I just bought a 2006 PM260z with the hydraulic deck, I got it for 400 bucks because they thought it had a bad engine ( it was just a bad choke cable, lol) and it needed the right wheel pump so I have like 1500 bucks into it with 700 hours on the clock and it is perfect.

I mean, honestly, it would probably be not much more if any more expensive to just rebuild your engine, depending on what is wrong with it or find another good engine out of the same exact van to swap into yours. Would be so much simpler and easier to just put back in the same engine that came out of it. By the time you buy everything else you need to put a different engine in it. I don’t think you would be saving yourself any money and would be way more headache. This engine I found for our van had only 74,000 miles on it and came out of a direct one. we have been driving for several years now and just drove it all the way from Missouri to Florida for vacation a few weeks ago and it has been great. I think I only paid about $1300 for this engine and it was a direct swap obviously went ahead and did a new timing, water pump, and all that stuff while it was out. Unless you are wanting to build something cool for a specific reason at the end of the day it’s just a minivan. I would say keep it simple for yourself.

Yes 40x50. It’s actually not all one pad. They poured the porch as a separate pad and sloped it out, but you are correct. It’s taking me a long time, but I’m trying to finish editing the video where I go over all the details of the bill, including costs of everything. Hopefully in the next couple weeks at least I will have that video out if that is something you are interested in. It will likely be at least a 20 minute long video, but I will also have an easy breakdown of total price you can skip to if you don’t want to listen to all the details. Also, if you look at one of my more recent videos about my red truck, you will see the inside of the shop. Looks nothing like it did in this video. Much has changed.

It’s funny because I’m from California and I too left my headlights on yesterday and the battery died at Walgreens. I was calling my son to come and gave me a “jump start”, however, a nice guy by the name of Matt helped me get it going, the “old school” way. He pushed it, as I held onto the front of the car, pushing it too and jumped in it, popped the clutch and it started right up. Not too bad for a gal, who will be 61 next week.

It was just standard b series shift linkage and the shifter knob in the car was from a da Integra I believe. It was in the car years ago when I bought it. I switched out to an aftermarket one that looked nicer but went back to the oem Integra one cause I just liked the feel and more of an oem look.

I know the feeling lol. I just saw a super nice clean completely stock del Sol in a really nice neighborhood the other day which made me really happy to see in a neighborhood full of super fancy new cars lol. I definitely like the CRX platform better but the Dell sol is pretty cool and just about as hard to find as a clean CRX these days. Especially the VTEC model.

You’re right. I went against all my better judgement because I couldn’t find what I wanted locally and let my emotions take over. I knew better and screwed up. Just sharing mistakes so others don’t make the sane. Ended up finding a pretty much brand new 2017 mid sized unit with only 150hrs on it. Had it for a year and it’s been flawless.

No I sold it 2 yrs ago after I bought my 66 c10 to build and wanted to build my shop. It’s about 2hrs from me in good hands. I do miss it.

My 08 700 xp meter quit and man they’re high $$. So I unplugged my big connection on where it hooks to the harness. I had like 3 to 4 pins ate up looked like corrosion. So I made some jumper wires passed the plug and bam back to working. Good luck shopping.
