Thank you for a very informative review. It seems most reviewers default to dismissing Mitsubishi . This is a sensible car that has very easy to use interior controls. It is a welcome change to the sea of capacitive touch controls that are on many new vehicles.
This was not only fair, but very professional! I appreciate this review. Because as a previous Mitsubitshi owner, I personally have had nothing but joy with mine! And this Mitsubitshi Cross I am certainly interested in the Mitsubitshi Cross!
Great informative video. Recently purchased this exact model. Wife’s auto. She loves everything about it. I love the warranty and hopefully the reliability. Question, is the back guard on the bumper a standard feature or an option for this trim package? Of all the features you showed, this is one we didn’t have. And yes, I scratched the bumper and it made me mad, not to mention the boss was upset. Thanks for the effort in making the video.
Love my 2019 SE, and would not hesitate to buy it again. The auto hold feature is a welcome addition as are the power folding/heated outside mirrors. Would love it if Mitsubishi would have a wireless charging pad. Good review, BTW. Fair and concise, unlike other reviews that have raked it over the coals because they don't like the use of the Eclipse name!
Firstly thank you for your review.. I have 2022 SEL trims…actually So much good car,I definitely enjoyed with its marvelous handling and smoothness ride and smooth steering wheel …love Mitsubishi Eclipse cross
I just got a 2022 Mitsubishi eclipse cross. But I have not been able to take it for a drive but I love the look. Is there anything I should know about under the bottom of the jeep, because someone said that people take advantage of something under neat
Thats the right idea, Never buy a Toyota. Even though Toyotas are one of the good cars out there, there are lots of other good cars as well. The Toyotas are over-rated, therefor more than enough people are making the decision to buy Toyota or Lexus. As a result Toyota is under pressure to keep up with demand, so they have to find new suppliers for some of the parts. There was a time when there were massive recalls for safety related reasons, such as gas pedals becoming stuck. Bottom line, Buy anything but Toyota, Lots of other good makes to choose from.
Another thorough , competent review by Lauren, as usual. I recognize the road you drove down, and the number of ' for sale' signs is a clue that we are located in a blue socialist state. Mitsubishi started downhill in 2000, as they went to cheaper parts to increase profits. A decision to an alliance with Renault just made things much worse, as that company was booted out back in the 70s by American consumers. If you want to partner with the French, Pugeout is the pick, not a company synonymous with cheap and unreliable. Nissan finally woke up and booted out the French executive. So, now the alliance with Nissan should help both brands from Japan. At the price points you referred to, the Kona /Seltos/Soul can out handle, accelerate, and get same or better mpg and warranty. P.S. I would take the 1993/4 Dodge Colt/ Mitsubishi Mirage I once owned over this vehicle even now.
They did a great job at this price point. BTW, I have covered Carlos Ghosn extensively, he saved all 3 companies. The result is the newest Mitsubishi SUVs. Yes, I still live in occupied New York. I’d leave if I could. These are very competitive categories and some people buy based on price and nothing else. Thanks for the comment.
Different class of vehicle all together. If you are looking at a small SUV then the Mitsubishi might be what you are after as the CX-5 is somewhat bigger. I believe the Mitsubishi is overpriced, The Mazda is a far better car.
@@kennedy9072 Thats actually incorrect.... The transmission is Nissan as is many other components, they also share parts with Lexus on the model. As for the new Outlander - its is 85% Nissan so if you bought one you basically are driving a Rogue.
@@Cruisingwithwheels This Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is all Mitsubishi, they released this car in 2017 on their 100th anniversary, yes it's using a JATCO CVT, but it's programmed different and it's way more reliable, it's like saying that Subaru is using an AISIN CVT and it's all Toyota
Another Asian copy cat. This one tries to look like a Lexus. Very boring interior. Mitsubishi has a long way to go if they hope to inspire people to shell out cash for this over all the other choices out there. Great review though, as usual. P.S. I volunteer to hold an umbrella for you next time.
I have to watch this review without wearing my glasses so I can't see the vehicle clearly. If I wear my glasses and the thing is in focus and I can see it clearly it makes me queasy! THAT IS ONE HIDEOUS VEHICLE!

I bought the 2022 SEL AWC trim back in May of 2021 and absolutely LOVE this vehicle!!! Hand down BEST vehicle I have ever owned!!

There is a lot of value in the Mitsubishi line up. Enjoy the ride!
@@CarCoachReports thanks. I love this company and I am loyal.
Great car love mine, the awd works great in the snow, turbo makes it peppy, and 100k 10 year mile warranty is the best in the business.
One of the best looking in it's segment in my opinion also I really think that it would look better with the Outlander's 20" rims
i like my eclipse cross.. its actually really nice

It’s good looking. I like the front fascia. Lexus could learn something!
Must be good on gas if it's a 1.5 l?
No rear Air conditioning vents or DAB + radio.?
i love it
I’d buy this over any Toyota. They suck.

my 2014 fusion gets better hp and gas mileage... hard pass
So tell my why anyone would chose this over let's say a Mazda CX-5?

Nissan???
Yes, Nissan shares drivelines. Their relationship is critical. Mitsubishi moved their US offices to TN to be near by.
