My fingerprints were probably on that tractor when it left the factory in 79 - I worked in the parts department pulling kits for the factory next door. Besides picking parts, I unloaded tires that were delivered, shuttled CV joints from parts to the paint shop and moved via forklift engines to final assembly.
I totally agree dad should get his choice. Now it's time to build a competition pulling tractor. Need more pulling events in the western states. Lucas Oil help.
This, the best maschine with the most comfort goes to the most senior operator. Our close to retirement operators mostly get a new excavator/Truck 3 years before retirement. Holywood and Legarms can ride it when senior wont climb the ladder anymore.
Dad deserves it. Better money spent on the Big Bud than newer equipment. I'm really impressed with the interior work. I would not have the patience for that.
Dad my vote goes to you of driving the referbish Big Bud you made it all happen by hard work. You guys are amazing in the quality and quantity of work you get done. I hope the next generations of your family will continue you guys have accomplished. May God bless you and your family’s in the process. What you do reminds me of the poem or prayer of “Why God made a Farmer”.
And this is why your channel is so awesome. Your family is such an awesome team that does a lot of work yourselves still and has the videos to prove it!
Dad's the BOSS, Give him whatever he wants, great job to the whole team. Your family is the "salt of the earth" with what you do and what you've done! Keep up the great work, be safe, keep warm. Blessings from here. Doug@ the "ranch"
I always think its amazing when people restore old machinery, but it's even better when it gets restored so it can be used. Keeping history alive :) (let your Dad drive whatever he wants, hes earnt it)
It is amazing to see the amount of work put into this. Your skills and ethic are at a level most people can not imagine. An absolute pleasure to watch.
Another masterpiece by Welker Brothers and Dad Restoration Shop. Leg arms makes machining parts look so easy. I have done enough machine work to know I have no idea how to do machine work. Just amazing. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you're an artist.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; DO NOT BE AFRAID.. The LORD IS WITH YOU. Exactly what I needed to hear. God is with you WELKERS. Bless you.
Your legacy will live forever with this films. Just only the camera work is impressive not mentioning the hard work on the machines. A piece of art- the films and the hard work your put into the machines and the land work. I always will enjoy your work. Keep it up💪👊👍
Repair, Rebuild, Recycle, Restore then Replace. This is how I became a very wealthy man. Not only did you save money from buying brand new piece of very expensive equipment you get the satisfaction that you did a job well done. It is always great to see people use their hands and their minds to get ahead in life. This was a beautiful restoration. Stay warm and dry my friends.
You guys truly are Masters of the Craft. I wish I would have had a good head on my shoulders when I was younger. I could have had my Grandad's Kinberger Family Farm. Things happen. But your videos and farming take me back to the good days that I remember. Keep doing what you do. And God Bless. Your Biggest Indiana Fan, Jocko.

I'm sure you guys will give your dad his pick. Very nice job amazing. You guys literally saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in avoiding the purchase of a new tractor. Farmers across the country should take notes.
Amazing to see the time and detail put forth into fixing up the old girl. To watch the time-lapse just got me excited to see the finished product!! She is just preetttty! Hats off Welker Family!!!!
This small snip shows non farmers what it takes to be a farmer : painter, machinic, electritriian, auto electrician, horticatrailist, accountant, animal husbandry, builder, plumber, the list goes on. That's a lot of work guys, thanks for the show.
Thank you for another great video. You are all very talented and use what the Good Lord has given you. Praise the Lord for the farmers like you. Bob should be able to use whatever tractor he wants. God bless and I'll be watching for your next video.
The RUclips algorithm worked its magic and played this video randomly just now. I was sitting and praying for Gods direction with things that have been heavy on my heart and i look up and its Joshua 1:9 staring me in the face! Thank you for being a positive influence for Christ and wholesome entertainment i can watch with my kiddos. Keep it up and God Bless from Cotton country in the Texas Panhandle.

Great video, great rebuild on a great machine. I can honestly say that I enjoy your restoration projects as much as I do your farming videos, you guy's do great work and I appreciate the way you glorify our Lord, God bless!

Agree, Need to make that in a decal and add it to the monster of a tractor. Great job to all who worked on it. I know putting your own sweat n blood into restoring means so much more than sending it off and have someone else do the work. That's why I like your channel so much. I grew up on a alfalfa farm and you didn't have the luxury of having someone else waiting to work on a breakdown.
I knew that this video existed but always forgotten to look it up. Today it just popped up. Fantastic job rebuilding the world’s largest tractor! It looks amazing!
Yes it pains to see the combines outside but i am sure the Welkers feel that much more than even we do! Buildings cost big bucks and then taxes afterwards so there's that to think about too.
I saw on insta that they have just taken delivery of a brand new grain bin, so as long as it's built up by next harvest they won't have to store grain in their equipment buildings.. problem will work itself out...
