I wonder if the next game that will come out will force Kryzzp to benchmark a RTX 4070 in 720P low settings
As long as they keep making games solely for console and then trying to port them to PC games are always going to run and look like 💩.
Consoles even though they might be more similar to pcs now than they were before still work differently.
Games for PC have to be more dynamic and scalable. That means for games to work well on PC they likely have to be made on a PC and you'll have to create more tweaked textures (1080p, 1440p and 4k) . Not just one set that you scale up and down. Which it seems these new games do. But I'm not sure.

@@GewelRealyes but compare it to other cards that came out two years ago or even this year. The 580 was a budget card that ran the Witcher 3 at 1080p 60fps at high. Just imagine if this game was actually optimized! 😔

@@GewelReal dude this is starfield even the latest rtx's have trouble running it let alone a 6 yrs old card which definitely have a playable fps and lets not forget this is in a quite the intensive area plus starfield on low doesn't look bad at all so i don't see a problem here

I am under the impression it won't be available for cards this old if that is what you mean.
@@alpsalish In fact, it will be available for older GPUs, but they will not have AMD's frame generation function. So I'm not that hyped as the performance will be very similar to FSR2, maybe the same

Apart from graphics cards though, I'd like to see how this performs (in various specs) with the use of a non SSD hard drive.
There are videos on hdds, damn does the game take long to load lol. Stutters too, but I don't think thats unexpected either though.
I found the best way to stress test Starfield in Atlantis City; just swipe the mouse really fast or keep rotating the camera round and round with your right thumbstick. The FPS dropped to 40s in my 4070 💀
Games nowadays are horribly optimized, I think even the RX 580 8GB should run this game at least medium 60fps

This looks pretty good all things considered, you should see Starfield on my laptop’s integrated graphics, terrible is an understatement.
A way to fix the blurry texture is to pu indrect lighting to medium it fix texturing issues without a significant impact on the performance and will solve the blurriness a bunch *edit* for people playing on low only
btw I think you can use FSR2 just for sharpening at 100% resolution instead of CAS, and it'll probably look better, although it'll probably run a couple percent slower
Yeah since it runs a bit worse I choose to use CAS instead
Theres a mission in the UC / Crimson Fleet story line where you have to board Huan Daiyu's ship in New Atlantis. The room in her ship that has boxes in it is the most graphically intense spot in the whole game. It forces my 4090 run at its full 3050 mhz overclock and uses 98% of the card to reach 60 fps at native 4k. Only area in the game that does that so far. The card reached 360 watts.
I am playing with a RX 580. It was crashing until. I upgraded to 32gb of ram. I am playing at 4k at 12 fps but it looks good. Didn't know about msi afterburner. Thank you for showing that. I increased my performance by 25% like you did.

I just finished my budget build with the China rx 580 8gb 2048sp paired with Ryzen 5 2600 on a 1tb m.2 ssd drive with 16 gb of ram. Can't wait to see how badly Starfield runs on that!

I got that exact build i jsut finished to resell, but its a sapphire rx 580 nitro+ .
2048 SP is just on the border of being unplayable. It is 10-15% slower than regular 580, and in this game it cannot get to the magical 30 FPS unless you use render scale of 50% , or 720p . Some people tend to overclock it, but I would not do that since these are all ex-mining cards that do not have much life left in them in the first place.
Thats the update im sure and with DLSS that will come like Bethesda said it would make the game to a good game performance given....
1080P, 50 percent resolution scale, and the lowest settings
2022: 1080p Medium 60 FPS card
2023: 720p Low 30 FPS card

Not too bad for something that's only got (on paper) 2/3rds of the power of the game's minimum requirements.
At all low with that one lighting setting at medium FSR "Quality" equivalent and locked to 30 fps, it should be quite playable. Not ideal, obviously, but I'd certainly have fun, even if fights in the streets of the main cities would be quite iffy.
580 may be down but it anit out the game just yet. I am disappointed at how bad this game is optimized. I hope in the next few weeks, they use a team just working on optimization. This video open up the game for so many gamers that would like to play this title. Thank hope to see more videos like this. Also have questions around frs3 and proton for us Linux users

Just played it on RX 570
One year ago, the RX 580 and GTX 1060 were able to play games at 1080p Medium with 60 FPS. Now they can only do 720p30. Let the slide in.

believe it or not guys, GTX 1660 super is cheaper than rx 580 8gb most of the times in the used market in my country. Here, there's a lot of video cards died (when it comes to pricing) like gtx 1060 (3gb and 6gb) , 1650, 1050ti, rx 570 too i think
When I say died it means you pay extra 20 or 30 dinars and get like around 15 fps more when buying the 1660 super
Even GTX 1660 ti used to sell for 600 dinars in the fb market place but seems like people now realized how prices are going super low and even the 1660 ti sells for 350 dinars too! I've seen 1660 super selling for 300 even! (bought mine for 350 a month ago, still a very good deal for me)
But hey I still come and watch benchmarks for 580 out of curiosity 🤣
If you turn on VRS it fixes low indirect lighting.
surprisingly good for a gpu that is significantly below the minimum requirement of 1070 Ti
probably has to do with the fact that the consoles use an equivalent gpu

i have a 3750k andr580, i turned it to high with no fsr and it ran at 40 fps in a key lock station . in ultra it was running a playable a 25 fps , but with both instances the game crashes to desktop. turned it to medium crSHED TO DESKTOP. in low it did not crash .im gonna try putting in my 3770 non k and more ram

1080p 30fps is kind of alright for this game, considering you are going to see framerates exceeding 30fps in most scenes, the showcase scenes is one of the heaviest in the entire game. Consoles are running at 30fps too, so you will have an experience better than on console mostly.
consoles do offer a better experience here considering the visual settings used especially on the series x

30 fps is fine on budget gpu but on mid end gpu or above like 3060 , rx 6600xt it is unacceptable

Before 2023 game hardware requirement increased way slower than on 2022 - 2023

Hi, Can you do a comparision with RX580 to lets say the RX 7600 to see how much AMD has improved? or the RX6600? That would be helpful since I own a Rx580 and want to upgrade to a RX600 or similar GPU.
I recently upgraded from a XFX RX580 8GB to a Powercolour RX6600 8GB and it's a great leap for 1080p gaming. I can up settings in games like Shadow of Tomb raider to very high/ultra and even gain fps. Was getting 60fps on high and a few settings tweaked medium and now 96fps+.
Can play The last of Us of part 1 were I couldn't with the 580, same with Dead Space Remake now I can play but still need to use FSR for that but can play quality and get 58-65fps with that.
And power usage is even lower barely touched 110w the 580 was using 150+ watt under load
And I think you get this game free still till end of September

Trick is to put your pc in ultimate power mode I can run it at 100% res on 3080 with a few settings turned down on my 8gb card

I wont hold my breath for optimisation. Bethesda don't have a good record in this regard. We can expect several DLC, a Game of the Year Edition, in around 2029 a Special Edition and around 2033 an Anniversary Edition. But they still won't be optimised and will still carry bugs. Unofficial patches might solve some of the issues...

Gpu AIB memory training you have to run software to force a full availability ram test I use gpu mem test and set it to 4GB 8gb 12gb then watch your usage until you have 99% of the memory allocated and in use give it 5min then reset the pc , GAME
As tough as this game is to run, it has nothing on the Hitman Argentina level with RT Reflections (just rt reflections) on lol. I have a 4080 and a 12700k. At 1440p with DLSS quality i still have spots where i drop below 60

@@CersionX The game is currently CPU bound on the XSX, so it's not like they can just lower the resolution. 40FPS would be likely, but 60FPS is going to need lots of work.
The cpu is strong, it should be able to do 60fps
@@CersionX look at digital foundry review where they uses the 4800S cpus, which is a reused XSX CPU. The games engine can't run 60fps on that CPU in its current state.
