That is one super happy rose for sure. I love roses because they can be so forgiving. They live on trimmed or not as long as they have water, nutritions and proper light, with even just the slightest amount. I say that because I also grow gardenia which is one of the most finickiest plants if not in their native habitat.🥴
Love the Miller time you have there for us, Kim 🥰!

Thank you Kim for the over head pruning video! That helped me so much. It’s hard sometimes watching videos from the side to tell what to cut!

Great video. It is fun to see just how aggressive you can get. I prefer my garden when all is pruned back to a manageable size. Thanks for showing.

Thank you so much, I learned a lot about the care of the rose. I don't know how you are able to do that to all the roses you have. Do you have help?

    Спасибо большое Вам за видео.
Я сняла зимнее укрытие с роз, розы очень пострадали в эту зиму, почернели кусты. Тоже стригу.
    Всего доброго!

i am surprised to see so much Growth on such tiny canes, it appears older than it is! Looking down into it after the initial cut, it has a very symmetrical shape! :) That must be good Breeding! :)

I do admit, I am someone who lets Roses become Monsters! I have "Love" at around 6ft tall, and my "Mr. Lincoln" is about 7ft....I have "Tropicana" nearly 10ft tall...you are right, the blooms mostly are on top, but the bushes themselves add to the Landscape, helping to block views.
I have a Rambler I never trim, and like an Octopus, it is Crazy! I have it on the top of a tiny little mound-like hill...it blooms only once per year, but dramatically!
Thrips for me blow in from the local Farmers who do Onions...a Systemic in the Fertilizer helps!

Hi Kim! I just have a question, what is the height you maintain for your Tranquility, Litchfield Angel, Lady Of Shallot and Scepterd Isle roses in your garden? Do you keep them at 4 ft. height or 5 ft .?Please let me know.
