Hi i have a question. Im planning to buy ryzen 1200 from aliexpress and rx 570 in local store but i could pay so less and get an 3400g. Im planning to upgrade the cpu and gpu later. So what should i do?
Limiting the build to 8 GB is a bad idea as of the date of this posting (08/17/2019). With a discrete graphics card most games will not run any faster with more than 8 GB of system memory, but several games don't reach optimum performance with less than 12 GB of system memory, and while a discrete GPU will use less system memory, part of that 8 GB of installed memory has to be allocated to VRAM. As of now, the lowest priced 4 egg DDR4 3200 dual 4 GB kit on Newegg is $50, while the lowest priced 4 egg DDR4 3200 dual 8 GB kit is $66. An extra $16 for 8 GB of memory is well worth it.
Again. The FASTER your ram the less possibility of a stutter. The stutter comes from it trying to constantly draw ram to put up an image. Minimum is 3200Mhz You should get 3600 to 4000MHz.

Can you later add a GPU? And do you know how combining an APU with a GPU works? very curious, thanks
Jeroen van den Raadt Just plug it into the dedicated GPU instead of the motherboard
@@masken8355 yea I guessed that but does it work in a sort of crossfire way or does the Apu only work as a cpu then?
@@jeroenislego no.there were certain APUs AMD made that allows dual usage with a gpu....but that sorta died out and was selective at the best of times
So it's one or the other
Are you able to add minecraft to the benchmark in some of the lower budget builds/cpu/gpu reviews? Love your videos, Cheers!
Is the motherboard an a320 or b350.im a gr9 student and I'm about to build a pc this December
Much better go with b450m for performance dude
I'd love to build a pc around this, but a 99$ processor being sold as a 600R$ part here in Brazil. 1 dolar is 3,90RS in my currency and this is stupid
I feel bad for you. ;(
I have come from the future and 1 dolar is 6,00R$

I’m looking to build a pc with one of these for school and then going to byoc insomnia gaming festival (66, I am on holiday for 65) and would love to add a rx 580 or 1660 so would love to see benchmarks with a 580! Anyway keep up the good work!
fam, that apu is a beast...
So do GPUs just not work for these g processors? I mean since they have integrated graphics comparable to a gt 1030? Will GPUs even work at all?
They do work
I think he just was a bit vague on the wording
Does the 3200G support 4K HDR at 60 Hz via the onboard HDMI Port? (HDMI 2.0b support would be required) Thanks for the answer in advance. :)
To get 40+ frames on this APU should be quite the fete, so don't worry about your slip during your tête-à-tête!
just love watching these vids
I can vouch for the Kolink power supplies! Really great psu's and cheap af.
Kolink is fine, I have a 600 watt psu of them and it works great.
Kolink ain't bad. Overclockers rate kolink highly. I have the 700w version of this in an i5 pc. Tho its actually rated under 700w. Still they are better than the likes of CiT or colourIT.
unbelievable what you can have with only a APU. Back then, without a graphic processing unit, there was almost no way to game at 720p... let alone 1080p
unbelievable? seems totally believable to me
progression of technology and all that lol
@@bluescluessuperagent back then, gamer would have gave there left nut to play 720p. But i get your point lol.
love your vids man!
Hi i have a question. Im planning to buy ryzen 1200 from aliexpress and rx 570 in local store but i could pay so less and get an 3400g. Im planning to upgrade the cpu and gpu later. So what should i do?
Depends , how much you getting the 570 for ?
I can see the apu would do wonders for my itx system
You know you can get the ryzen 5 2600 for £99 in the UK on Amazon if your a student ( a bit weird I know ) but one hell of a deal
need graphics card tho
OK. Why do so what I suggested on Instagram. You’re using a Asus Board!
Wouldn´t an overclock of the iGPU do a big impact on performance?
I'd like to see that - leave the CPU alone, oc the iGPU only. Also, see the difference in frames with 16 GB of RAM. More Ryzen content!
Gigabyte b450m gaming
3200g
Corsair vengeance pro rgb 16gig
Crucial 500 gig m.2
Once I've done some benchmarking I'll share
Area 51. Im goin...gon clap them alien cheeks....horses in the back
Lol your squad mates must hate you in PUBG, being miles away from them wandering around doing nothing lol
can you do a personal rig update soon? I'm really interested in the gear you're using
Did your mobo need a bios update for the apu??
the way you linus tech tipped
Again. The FASTER your ram the less possibility of a stutter. The stutter comes from it trying to constantly draw ram to put up an image. Minimum is 3200Mhz You should get 3600 to 4000MHz.
At this point in time I'd almost always go with a 1tb ssd for around $80-$100 bucks would be a better option than a $30 SSD paired with a $40 1TB HDD.
I think 2200g is great for media consumption. But for the price difference I couldn't understand getting it over the 3400g or even a 2400g would be a better choice IMO.
That case is literally a cit f3 with a sticker on😂 never heard of an eg ar39
hell yea m8 been waiting for this one
It would be nice to see how much money is necessary to get a used mobo/cpu/ram/gpu to edge the 3200g performance, or what can you achieve with the same money spent on the 3200g + mobo and ram if going used!
My god he actually said hard disk drive instead of HDD, My man.....I can actually watch your videos now.
I have the same procesor,it s amazing
Hey,i know this isn’t question about this video,or even on this theme
When i watch youtube video comparisons on different settings, when they disable Anti-Alising it looks same as my Anti-Alising on best quality. But when i put it off,it kills my eyes
Can anybody tell me why it’s so different
So 3200 apu is a bit similar to maxwell on some laptops or 750ti in desktop
I saw an article says the B450 Motherboard needs a BIOS upgrade to use RYZEN 3200G CPU. BUT AMD says the 3200G compatible with B450 motherboard. I'm confused :(
Which one would be better, the Ryzen 3 3200G or the Ryzen 5 2400G, using the exact same setup (mobo, ssd, ram and psu)? I'm currently looking for something that doesn't cost more than 400USD, 1080p monitor included, and this exact setup was one of it.
your typical weeb Ryzen 5 2400g would perform better since it has more stream processors and the cpu is multithreaded.
Can you pair the ryzen 3 2200g with a gtx 660ti is like to see how well that build is before I buy a motherboard that I can actually use my 660ti in.
Do you need to update the bios of ASRock B450M-HDV to work on the Ryzen 3 3200G?
