Great tutorial for practicing swivel knife. For me , I have learned that concentration on the third finger pressure to help guide the blade cut has helped me get more accurate cuts ! An learning to leaning top of knife to change direction for petal an leaf cuts . Thanks Don . Great view of your hand an finger movement s .
Do you have a preference on blade style? My swivel knife came with a straight blade like you use in this video, but I had a thought that an angled blade would do something for me, but now I can’t remember what it was.
Hello Mr Gonzalez,I want to wet form a cigar case but I want to tool a design into it also. What do I do first to maintain my tooling? Thank you in advance.
In one of your past videos you had a beveller that you could run along straight lines quickly rather than using a stamp. Where could I find one of those?
FYI I just bought scraps from Amazon. The vendor is ELW (European Leather Works). I got 6 lbs of 6-10 oz for $60 with a 10% discount. They sell 1lb for $20 as well as lighter weight. I've bought scraps from them 4 times over the last 2 years and the sizes are excellent for practice or small projects. Have a great day.

Mr. Don,
Jim Linnel has a video called swivel knife finesse every body should watch, I believe he also offers it as a course at most leather shows.

Thank you, Don, that was very helpful! I'm a musician and can't agree with you more on the importance of practice. Great video!

Even your practice pieces are artistic.

A video covering case management would be awesome. Also would you mind showing/detailing the tool roll you keep your stamps in? Thank you Sir!

Age old question.... Can I buy a swivel knife that comes sharpened, stropped and ready for use?
You can from most custom makers but after a bit of use you’ll need to strop it anyway.
Good information, I'm just starting. Do you sell practice bags of leather? AKA scrapes.
