I just used the Gabri tripod with the ATAS this weekend. I had a mixed result, probably due to the contests and qso parties that were going on

I saw your video on it. Very cool, it’s fun to try different things. Is it an amazing performing antenna sitting on the ground? Heh probably not but it works.

Thanks for introducing me to the G Gabil antenna and tripod! Did a little RUclips research on it and now I'm going to have a new antenna in a couple of days.

awesome! it’s probably my favorite antenna to use for POTA because it’s just the right compromise between performance and convenience. hope you enjoy it! 73, Aaron W4ARB

Thanks for sharing, I'll have to try a live video for at least my debugging. I had a brain injury at age 5 due to a stray backswing of a golf club, so CW had been my thing. However, I was off the air for 20+ years recently and this POTA thing looks like a lot of fun! I was using an AI voice in my videos. I bought a Penntek TR-35 and hope to use it next week in N. IL, we are full-time RVers. Won't leave FL under these tornadoes die out for a couple of days. Cheers es 72, Davely - KU9L PS- My Penntek TR-35 only has a mono audio feed out, so have to use a mono-3/5mm plug ada[ter to my stereo input on my audio recorder. Interesting.

Thank you for watching! POTA is great. I was first licensed in 2001 but inactive since 2003 or so until I found POTA. Setting up in parks and operating is a blast, and hunting the activators from home is also great. I haven’t gotten into contesting and I’m not much of an on air rag chewer so POTA fits perfectly in the middle of those activities. Recording the activation is great too to be able to go back and listen to it, and I’ve been quite surprised how many folks enjoy watching it. I’ve been activating every week since September last year. Hope to get you in the log soon! 72 de W4ARB dit dit

Hello Aaron. You are sharing a great activation. Thank you. I'll be activating K-3503 at around 1800 UTC on 1 April. The morning would be cooler, but the time is not available for tomorrow. I like your key! On your antenna, I had not heard of the GRA-7350T until a couple of days ago, and now I see a few videos on the antenna. I saw PAC-12 and JPC-7 on the web. Have a nice weekend. 73 de David AE4LH

Hi David, thank you for watching! I understand about the weather. I am hoping the storm doesn’t hit us in the morning and I can go out and activate. The GRA-7350T is one of my favorites because it’s super convenient but performs pretty well. I have a JPC version of the PAC-12 too and it’s a solid performer also. I’ll keep an eye out for your activation tomorrow afternoon. 73!

@@w4arb Looks like my park reservation doesn’t begin until 3pm Central. So, I am hoping to be on the air by 3:30pm Central (20:30 UTC). I’m planning on 20m CW QRP.
