I’ve been to NYC many times and was looking for fresh ideas for my most recent trip. This video is packed with great travel tips for NYC and is absolutely worth the watch. We managed to try several of the suggestions and had an amazing time. I'd also recommend renting bikes-New York has done a fantastic job creating safe bike lanes, making it a fun way to explore the city. Great video!
I have to say I love this video coz there were so much hidden gems that were never featured in other NYC tour guides, often you just see the same spots featured over and over again.
I'd definitely recommend not over planning. These recommendations are great but inevitable there aren't in reality going to suit everyone. If you plan something and find it disappointing it's a real downer, sure choose some things, provide some structure, but the joy of travelling is always the unknown.
Hi Johnny and folks. It was all yesterday on Monday. I had a bagel with tofu cream cheese and lox and iced coffee at Thompkins Square Bagels. Then I walked and passed by Russ and Daughters which I've never eaten at. I walked down Mulberry St for the San Gerraro Festival. It was a beautiful day. I did walk through Chinatown. I walked the Brooklyn Bridge and back. I went to the famous Dumbo spot where you can see the ESB underneath the Manhattan Bridge. I walked from lower Manhattan through Union Square, to Midtown. I grabbed a slice of pizza. I ate a bunch of cannolis at the Festival. I walked to Grand Central Station. Maybe, I found the food court. From the station, I went to the base of One Vanderbilt. Thanks for the Street Bites.
This is sooo helpful! And the timing couldn’t be more perfect! I stalked your channel just yesterday looking for something like this! And it’s here today 😍
Couldn’t have come at a better time. Me and my wife are visiting in November for 4 nights and cannot wait! Going to visit a few of the places mentioned in this video. Just need to find a video of yours about watching sports in the city.
The first trip to the USA, from Australia, did 6 nights in New York. It was a blast, but I think I need to plan for another trip. Or 10 😂. There's just so much to see and eat
Lots of really good tips on his videos that I have used on my many trips to the big apple. Only one I’m not a fan of is Tick Tock diner, found it to be massively over hyped. Murray hill dinner was a much better spot for breakfast (personal opinion).
After watching a bunch of your videos, I took my wife to NYC last weekend for 3 days… we covered all the major spots - st.patricks church, trump tower, Central Park, Brooklyn bridge walk, Times Square, Statue of Liberty tour, Wall Street walk, summit at Vanderbilt, tour to the UN HQ and finally taking the tram to Roosevelt island and exploring there using Citi Bike! The trip was amazing and exhausting as well! The bleeker street pizza place had the most amazing nona maria slice!
I’m so proud of you paying off your college fees, that’s a huge relief and financial burden. It’s only akin to paying off a house mortgage ❤❤❤. Love your outfits and social outings, you’re really getting yourself out there. Those fur babies are so much part of your family now, it feel like they’ve been with you forever. Can’t wait til the next ep. ❤❤❤
@@glennstarkey7087I would disagree with that. New York has a wide range of restaurants at all price points. In other cities you are stuck with either fast food or high end dining. I would argue you could eat cheaper and better in NYC than many other cities if you know where to go. I was down in DC at their Wharf and their restaurants were way more expensive than a lot of NYC restaurants
You are amazing! We had an amazing trip back in June with all your tips and recommendations! We love NYC! Ill keep visiting through your videos untill next time ❤
Aside from restaurants which ate way too many rest pretty much all places on my visit lists 😀 Really great list! 👏 If anything maybe add few stores like M&M in Times Square or Century 21 downtown to add more variety 😀
Excellent itinerary Jon, I’ve done most of those things but over a longer time. I was exhausted just watching it, but, I wouldn’t miss any of it. I love this ❤❤❤
Visited NYC for the first time in July. Your videos were extremely helpful for tips on navigating the city and choosing what to do with the limited time we had. Can’t wait to go back!
Man, watching your videos while being out of the country is making me homesick! Been gone a few months, and now I can't wait to get back. You posted this at the perfect time, too. I can send this to family who'll be coming back with me; you've summed up everything I wanted to explain to them 😅
Want to tank you for all your beautiful videos, with plenty of information and useful advices. Built up accordingly a full program of places to see and where to eat and all was worth it. it has been a fantastic experience. We returned home from 10 days and we are still fully excited! Thank you again!
Hi John. I love your Yankees jerseys. Is there a store where i can go and buy one? I went to the Yankee store near TOTR but the selection was poor. Thanks.
Love this:) had a chance to visit New York for the first time ever from August 22nd-26th I’ll never forget it and definitely 2nd that summit gave me the best pictures. Would love to connect with you Here be Barr
I live in Connecticut so your videos also act as a great guide to day trips into NYC for those who live close bye. Bug I have to admit. The NYC subway system is a scary thing to me and it holds me back from exploring the boroughs outside of Manhattan.
Awesome video! Thanks! Can you also do one that’s an itinerary for people who have already done all of the “major” tourist attractions in NYC and want to do more “unique” things that locals or tourists who have already visited a lot might do?
Great video, great channel. Would you change anything for a winter (february) itinerary? Maybe, it could be a good idea to make a video, too. Thank you!
And ill say it again outer boros deserve love even if its just a subway to dinner know you have featured more than anyone else the outer boros so this is more complementary than critical

I really love this! Tick Tock Diner is really good, and seems to never be crowded.
Also, Lawrence is a really good dude. His tours are amazing!
Jon I will make sure that my next trip to NYC is at least a 4 day trip !
