I think you guys should have a television show (without commercials.) I would rather watch a show/video about gardening than anything else on television. I saw the length of this video and thought this will be my perfect wind-down show tonight. Truly enjoyed it, thanks for sharing.
Watching you guys work, your stopping the planting to lend a hand with the pavers, troubleshooting the steps together, this is the sort of real life landscaping and gardening that I love watching.
I love how they both collaborate on whether it is pavers or where the plants should be positioned . That is true partnership! ❤️🇨🇦Stunning patio and stairs !
Can we just talk for a second about how you always have the cutest tops?! I want to shop where you're shopping. Also, that patio looks fabulous. All that work will be so worth it when you get to use and enjoy that space for years to come!
Love a man that knows how to use his hands to create a beautiful project. And I can look at Jerry’s backside all day 😆! So cute with a kiss and your very own ninjas!
Not a true gardener unless you have two different colored garden gloves. No matter how many I buy or what I do. I can never seem to have a matching pair. Thought it was only me. 😂 ❤️ 🧤 Thank you for the information always helpful.
I always get a hole in the same fingertip of my right hand. I have short fingers, so it can’t be stretching too much! Any way, I’ve got lots of left handed gloves - “I MIGHT be able to use them”… My kids are going to be scratching their heads when they go through my stuff after I’m gone. 😬
I love you guys and watch everyday BUT for the last 7 days you have been one of the most important part of my day. I am in the hospital and your show has helped me not miss my garden so much. Thank you so much. Great grandma Gardener from Whidbey Island WA.
Hi Jenny and Jerry, you both have done a fantastic job on the patio, it looks amazing great work a credit to you both. I think Jerry needs a beer 🍺 after all the days work thanks for sharing. cheers to all 👍😊💖
I could watch you both all day, and Jerry is just a master craftsman. The white petunias and other white annuals will look beautiful at dusk too while you’re all sitting at your firepit. Your daughter looked just like you standing with her hands on her hips 🤣 lovely video Jenny.
It’s exciting seeing the finishing touches on your patio project! I can’t wait to see all your plant choices growing together in a few weeks! Loved seeing the kids saber-fighting in the background while you finished your tasks for the day.
Just watched this amazing video and could not believe Jerry was building the patio himself. I have handled those pavers myself and they are “heavy” but he made it look easy!! I know this is an old video but you two are incredible🥰 Everything is just beautiful! Thank you! Helen
The patio is amazing and Jerry and you are amazing for having done it all. You guys work so well as a team and isn't that what marriage is all about? The flower beds are going to be amazing too. I learn so much from you every day. I am learning all about plants I have never heard of before and am glad I am. It's way to early for us to plant outside yet, (Chicago). I need to transplant a couple of rose bushes and split up some lilies so I have to wait until mid April to do that. Can't wait! The flowers are going to be so pretty. I am imagining what it will all look like....beautiful! Hugs!
Love how you guys are "real" you show the "real" side of home projects---when things work and when you have to do it again! Love your channel:) Beautiful area (a little jealous at the moment).
I am new to your video's. I am watching your older ones. Your hubie does great work. I really love watching y'all work together. Thanks for shareing your life with me. I am from North Carolina.
Oh my gosh Jenny, your man has the patience of a saint, mine would have been snarling and cussing by now. I think if I also had the task of putting down those pavers I also would have been snarling by now.💚🙃 I don’t think we would have ever attempted putting down a stone patio, 💚🙃
@@GardeningwithCreekside That's too funny! My guy is patient, very patient, but once it's exhausted... best to step away 🤣 n leave him be for a little while🤭
A very large and wide trellis on the blank wall would be beautiful there and have some scattered clematis growing up. With the roses and annuals, it will be beautiful. The little adds of color are awesome. Jerry is doing a great job. Woo hoo! Go Jerry! Loved the video. I’m excited it’s coming to life. God bless. 👏🏻💕👏🏻
It’s coming together and looking awesome! 👏🏻. Love your “day in a life of” video. Especially loved the kiddos in the background having a light saber battle 😂😂⚔️
Your patio is coming along so nicely, looking so good. Love the white petunias they just shine. Such a long day, I know you guys are whooped. I did like watching the leveling process, now I know I haven't been doing mine correctly. Leave some things to the professionals.
Oh my goodness, this is soooooooo beautiful. Wow, I can’t wait to see what it looks like in a year or two when the patio is completed and plants become more established.
Aw, Jerry loves Jenny. 💏 I love these DITL videos. It's amazing the growth on those boxes you planted a week or two ago. I potted 5 bubblegum plants in bigger pots while they wait for my tulip show to end. I'm still on the lookout for some Silverberry petunias to plant in my hydrangea garden in back, but if I can't find them (I've been to 5 garden centers multiple times looking for all the PW plants on my wish list since winter) I will plant the white petunias...if only I can remember which store had them. I'm still looking for 'Wicked Witch' coleus and 'Rockin Back to the Fuchsia' salvia. (I'm in Minneapolis.) How exciting to see buds on your David Austin BR roses already! Mine are due to arrive in about a week. I still have to prepare the site for them. I picked up 4 bags of garden soil. Last year, I hauled 40 bags of soil to create a berm, but there was some settling over winter. Seeing Jerry work on the patio was helpful. This year, I intend to lift some pavers in my patio to level them. When our streets were torn up about 12 years ago, I opted to have my concrete driveway replaced at a greatly discounted price. But they had to remove some of my pavers to place the forms and now those pavers dip down creating a trip point. Also, I'd like to replace the locking sand with the polymer sand that should prevent weeds from growing between the pavers. So many projects. Jenny, my knees hurt watching you kneeling to plant. I'm 64 and the knees are shot. Well, off to the store to get more Plant-tone. That stuff is fantastic! I think I figured out a way to extend my peony blooms. Succession fertilizing. I ran out of Plant-tone after only placing some on half the plant and now that side has taller stems. Haha! Can you grow peonies in your zone? That's my favorite flower. I have ten plants, but I always want more. Our cool spring has helped keep them happy. Last year got hot so quickly and they bloomed and the show was over in days.
The pavers look great! I know the hard work that goes into all that (the doing and re-doing), I've done all the rock work on our place through the years.(Walkways, patios, steps, raised beds, with another one planned for this year, our fire pit area.) Rock work didn't seem an impossible DIY to me, for when my Dad built his house, as teenagers we all had to pitch in and help. The flowers are going to be glorious!
It’s looking beautiful! Hard work but very rewarding, great place for the family to congregate. He likes to pick at you, he knew you wanted to do your planting yourself...haha Love your choice of plantings.😁
Jenny first I love your different color gloves, lol I do the same thing sometimes. And your husband has done a beautiful job. And your plantings are gonna look awesome. I’m curious about the pink flamingos 🦩
My initial reaction was, pink flamingos? What kind of shenanigans did Christine do now? And then I remembered the pink ‘Flamingo’ plants!!! 🤦🏻♀️. I think it’s time I go to bed 😂
A great way to start my day with a good cup of coffee. Loved seeing the kids playing in the background. So I’ll be seeing you soon! Bringing another friend to the nursery this morning. 🌸🌺🌸
Jenny...this area is so beautiful. All of your raised planters look great. I hope to visit your garden center someday. Love your channel and thanks for sharing with us!
Great video as always. My question is how do you remember when to fertilize when to prune when you have so many different plants? Second how do you control weeds? I’m just starting a garden and I’m loving it. Thank you for all of the tips.
That lean in for a kiss from Jerry! I love how love is displayed amongst the hard work. Many blessings everyone! 💚
Great Job, Jerry and Jenny you two did amazing
