- In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 1999 Buick LeSabre. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
I love my 1995 for sure! Over 225k miles, and she still runs like a top. When the time comes, I'll see if I can pick up one of these with lower miles- unless I find a final generation Riviera.
These are some of the best cars ever built!

Great video! Im geting a 94 lesabre in a month for my first car ever, it only has 58500 miles on it, I keep watching videos learning what I can about it, im so excited I love it already

I have a 98' model lesabre, the interior in my car is blue. I love the hell outta those buicks.
reliable? repairs?
The placement of the headlights and parking lights control on this vehicle I think is very unique. I've never seen them on the door, except on cars like this. 5 star video, and awesome job like always.
How muçh,. Price location
I've got the '99 LeSabre Custom with the Dynaride system and it rides so beautifully.
I have the 99 custom also. So smooth. Love it!!

Me Too! Mine is Blue! Rides Sooo Smooth
@@tednguyen2034 Very Reliable
Hey saabkyle04 i would like to thankyou for all these great videos! I may not live close enough to buy any of the vehicles you are advertising but you have given me a better view of the Buicks they really are great cars and i purchased a 98 lesaber i love the car very much comfortable and very nice ride my wife not so much she thinks its grandmas but theres always some things us guys know whats better lol thanks again and keep them coming!
2005 L. Limited 229, mi near mint and power, no mechanical issues, full with tires and struts, and Alignment. Leather, h. Seats, cassette cd, dual cli., Traction control fulltime off switch, dual air bag, 3800 , white no rust.
I bought one of these. A 1992 custom with 85,000 original miles for 700. I didn't pass this one up. I'll be picking it up tomorrow!
I know it's been 3 years, but how is that car? Do you still have it? I'm looking to get myself Buick from 90's as well but wondering how reliable they are..
They're very reliable cars. the GM 3.8 in these Buicks is virtually bulletproof and will go over 200,000 miles easily. GM made them forever so it's easy and inexpensive to find parts. My father had one that still ran well with 237,000 miles when he sold it.
Bump. Bet it’s still running perfect.
I concur! I had a 1992 Park Avenue that I bought with 213,000 miles and it still ran perfect.
I just picked up a 95 with 87xxx original did the ICM coils plugs wires cam crank and o2 sensors $600(edit: it only needed the ignition control module and one coil pack but i figured it might as well nip any future issues in the bud)
Man, that car has everything! It's fit for me. I like the design, the seats are what they should be like, it has stickshift. I think it's stupid with floor shift on an automatic car.
I love that car!
My 99 has the cloth seating, power everything, full gauge cluster!! So it may not be a big full-size luxury car, but it drives like one: smooth ride, quiet 3.8 motor!! No complaints
Buicks are badass man ,99's could be up to date more old 80's door handles , should be more digital inside and some do not have leather but other then those small problems its a good car ,very comfortable and rides real smooth feels like you are floating on air
I want one so bad, that car is beautiful.
I got one if you want it.,it’s just taking up space
I just bought one of these yesterday, except my interior is blue. You can't kill 'em! 152k on it when I drove it off the lot, I'll easily get another hundred out of it
That cluster is the standard one from 1997-1999 ; mine is the optional one from 1996-1999
Wow clean Buick! Love the red interior!!!
Burgundy.
I drive a 94 and I know everything about the 99 even though I have never been in one. Nothing changed haha good job GM...
That car is in super condition and I love the white with a burgundy interior combination. I think the 'Limited' model has a few more goodies than the 'Custom'.
What kind of mpg do these 3.8's get realistically?? Im a gm guy and these are rad looking cars man. I dig
It's weird how they went from the door handles which were open on both sides to the ones integrated into the door that would only be grabbed from the bottom, and now we're back at the door handles that are open on both sides. That's kinda a confusing description huh?
LeSabres are great cars. I got a '95 with 100 000 miles on it. Drives like new. I like the pre-facelift LeSabres more, they look more classic.
😍😍😍 what a beauty
I have a 2000 Buick lesabre it now has 54000 miles on it it rides like a lazyboy recliner on wheels and it has the bullproof 3.8 v6 I absolutely love my buick
reliable? repairs?
Lol at 1:02, damn key!
Great vid as always!
I was just on autotrader and saw you guys sold it Finally
I’ve got a 1999 lesabre limited edition, 69000 miles!!
@TheCoolMardigan I completely agree with you. I have a back injury from the military and I am looking to get one of these due to their comfort and smooth ride. Big, beautiful, and American!
Never selling my 1998 Buick LeSabre Limited 175k on the dash still rides like new
reliable? repairs?
@@tednguyen2034 to be 25 years old not too many out the way repairs
@@shuggashort8963
Keep the car well maintained. At some point consider getting it stripped down and getting it powered powder coated no reason it could not go for 20 more years. When you have it rebuilt it would be like a new car again. It would be worth putting $20000 into it.
Very nice car! Chevy 4 life😍😍🥰❤️😍❤️
Beautiful car.
my 1994 buick lesabre has a V8 ;) love that power giddy-up
i love this car
good video
What an awesome way to kick off the video!! I just ROFL'ed so hard
Best bang for the buck. Not my kind of car but looks real comfy.
Great review. What are the holes in the dash near the climate control for? I noticed it on your review of the 2004 LeSabre too. These aren't auto climate units are they?
They may be present on all models, neither this or the 04 has the automatic. The Lesabre Custom had manual AC, the Lesabre Limited (and Park Avenue) had Automatic climate control
Got my dads, same car 1998 and 92,000 km mint condition.
joe cote congrats keep it man, those cars are sleepers. hey I know cause I had a red one.
Nice car
This is probably the last car with the boxy gagues of the 70’s and 80’s.
The 92-99 LeSabres look like the 91-96 Park Avenue but less features in it.
cool car Kyle, looks like my olds :)
My dog fell off the bed and took out my pop. Had to pause this half way through to clean it up ..
Hamilton Dashcammer 😥
Love those grip door handles. Wish they never went to the flat ones
Also tell me this, I just looked at the sales numbers for each year this body style was sold and every year from 92 all the way to 99, Buick sold more than 120,000+ each year, how do you explain that
A lot of fleet and rental sales maybe?
I got a 97 lesabre blue with blue interior I love it
reliable? repairs?
Reliable just be sure to get one with a good transmission I find even with low km on older cars you need to make sure the transmission is good too
You should make a video of a '00-'05 lesabre if you ever have access to one.
I wanna get one just like that
i never been fond of the front windows is this body style but teh interior looks comfy, just wish the dash was little more dated? for 1999, that dash looks like a 80s
the transmission on the 1992-1999 Buick LeSabre
Transmission
4-speed 4T60-E automatic
4-speed 4T65-E automatic
These guys aren't much for looks, *but* they are damn fine cars. Comfortable, smooth, reliable with a strong motor. All of you might think of it as 'grandpa's car' but it has some power. Further, they're quite comfortable. Not quite a caddy, though.
The seats looked to be in very good condition!
my great grandmother had one of these the same color
man i would love to get some of those white wall tires for my 94' Lesabre, anyone know where i could get some?
Is there a dodge dakota that u can look at?
Are you sure this is a '99 Lesabre, my '99 LE has a newer dash layout ?
The engine was once listed in Wards as one of the 10 best. It's a very good breather and
it goes far on a tank of gas, I average 24-26 mpg.
The car year of this is not 1999 its 1995-1996
This is a 1995 lesabre
Joe Dollinter this car uses 18.5 gallons of fuel
But that's too much gas!
Still available?
What's that stick behind the turn-signal selector?
tilt
I think it's the tilt steering.
Cars aren't built like this anymore, these things were made to last.
well Yea cause modern cars are made to break down so you spend more money.
Derek Williams um not at all they are way safer and reliable than they were even 10 years ago
anyone know where i can get a set of these white walls tires for my 1994 buick lesabre custom?
He was just referring to the fact that you missed the key hole on the first shot! lol
whats the tool song at 5:40?
firestone tire stores, i have uniroyal whitewalls on my 99 lesabre got them a local tire store
my grandfather had that car :P
How so, I've had mine for almost 5 yrs and it hasn't caught fire yet!! 99 btw
Huh, the interior is more different than I expected from my 98 model year.
What colour was yours
My 98 lights are on top of the dash, leather interior too!!
@@tristanmathesonsinventory2443 I think the factory name for the color was Midnight Blue.
@@shuggashort8963 Mine had leather as well! Honestly, I don't know if mine was equipped with a ton of optional packages or what (it was my first car those 8 years ago that I posted, sadly rusted too far in 2019 with these salty Midwestern roads), but all of the instruments, upholstery, etc. were much nicer than in this 99.
This is oversized? its quite small really. I didn't know it was supposed to be a full size car. If you want to see something stupidly oversized look at a 76 Cadillac fleetwood or Lincoln Continental. The difference between those and a crown vic is bigger than the difference between a lesabre and crown vic.
Custom - 🙄
Limited - 😎
2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004. 💣
Power Seats! The controls are on the door!
thats back when GM made good seats not POS they have now :squint:
These cars are ticking time BOMB. Prone to catch fire.
@integraz32lover my lesabre is a 98 too. it has 74000 miles.
this car is very similar to the park avenue
How much?
@integraz32lover Yup just keep ricin' it up :). You've never had the pleasure of driving a 3800?
bizarre.. its clearly a 99 from the exterior, but i've never seen that dash layout on a post 96...
Lucas Henry maybe they switched it out
Two dash layouts. One with the tach, and the oil/temp/fuel gauges (like in the video) and the base model with the old style sweep speedometer and fuel gauge (no oil/temp).
Can you turbocharge it?
Has a cast iron block
@integraz32lover my lesabre is a 98 too. but it has 74000 miles
Really, do tell!! Why don't you say that a little louder, I don't think I heard you!! I drive one and I don't see anything wrong about it, yeah I've had a few problems here and there, nothing major but those 3.8's do not die if you take care of them
My alternater is charging, but my battery is going dead.third one.
Where cà,how. Much
cant believe its a 1999 model, looks outdated to be a 1999.only the stereo looks like it can be from 1999.
@datboiwes3 I know, that's why I hate it, and also the door handles! SO 1980! Haha! No offence Kyle!
МАШИНА КРАСИВАЯ РУЧКИ НА ДВЕРЯХ САЛОН ЦВЕТ И ДИЗАЙН МАШИНЫ
Old good American cars.
My 2017 Ford Fusion electronic brakes went out at 50 k miles and is a piece of sh-t just dumped it and bought a 1999 Buick with 59k miles and no more computer sh-t to fix the new cars suck azz and never will buy a new car again!
There is electronics in those old cars but tend to be solid components and simple microcontroller chips. Solid state electronics that are simple and do a basic job never break down.
5 dislikers drive those damn Electric Cars
same starting sound as the grand prix
The way he is pushing buttons and turning knobs upsets me. Baby those small components because you may have just shaved all the life out of them. They are fragile and this car is old!! Be careful please! Lol
When the video was made it was a 10 year old car. Not that old.
Hey a baby Park Avenue
'99 ??? Looks more like '70s.
You not know over 1999 Buick LeSabre. 70 really??? 😏😏
@@lesterrojas2656 Yes, really. It looks like car from late 70s or early 80s. Cars like this are reason why U.S. car industry collapsed.
ehhh nope @5:12
Park Avenue > LeSabre
as
Mines way better
This is that buick lesabre is the shit one with no leather seats tackometer or power seats, very disapponinting buick made a dumb down cheap version of the real buick luxury full size car
That cannot be a 99 more like 94-97.
it is a 1999 it did not get a redesign until 2000 I have both model 99 and 04 both have the limited trim package
Yeah, 94-97
Do not like the plum colored interior
Way nicer than modern obsession with black interiors.
Horrible car
Your german nazi mother is horrible
Sure. That's why they run forever. If you are ignorant don't type.
Nice car
