@@ManThatsMental It'd largely depend on the character of the President. If you know the world was going to end and there was no escape, would you want others to have a chance to enjoy those moments, or try to live in bliss until those final violent moments?
Personally I think I'd want to know. That way I could bury the hatchet with a few people to go into the unknown with a clean mind.

Anyone else find these types of videos therapeutic?
No really, it makes you think, something like this CAN happen. You’d be facing the very last week, day, or even hour of your life and have nothing left to do besides share your final moments with your family and friends, reflecting on yourself, and finally face your fate.
Just imagine being in the position of having lived a life of regret and fear, only to face death itself, giving you the ultimate disappointment.
You can practically just hear the universe telling you: “You have wasted the brief time you’ve been given.”
Now, all you have left to do is repeat the same frustrations of regret you’ve been experiencing your entire life all over again for the final time, futilely begging for more time.
It strikes the rich, poor, young, old, animals and even plants. Death is the ultimate equalizer. It gives us a sense of proportion to separate what is a petty waste of time to what is truly important.
We all should strive to be, unapologetically, our best selves. Live life with a sense of purpose. Your days are numbered. Learn to confront your mortality; Fear death less and less. Then when your final moments come, you’ll have no regrets.
MikeyBroski well said my friend, although I’m 17 years old, I don’t have a significant other, and I live in a house where my family basically hates me, I should use the time I have to fix relationships so if the world were to end in a matter of days, weeks, or hours, I won’t feel pain, regret, or fear. Like a one person has said, “Live life as if it were your last day.”

You’re my favorite EAS creator for a reason, because this was phenomenal! I love the emotion that was put into this, especially when the actor was talking. Even the ticking at the end gave me chills, outstanding job!

Aye. Seed banks exist around the world in case of these kinds of catastrophies and if you could survive the first few years in a bunker while getting some sort of renewable food and water sorted out near the end of the earth being covered in a cloud of bullshit you'd be fine. That being said many people are going to not make it.

Velociraptors of Skyrim hate to break it to you, but, no, we wouldn’t.
The meteor that killed the dinosaurs is theorized to have been 6.8-50.3 miles in diameter. The meteor in this scenario is 70+ miles in diameter. The Chicxulub meteor (the one that killed the dinosaurs) killed 75% of all life on Earth. The meteor in this scenario is way bigger than the Chicxulub meteor. I doubt humanity would survive something that big.
Uh, it's a 78 mile-wide asteroid. It would likely crack the mantle. The planet would survive but it'd take hundreds of millions of years for everything to work its way back around for the building blocks of what we consider complex life to gain a literal and figurative foothold.
The voice acting is on point. The anguish and despair(even shame, I'd say, considering how shitty of a plan to get rid of the asteroid that was) the president expressed in this video felt so real. I also loved your absolute zero video. Stuff there went from zero to one hundred in barely a few minutes. And the thought of dying an ice-cold death, knowing not only the whole human race, but also all existing life are about to be wiped out from Earth is quite a horrifying very last one.

I felt this all in heart. I almost cried, because this seemed so real. Great editing, great voices, great everything. I loved it.
Holy shit this is just.. wow, absolutely PHENOMENAL! I compared both videos and goddamn, the improvement is absolutely outstanding, you made this scary as hell. What I truly like about this one, aside from other asteroid scenarios, is that NASA actually TRIED to stop it, they tried but failed horribly, so the world will suffer a horrible fate, definitely adds to the realism. The voice actor was amazing as well, definitely captured the emotion of the alert. The ticking at the end is a very nice touch as well, gave me chills and also had me thinking I was in that situation haha. I see you're super close to 8k as well, definitely well earned Radio, I hope to see you make it to 10k with all the hard work you put into these. AMAZING job as usual!
