I didn't even realize the hearty durian weren't there anymore with everything going on in this game ! What I like to do though is use the Hateno field you unlock with the school line of quests and grow hearty radishes. That way I can just come back pretty frequently and get a few of those. I find hearty truffles are also very common in the new caves everywhere, so I haven't felt the struggle for full recovery meals. But I'll keep that handy because I haven't found those yet and I want to complete that compendium !!
I failed to mention that the salmon will respawn, use the blood moon as a reminder to go back and harvest them again 😉and fun fact, these salmon were also in some of the same locations such as Lake Kilsie in Breath of The Wild 😎

Love the wagon wheels on the boat! I'm always getting stuck when trying to pilot my fan boats. I'd love to see a video on how to upgrade the pristine weapons in the depths. I've watched Austin John Plays video and I still can't get it to work. I'm hoping you can explain it better. Does the decayed version have to be broken without having been fused? Must we always go to the same ghost soldier to get the improved weapon?
I think it has to do with leveling up, The more you level up that is when you’re going to get the better weapons I’m not sure if it is a specific statue, however, I do think it is specific to that weapon so if a certain statue is holding, let’s say a sword then you’re going to get the better swords versus a statue holding a spear or something… and the Gerudo area or highlands area seem to have a heavier sword If that makes any sense, but I think it has to do with how much you level up before you can get the pristine good weapons so to speak
I also think it has something to do with how many Yiga Clan hideouts you have Concord in the depths but then again, I’m not positive. I’m not a stats girl…. I just play the game and try to relay what I find out as I play … so I’m sorry if I’m not much help on that, but this is my theory😂
As far as the decade weapon is concerned, if you’re talking about slamming it on the ground you need to fuse it first then slam it until it is almost broken… then it is extremely important to slam it two more times. There is a hidden modifier… but this weapon is only useful on Lynels Because if you hit anything with it, it will break, but it won’t if you are mounted on a Lynel… so I’m not sure if that’s what you’re talking about but if you are then yes as soon as you get the notification that the weapon is badly damaged, you need to slam it two more times

Nembis who owns Nembis's Fine Foods - a cart and horse guy on the road from Kakariko Village - (past the Lanayru Wetlands & the Sahasra Slope) - closest shrine being Morok Shrine (A Bouncy Device) has 3 Hearty Salmon to sell at 80 rupees each.
If you go down the sinkholes in the sand at Gerudo desert, you will go down to a cave where there is a a LOT of Hearty Lizards which gives you ful recovery +4 extra hearts every time you cook a Hearty Elixir. I also found a lot of hearty truffles just by putting them on my Sensor+
side note: ur after hearty materials in totk and missing durians, HEARTY LIZARDS! all caves/sinkholes in the gerudo region have quite a lot, run around with sensor on and full sneaky outfit and have picked up 6/7 in each cave, sometimes more. if you scare one away keep running around the same cave (i smash rocks and grab other materials for a couple minutes) and another one will spawn, just keep that sensor on. also caves so the occasional hearty truffles :)
Greetings from the BIG SKY of Montana. I hunted hearty salmons in BotW and I only found 2 places, ome in Rito and the other below the Castle at the dock.
Easiest fishing - use a canoe from lauraline village and add 3 sleds on their side (to create a little bucket like a bulldozer) to the front and that are about half under water then add a shock emitter at water line in bucket. I ride around the sea looking for porgie but work great in lakes too. Anything that gets shocked ends up collecting in bucket and you hop in to collect and off again. I use a fan and steering stick but could easily work with a sail
No excitement in finishing the game. I finished everything there is to do in BOTW, but never bothered to fight Gannon. Drives my husband crazy but 🤷🏻♀️
Noob here. Is it possible I don't have hearty salmon in my lake kilsie because I haven't triggered an event or something. Wheels on the boat is brilliant. Been up and down the lake with my sensor set to hearty salmon and haven't heard a blip while swimming around endlessly. Also peppered most of the lake with around 80 shock fruit and I'm getting nothing. Does time of day impact them at all? 🤔 This is my first time at Lake kilsie and there's been a blood moon since I've been back. This noob needs those extra hearts! 😄 Great content btw. I had a play list labelled Zelda totk and it just became WTF Gaming videos. Your channel is basically my play list now. Thankfully I've got shock fruit to burn after that awesome trick for endless bomb flowers, ice fruit etc Any help much appreciated!
Something is definitely not right with my Lake Kilsie. I just flew in over Tama Pond and my sensor lit up straight away as I was gliding in. Everything worked perfectly. I'll go back to lake kilsie and try gliding over it to do a scan.
I am not sure about having to trigger something they should just be there. I did have difficulty with my sensor as well until I just swam around or got up in the air in the wind gust or use a boat with a korok leaf or something …. but it seems like as soon as the sensor picks one up then you’ll find several so I don’t know if there’s something that triggers it I do know they hide if you are on a zonai device …. and thank you so much I hope the videos help, thank you for watching!
When you stop the device get off and swim or give it a few seconds if you travel down the lake, just try doing the same thing where I marked on the map that is usually where I can find them so if you’re in that area just jump off of the device and swim for a little bit. See if that helps.
@@WTF-Gaming I've tried ever method you've mentioned here and in the video and things just keep getting weirder. Turns out this pre-noobescent is a demon king slayer as of last night. I came back to the lake to test it again and the sensor starts blipping in the air, swimming in the water and even on the zonai boat with wagon wheels. As I swim towards the sensor to get an angle I can swim all the way to the rock wall on the edge of the lake and the sensor with be screaming but still no salmon or chillfin trout! 😭 I thought maybe having done the demon king they could be there but I reloaded the game from previous to that to keep going. This has me absolutely stumped! All other locations in your video work perfectly for hearty salmon. I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong 🤷🏻♂️
@@WillowTube do you have the stealth armor? The only thing I can think of is your sensor is going off but maybe you’re swimming too fast and scaring the fish and they are going down deeper if you have the stealth armor try equipping that and when you’re start to hear you sensor in that direction, save your game so you don’t lose anything at first, but then try to use some shock fruit in that area and see if you can hit some…that lake is really dark and hard to see in and if you’re swimming fast towards the fish, the salmon will swim away from you

I just found that bunch in Lake Kilsie today! As I was finishing off finding the remaining caves!! Ironical!
These salmon were also located in this lake in breath of the wild😉

Wellspring island in the sky has 2 hearty bass in a tiny pool. This is a side Quest called wife wafted away in the Zora Domain.
