Thanks man. I owned the car for 14yrs and I got to enjoy it finished for 6yrs. Working on a new project now and finishing up my dream shop. 2 things to enjoy with my family. Things change and I miss it but really excited about the future.
Actually this video was from a year ago. It's been gone a year now and I've still got a few more videos of it to come out. I had it for 14yrs and it was time to move onto new exciting things! I keep in close touch with the new owner and have already visited once and plan to visit more.
Man i hope you didn't sell the Rex. This video reminds me of the first time my daughter of similar age got to ride in the front seat of my Rex. We did a daddy daughter road trip from Phoenix to LA to visit family. The noises, rawness, and freedom in the Rex are something newer cars can never duplicate.
I did sell it unfortunately. It was just time. I have since built my dream shop and I'm building a 66 c10 with an ls swap on bags. We still have something cool and classic to make memories in! I just need to get my butt in gear and get this truck built!
Melts my heart. This was very nice - hard to say who was more exited, you or him :D He definitely loves the shifting though. Here in Croatia, manuals are pretty much default.
Beautiful video! Its touching to see your son being able to experience this car, Oh the smiles! Frankly I wished my father kept half of the cars he used to own.... Quite a few really nice ones back then! It would be a joy to be able to experience those cars today. Glad you were able to give your son this priceless moment :)

Unfortunately I have more goals than I do money. I have a 66 c10 I want to build and it will be a project I plan to involve the family with and also we just built a shop that will very much be a family space. I always loved the car but always had to choose between it and the family. Now I am doing a build we can all enjoy together and a space we can spend time together. I'd love to keep it but that's not an option.

Why are you selling it?! He probably would have loved if you passed it on. Ive made this mistake with a lot of my cars and wished I never sold them.

The car is gone now but they were 205/50/15s. Was the perfect size and especially back when I had nitto neo gens. My favorite tires!

Kids come with a lot of sacrifice but times like this make it all worth it. Sad the car is gone now but so excited for new things coming!
