% of naturals won’t look like a pro bodybuilder it takes either elite genetics (you’d know if you have elite genetics because your progression would be much faster and easier within the first 1-2 years of decent programming/methods) or drugs. However I do think it’s possible to build a physique most women won’t find aesthetic as a natural. Look up real naturals like Alpha Destiny (Alex Leonidas), Bald Omni Man, Natural Hypertrophy, Geoffrey Schofield, Basement Bodybuilding. Their physiques generally only appeal to a minority who are into extra jacked guys, usually this will be fit women which is a good thing imo fit women are the most attractive. It’s also not just about muscle vs no muscle or lean vs bear mode, it’s about which muscles you develop and you’re proportions. A big chest with small shoulders/arms isn’t aesthetic. Overdeveloped block abs. Big quads but small glutes/hamstrings (hamstrings are important bc if you have big glutes with small hamstrings it looks off) and calves. Calves are the forearms of the leg no one will look at them and go yeah sexy but it looks better when it’s proportionate. That’s with legs in general most woman don’t think legs are sexy it’s just that it looks weird if you’re an upper body bro with no legs
I asked to some female friends of mine who they think is more attractive and none of them really liked alain delon, Chico lachowski or Damian kater( the ones who I considere the most attractive). They liked more guys like Charles leclrec or Andrew garifeld

I’m 52. 5’10” 195…weak chin, acne scars, average teeth, bigger forehead….on paper I’m a legit sub 5. Right? But I also have a small waist, huge capped shoulders with 17” ripped arms. I kinda have to disagree with the leaning slightly towards feminine being the most attractive I think it’s better to lean slightly more towards the masculine side but not be 100% masculine.
Vast majority of guys are considered unattractive facially including by straight men but an average woman is considered attractive including by straight women. That implies feminine faces are considered better. Conveniently the vast majority of guys have mostly masculine features. Also notice that white men generally are considered to have better faces than black/mixed race men. Black/mixed race have more masculine faces. Reverse of that is black women generally looking more masculine and thus considered less attractive. Skin color may play a bit of a role but most people in the west at least don’t dislike dark skin even if they prefer pale/fair. Especially light brown/tanned
Good example I’ve seen of this in the Anime community is a character named Yoruichi from Bleach. She’s consistently considered among the top 1-2 most attractive characters in the series which is saying something when fans go on about how much they love the female designs in Bleach. She has dark skin but a European centric face
