    It is a great car. People do not know a lot about this amazing car. We used to have one back in the olden days when I used to live in the Middle East. With the crazy heat of the desert there, Mitsubishi was working like a dog. I loved it and still do. I am driving a another car now but my heart is with beautiful Miss Mitsubishi.

      Only in the US, and that's because US buyers are fvcking idiots. They dislike something because they think it must be bad if it isn't selling well.

    Got mine three weeks ago in Mercury Gray here in The USA - 2022 brand new SEL model and absolutely love it. Sensible car for sensible people. They are bringing out a PHEV model here in N. America in August. A thumps up from me.

    I really enjoyed the driving segment of this review. You showed us what it would be like to push the vehicle a little bit, and how it would sound. Thanks for not just reading the brochure and stating the obvious like some other reviewers.

    I bought the SE Sport. Absolutely love it. Has all the bells and whistles. I love the Diamond Red and spent extra for the coating,so no spots. I previously has a Mirage ES which had low mileage when I traded it in because I didn't feel safe in such a small car. It did ok in the snow, but size was the drawback. I live in Minnesota so the AWD was important for winter driving. I feel safer in it and it has a 5/5 safety rating. I love the way it handles and looks. I'll drive this one forever.

      @Everyday Reviews Great review but I felt like you should of talked a bit more about reliabilty. All Mitsubishi cars come with the much aligned JATCO CVT7 or CVT8. This is a big liability if a new owner is hoping to net 200k miles.

    • @84impalaguy
      @84impalaguy 2 года назад

      @@kylemas2005 The transmission comes from the factory with a dipstick and a drain bolt in the transmission pan, plus it has both an internal and external filter (external is a screw on like an oil filter), both of which are replaceable. Mitsubishi has been using JATCO transmissions for years, and thanks to easy servicing they've never had anything close to the issues Nissan has (with their sealed 'lifetime fluid' varients they use).

    There is nothing wrong with the back design of the older model eclipse. The split window with the bar actually helps to block out headlights from behind that blinds you.

    Mitsubishi needs to release a ralliart model with bigger turbo charger and rear diff lock. The awc is unreliable for offroading.
    Other than that the new eclipse cross looks very good.

    Just ordered one. SE in FWD (don't need AWD I where live in Southern U.S., so a bit extra pep with lighter weight and gas/cost savings). Got Lightning Blue. Excited. Mitsu often gets hate. Sure, their plastics/info aesthetics are sometimes meh, but of the things I care about, they've been the best cars I've had, and this one crams in a lot for the price at the SE level at least, plus warranty.

    This is the only car, I know of, with a signal indicator sound choice ability. This makes it Unique! I was interested in this video cause in Europe the Eclipse Cross has the same powertrain than the Outlander PHEV. I assume this Eclipse is some lighter than the Outlander which could make it more atrractive performance wise.

    I bought Mitsubishi's in the 70"s and 80s, Lancer, Tredia and their best SUV Montero. When people didn't know what SUV meant, I bought my 1981 Montero. Having said all that I will not buy one today because the company is not solid. Yes they make nice cars but quality control is not there and these cars depreciate very quickly. If you want to spend that kind of money, buying a used Honda, Toyota or Mazda is much better.

    • @marketingmajor8126
      @marketingmajor8126 3 года назад

      And the new 2022 Outlander actually is a rebadged Nissan Rogue. That's probably one of the reasons they changed the looks of the Eclipse Cross so as to more closely resemble the Nissan Rogue since the new Outlander is just a rebadged Rogue.

    IMO, programming a CVT to behave like a traditional auto is just silly; Since one of the main advantage CVT has is, able to deliver power continuously, and smoothly.
