    I am 55 years old, I had a 88 CRXsi in my 20's. As years passed by, I have owned 94 Euro BMW M3, 97 Porsche 993, 2005 Corvette. I have to be honest, the CRXsi was the most fun car of them all. I miss that car the most. It did everything. Thanks for sharing you video. Guard that CRX with you life.

      @@diversedad7954 how much did you ended up selling yours for? Of course, don't feel pressured to answer - I'm just curious. I've looked at one where I live and guy asks about $8000 for it, but it's original vehicle with 300.000 km on the engine. Just maintained (no custom work was done on it except paint and maybe few minor things).

      @@diversedad7954 Thanks! That honestly seems as a good deal for a car like that. In the end heart does not have a price and you've put a lot of it in that vehicle. Thanks again and all the best to you and yours.

      @@betrion7 yeah I had a couple offers that were even higher and I could have made a little more money on it but the guy I sold it to only lives 2 hrs from me and I can still keep in touch and visit the car. Now I'm excited about the next chapter. Just built my dream shop and have a 66 c10 short bed truck I'm working on. Something totally different!

    Years ago I had an 91 Crx Si with a ZC swap. I loved that car and used to race it here in the socal area at the time. Well in one month it was stolen twice most likely from the kids I used to race on the weekends. I felt I had to sell it before it gets stolen again.....I regretted that from day one. About 15 years later my father in law asked me if I wanted his 91 Crx Si because he knew to this day I miss that car (of course I said yes to the car!). I will never sell (or Race! i'm too old for that) that car and now I will teach my kids how to drive on that car! My happiness from the Crx is through the roof! Those cars are special! Only the people who have owned one knows what I am talking about. Beautiful ride!

Best thing is just don't give someone the opportunity and make it a little harder to steal and most lazy thieves won't take the time to mess with it.

    @crxdelsolsir 4 года назад +4

    6:15 Appreciation is the key to being happy with the CRX and keeping it long.
    Once you start to compare to new cars you WILL become unhappy
    Power wise you want to Turbo,
    Traction loss you want to 4wd
    Then you want gadgets = You stay unhappy
    Once the molestation starts you introduce problems and you follow the demise of so many CRX

      Yeah I've always liked the simplicity of this car with the b16 swap and how it's just era correct. It was very fast for its time and every build has a purpose. This was just to be a very clean, quick enough to have fun driver. It's been an awesome journey but I'm selling it very soon to move onto a new project I've already purchased. Time for something completely different! 1966 c10 short bed bagged and ls swapped! It's just a rolling shell right now. Lots of years of work to go on this one!
