@@matuzaato Disagree, As much as the 3D can be wonky at times, it is still superbly animated, and give a surprisingly amount of depth to the fight scenes, also combining 2D and 3D for the backgrounds was a really good idea to bring alive the really weird world of Dorohedoro. This and Beastars really advanced 3D animation alot
Dorohedoro is one of the most underrated things in terms of anime/manga. I always felt it's a bit like a series with the Phantom Troupe from HxH as protagonists. Weird psychopathic, but most definitely likable, mass murderers doing their thing in a place that kinda resembles meteor city.

fire punch is legit one of the BEST manga I've ever read. It's very heavy, and you might not understand anything from the first round, but once you re-read it, you'll start to understand how and why this or that happened.
Here's something noteworthy. The art director for Dorohedoro is Kimura Shinji. He had previously worked as the background artist for this anime movie in the late 80's - a little thing called Akira. You may have heard of it. Just try and take in the backgrounds of Dorohedoro. It's probably some of the best bg art in the medium. He was also the art for Kekkai Sensen, one of my personal favorite series. Just watch everything the man's been a part of; he's a real genius.

I'm just waiting for you to discover "Rokudou no Onna-tachi", never before has a manga been so much more than the sum of its parts for me while also near continuously getting better and better with time and the subsequent arcs, but a lot of people get turned off by the generic looking tags and the early few chapters. Easily the best manga there is that doesn't have an anime or a hint of one on the horizon.
Oh my god I thought I was the only person reading that manga, its quite possibly one of the most criminally underrated manga in publication today. Hopefully he sees this comment and checks it out!
I have wandered this desert for too long, I thought I was the only one! But seriously, the plot at the beggining is silly, and the art is not my up to my subjective standards. Hey dude! A few months back, like 3-4 months back, I stumbled upon a collection of manga by the same author and illustrator that blew my mind and to this day still made me feel sad and amazed. It felt pretty tragic but super cool. Did it somewhat changed me? Who knows. But yea they go by the names of: As the Gods Will As the Gods Will: Second Series As the Gods Will: Zero The 1st one has like 21 chapters but the 2nd one has 187, I think? The 3rd one, which is Zero, however, is just 6? It’s an origin story of one of the characters in ATGW’s and kind of sheds some light to the 1st and 2nd one The 1st one is about a high school student, the mc, who got forced into a series of games of sorts. Every student that was in school did. He and a bunch of others became trapped in a series of games of death for some reason and they all want and have to survive. The 2nd one is set in the same time, but with a different protagonist. The mc and his best friend had a big fight and the mc skipped school. When the game started, his friend was in it, but the mc wasn’t. He did however attend in a different type of series of games, meant for those who did not attend school. I highly, highly recommend As the Gods Will!!! Once again, it was an incredible and sad experience for me. It was dramatic, mysterious, and freaking action-packed! I also hope more people who read this will want to read it too as it isn’t well-known or popular. It’s quite old too.
Well, I’m happy to have my love of AEW Dynamite vindicated! I’d love to see another pro wrestling vid out of you, if you think you have something to talk about!

FIRE PUNCH! YES MAN! I remember reading this about a year ago, it's so edgy but also so captivating. Never would've though reading the first 10-15 chapters it would have such an esoteric and surprisingly beautiful ending
I was loving it,I recommend it to some of my friends, but from the middle til the end, man, that went downhill fast.
The themes he brought up were very mature, but they went nowhere and the fine line between interesting and offensive, in retrospect, are just offensive and childish.
I loved Fire Punch so much because it was like a polar opposite to stories like Mad Max and Violence Jack. Morally very grey protagonists that start with a clear path that gets destroyed along their journey. I usually much prefer the hot desert wasteland setting, but the frozen tundras in Fire Punch were really incredible for the story
Netflix jail is the worst. Beastars didn’t get anywhere near as much credit as it should have while airing, and now it’s actually on Netflix... well the die hards are rewatching it, and I’ve seen a few people talk about it, but the hype has moved on. Netflix really need to get on board with simulcasts.
BNA will also suffer from this despite being by the same people responsible for Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill.
Aw man is it Netflix exclusive?
I can’t wait for Fire Punch to be animated. I’m honestly so excited. The manga is bomb and people are finally seeing the light
16:36 SEW: This next one means a lot to me
*shows Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker *
Me: uhhhhh-
SEW: NOPE! *laughs* I'm gonna talk about wrestling.
Me: Ah there we gooo!
I loudly said -WTF WOLF!?- when that came up
I did a *bruh* and then a reverse *bruh*

"You can't just make your own Jojo part."
Hell with it, to me Warhammer 40k canon is now propped up by "The Emperor Has a Text to Speech Device."
What are you talking about TTS is canon.
They do more world building in that show than they do in normal 40k to be honest.
It really isn't..especially considering TTS hasn't been good or funny in a long time.
Honestly that show is just barely far off
in the grim darkness of the 42nd millennium... there is hope.
And memes.
Hell yeah, someone else watched Primal. The ending for season 1 felt like a good ending to the ‘story’ so I’m excited to see what season 2 brings.
Oh hell yeah. The PC-98 is a dreamscape of 90s anime aesthetic.
this whole video was great but hearing you talk about Gendy and his show Primal brought such a smile to my face I honestly hope that man never stops making things cause men like him constantly show us the true power of animation and why it is simply the best
Your transition from Star Wars to Wrestling was perfect
You got me into wrestling with AEW and it makes me so happy hearing you talking about it still, with me knowing and understanding what you're talking about! Omega and Page vs Young Bucks was match of the year!
16:03 that was recorded in the country i live, Czech republic, in the city i live, Žatec. And i am seeing it in a video of my favorite youtuber.
I'm so proud of this community
I was talking about this with an office mate from Czech.
Dorohedoro is my favorite and I'm so excited when there will be anim of Dorohedoro :D
Fire Punch is brilliant, its ending might be my favorite of all time.
I haven't seen Dorohedoro but I can't recommend the manga enough. I don't think the anime, especially the 3D models capture Hayashida's style as well.
I love Granblue Fantasy so fucking much I could cry, I actually teared up when you said you like them aaa
I hope the community of gbfv grows a lot, thank you dude
seeing Firepunch on the thumbnail made me happy
Ikr, so underrated
It's pretty good but the ending is hella confusing.
The Ending ripped out my brain, shat on it, stuffed it into a blender and fed it to the local homeless man

It tries to be end of evangelion but failed.

I'm happy to see more people getting into the world of Granblue through Versus! As much as I'd love to recommend the base game too, it may not be for everyone. I love it to death, but it can be a huge timesink. If you're into into MMOs/JRPGs and are interested in the world as presented in Versus, you might want to look into it though. If so, now's the best time. They're doing a 6th anniversary celebration and giving away a bunch of free stuff.
I see fire punch in the thumbnail I automatically like
I'm afraid... That manga was... Something...
@@GLIEPNIR Yeah , it was weird and not in a way that I liked. Got tired of the "WTF" pretty quickly

Satumi The Neet Read Chainsaw Man, it’s by the same mangaka
Honestly Eyepatch is a crazy hype addicted man masquerading as a calm connoisseur of the anime arts
fire punch is legit one of the BEST manga I've ever read. It's very heavy, and you might not understand anything from the first round, but once you re-read it, you'll start to understand how and why this or that happened.
@Danny Williams no spoiler pls. it's a brilliant manga and you just gave it away
Won't says it the best manga but it does gives a unique reading experience to me
It's kino.
Yeaaah, I never thought you'd cover Primal!! Love that show
Now.....how about that Beastars
i love this chanel so much because every video is like a talk or a presentation of a dear friend who really likes those things and talk passionated about it and this is lovely
"The deep loving discussions that follow"
Cut to Woolie running away at high speed
The fact that ricepirate got kira buckland is amazing, and I really hope she gets the role as Jolyne for part 6. I love seeing how much she loves the character
You've sold me on Dorohedoro.
Your videos bring happiness to my life during times of sadness. Thank you for creating them.

There are dozens of us, dozens!
Probably the only good harem manga to ever existed. Have it finished yet? Been trying to re read it.
@@iliveinsideyourhouse3943
Still going, but honestly I feel it'll be reaching some sort of conclusion in two arcs tops.
I have wandered this desert for too long, I thought I was the only one!
But seriously, the plot at the beggining is silly, and the art is not my up to my subjective standards. However, the twists and the characters are so much fun!I think it's kind of hard to hook you up inmediatly, but the read is worth it.

Shoutout to Thor High Heels. I love him so much.
I like him almost as much as tim rogers. Delicious wordburgers in every video.
Finally Firepunch is getting the recognition it deserves. My favorite manga.
I'm a little late to the party here, but after finishing Fire Punch I have to say that Fujimoto is clearly a genius.
Yoooo, my boy Thor High Heels getting some love. He’s been making great content for years and has been improving on his analyses throughout. Really glad he’s getting some recognition here.
Dookie5495 hell yeah, dude’s been grinding out videos like crazy with a consistently high quality, hope he blows up
Primal made me cry. Three times. In five episodes. With no dialogue. It's that good.
when u talked about star wars episode 9, i legit was scared for a moment there
Fire Punch is beautiful, one of the things that I will never regret reading. Thanks /a/!!
Hey dude! A few months back, like 3-4 months back, I stumbled upon a collection of manga by the same author and illustrator that blew my mind and to this day still made me feel sad and amazed. It felt pretty tragic but super cool. Did it somewhat changed me? Who knows. But yea they go by the names of:
As the Gods Will
As the Gods Will: Second Series
As the Gods Will: Zero
The 1st one has like 21 chapters but the 2nd one has 187, I think?
The 3rd one, which is Zero, however, is just 6? It’s an origin story of one of the characters in ATGW’s and kind of sheds some light to the 1st and 2nd one
The 1st one is about a high school student, the mc, who got forced into a series of games of sorts.
If you guys do read it thanks so much!
I'm currently quarantined in Madrid and this video could not have come at a better time! Thank you!
Well, I’m happy to have my love of AEW Dynamite vindicated! I’d love to see another pro wrestling vid out of you, if you think you have something to talk about!
Never stop making these. I love finding new interesting stuff that I otherwise wouldnt have found if it weren't for these videos. Keep the manga recommendations coming as well!

Having read the Dorohedoro manga, the story IS FUCKING 11/10! And EXTREMELY unique. It's seriously one of the most unique and amazing stories of all time. Highly recommend it to anyone, good job including it in your list knew I subbed to you for a good reason ;D
