@@JohnHill there is no hiding it, I think the style of videos distracts us from the beast. I can see the beast out in the open! Like when you see garret ginner tre 5050 a big handrail 2nd try, you know he’s a beast. But it’s short lived, you’ll jump to him being in his car, going through a drive through then hydro dunking something or playing tech decks.
I appreciate a good skate practise video, man. And I love that you’re taking it serious and getting ready. There’s no winging it against Jamie ❤️ … You know this is the game where you need to bust out the Excalibur 😅

I've made the mistake of creating unrealistic goals at the time to help motivate me to get work done. The unrealistic goals stressed me out, and paralyzed me creatively. When I realized I couldn't maintain these goals, I just gave up temporarily. I hope you are doing good Britton, looking forward to your next videos.

Something I just realized...Spencer you should find a place with super smooth floor to practice on, because it won't be as "forgiving" as the rougher terrain. Meaning that, sketchy landings on rough terrain the floor kind of holds the wheels so you are more able to fix/roll away, whereas on a slick floor if its sketchy it could just slide out under you. Good Looking out❤❤Can't wait for the game

I think it depends a lot on the way Jamie will choose to play. If he wanted to he could just bang out 5 tricks that would 80% likely give you a letter. Let's say he misses two times on offence giving you control, you may very well get 3 letters on him just playing your consistency. If he is going to play like the gentleman he usually plays and deploys some more basic tricks in the mix, that might give you a letter or two on unfortunate misses and take some tricks away from you to set on offence. It's going to be a very very interesting game.

@Daniel S Luan really is from a different planet man, it's insane. However I don't think he'd get a merlin twist down within a week, I think you underestimate "circus" tricks, aka extremely technical and precise tricks.
@Daniel S That suggests to me that you don't skate yourself. To get an idea, watch any one of Jonny Giger's videos where he learns an insane trick. You don't just step on your board and to it.
And even if you are right; for a game of skate it's not about landing it once, but having it consistent enough to pull it out first try. I'll say it now: At his current level, a Merlin Twist will be a letter for Luan Oliviera

I think a big part of it will come down to who is warmed up.. however- I don't think there's a trick you've got that he can't do, so you need to try to beat him with consistency.

Yeah, everybody is pointing crazy tricks, but I don't think that's enough for a BATB win. You need mad consistency and extreme mind game for that. I think Jamie will eventually fall at some point, and maybe the first battle outside europe will bring him some kind of pressure that will make him miss some of the fundamentals. I'd say SPENCER - A, JAMIE - E.
My prediction is there will be a game of SKATE between Spencer and Jamie for BATB12.
