Clarence Carter

After attending the Alabama School for the Blind and graduating from Alabama State University with a degree in music, Montgomery's Clarence Carter began his professional career with his friend Calvin Scott and they found their way to Rick Hall at Fame. Hits followed & as a solo Clarence soared to top of the R&B & Pop charts. This performance is from his induction ceremony into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in Mobile on January 25, 2003.
