I am very impressed...with your patience with each other, with your perseverance, vision, and with how it’s all coming together. Inspirational! Can’t wait to see the finished product!
You really remind me of my husband and I. You work great together. We built our home 26 yrs ago nail by nail 😁still standing. Now we are gardening together. I really like your RUclips channel. Thank you for sharing.
The husband and I driving 🚎 💨 back to NC from Austin, TX & I’m enjoying binge watching this weeks video’s while the hubs is driving. Keeping me inspired, entertained, & motivated to get in the garden as soon as we get 🏡 home 🥰
The two of you are the hardest working pair on RUclips! Physical work all day at your daytime jobs. Then you take on this massive do it yourself project in your down time... wow! Impressive! Thank you for taking us along in your journey! ❤🇨🇦
Jenny and Jerry, you sure got a lot accomplished in a couple of days besides putting in a full day at the nursery! 🔨 💪 Very impressive, and the patio area is looking beautiful! I love how well you two work together, and you're setting a great example for your kids.~Margie
Wow, you two are a dynamic duo! Your work ethic is impeccable, and it is bound to have lifelong positive effect on your children. Major kudos to you both. I just adore your channel and everything you do. You've sold me on Proven Winners!! It's a good thing you aren't closer to Houston, Texas because I would live at your nursery! Thank you, Jenny and Jerry, for sharing your love for the Lord, your sweet family, and for gardening with your many RUclips fans! 💚💚 Linda
WOW!!! It looks amazing, lots and lots of hard work from both of you. Love to see the team work:) I’m sure you can’t to see it done, as all of us watching, Thanks for sharing your “life” with us. 🌺🌸🌼🌺
Y'all are so great together 😊!!! I love my husband dearly, but if we try to do projects together it is a constant battle!!! It is so sweet to watch Y'all work together ❤!!! Jenny I just love your husband, he's a gorgeous hunk of man!!!
You probably couldn't hear me, but I was telling you to go with another pallet of stone. 😁 I was pleased when you decided to go that route. You will not regret it. Less weeds. (Trust me, I have personal experience and regrets.) Plus, the extra time allows you to make any adjustments or move the stones in the most pleasing way. I always like seeing a large stone at the start/end of a path. I am liking what I see. Compliments to Christine on the editing. Sped up in just the right spots.
Really appreciate seeing the what the effort is on a project like this and the real world situation of running out of materials- makes me feel better that it’s not just me! Looking great. By the way, received my order and promptly planted. Excited to see how the caladiums do.
It's coming together! That unique stone container in the driveway (I'm assuming beside garage door) is beautiful, I couldn't stop staring at it! Amazing how 1 plant in the right container can make such an impact!
So excited to here y'all will get more flagstone - from the camera angle it looked a little stretched, especially in this ladies view for my short leg length and it is bringing such excitement for y'all. Jerry is an extremely amiable man, I was laughing at your comment to move this one to the arbor, . . . oh turn it over :) Lovely couple humor. Y'all are a testament to watch and learn from. Thanks for sharing this project with us. Oh and that comment about being country folk, nothing pretentious - I appreciate that too, y'all keep the project realistic to all of us other 'country folk'.
Looking good! No DIY is ever easy but worth it. My Dad would say you hammer like a woodpecker. lol When we built our house he was constantly saying that to me (He could seat a nail in two strikes with a hammer, of course it's not the same as hammering into rocky ground). Thanks for sharing!
Oh wow absolutely gorgeous 🥰 I am so looking forward to seeing this project completely done so you can all enjoy it and laugh about it all in the end, it’s going to be so beautiful and rewarding for you all for many years and generations to come xx 🪴🌺🪴
I'm in TX ya'll and I like a natural looking landscape too. When we dug our flowerbed we found same color rocks as your Flagstone. We set them into our flowerbed for a little extra umph. Looking great over there!
Your project is looking fantastic. I love the colors of all the stone and the arch on the path. It's going to be spectacular when finished. I can't wait to see your first BBQ on it!
Y'all just amaze me! You accomplish so much in a short time! I really enjoy seeing you work together. It is truly a blessing that I just know you both appreciate!
What a great gathering place this will be for your friends and family. If I were one of your daughters I would be planning my wedding reception for this spot(I know they are a bit too young yet).
I had to stop and do errands and just finished watching the entire video. You and Jerry are always amazing me with your patience and how much you accomplish together. Everything looks beautiful, can’t wait to see the finished product! ❤️🌼🌻🌸
We installed a flagstone walkway just as you are doing 16 years ago. We used plastic edging with long pins. Our edging started rising out of the ground, and was catching on the mower, etc. We just finished removing it. What hard work! I think the metal edging may work better for you. The plastic ? Well.......
🦋You have a beautiful property and you two are the “dream team”. The new walkway will be another gorgeous highlight. Looking forward to seeing it completed and planted! Happy weekend everyone 👒💚💛🥰
Lowes sells a "splicing stake" made by Col-Met to to keep edging in place where there is no notch. Its made to hold cut edges, but also nice on curves. I use metal edging for circular planting beds under large trees on a slope.
Hi Jenny , love the colours that come out in the stones and rock just love 💕 it 🥰looks amazing great job you guys great design 🙌thank you for sharing your amazing ideas 👌🧤👒🐨🦘🇦🇺🧚🤩
It's looking so nice, can't wait to see the finished garden. I'm also interested in how you get rid of the grass. No easy feat in Texas with Bermudagrass, bindweed then dealing with our gumbo clay.
May I suggest a 3 lb sledgehammer next time you have to drive stakes like that. You folks are amazing. You do so many different things and you do them so well.
Wow... it’s really coming along. My wrists hurt watching you hammer the stakes. LOL. (I was able to use a small block of wood to help drive in mine. It took some of the shock out of the impact.)
Hi Jenny and Jerry, the place is coming together, it is going to look amazing, you both are very hard workers. thanks for sharing the up date on your projects its a pleasure to watch the procedure, I am so glad I have found your you tube channel. Thank you both and all the others who help pull it all together a big thanks to them too. Cheers for now.👍💖🦋😊🌺🌻
So glad you guys didn't spread out the sandstone slate. It looks great.Look forward to the finished project. PS any time you want to rent out Jerry for gardening needs only I would be a taker. Just kidding, you both are so cute together and I am so happy for you and your family. When your daughter weds can she walk down that path in heels ? Doesn't matter heels or no ,by the time she decides to marry that walkway will be a fairy garden. Love your shows. Don't mind me with the teasing comments. I am happily married with 2 granddaughters born during Covid and I am a nurse now on Long Term Disability. Today was a good day container gardening and spring clean up. I take the good days and bad days as genuine gifts. Stay safe.
We have some metal edging that the previous owners put in, it does its job keeping the mulch in however I have tripped over it and twisted my ankle several times.
Been there. Done that. My backyard project last year, trying to work around tree roots is just as fun. Jerry makes it look easy pounding those stakes in. I still have 6 more to pound in this year. Ugh
Watching jerry whip around in that equipment made me so nervous! He’s clearly been doing this awhile, and has complete control of what he’s doing with that machine.
I LOVE the urn and plinth next to the building-lol!🙄 I have to remember to CHECK the words before I send them, for whatever reason, they don’t always come out right!
I just wanted to share an idea with you that I did on my walkway. In the gravels I added 22'ooo marbles with a turned over pot that contains marbles spilling out in the path way. Mary Kuhn.
I am very impressed...with your patience with each other, with your perseverance, vision, and with how it’s all coming together. Inspirational! Can’t wait to see the finished product!

This is all going to be so beautiful in the end! I totally second the choice to go with more Flagstones, there just so pretty and unique!
Nice job so far. One day at a time. Looking good! keep up the good work and enjoy the Summer!!
It's coming together! That unique stone container in the driveway (I'm assuming beside garage door) is beautiful, I couldn't stop staring at it! Amazing how 1 plant in the right container can make such an impact!
Great eye! It is a Unique Stone piece with only 1 Supertunia Bubblegum in it 💗

GO JENNY!
Inspiring🎉🥰
Love it's
We just put down 800sqft of flagstone for a patio.
Once I got my initial stakes in place correctly, I used a metal ground tapper and they the stakes went down fast.
Bet there’s lots of snoring
in the house! Wonderful job!
😂😂😂
Looks amazing! Could that plastic edging be used to separate grass from a mulched bed?
