I'm in America, omg thank you so much! This video was so helpful! My 14 year old daughter has started painting portraits of dogs for people and she has gotten to the point where we are now shipping them to other states! This was the most helpful, educational video to help us know how to ship these out as best as possible. Thank you so much!

Great tips! I will add, on labels. In the US, I print the label on regular paper, fold in half, and place that in a plastic sandwich back, tape and seal to package. This saves on tape. I always put a copy of the shipping label in the box and invoice in the box so if the box is damaged the shipper can see 'where' it is supposed to go. It is rare but sometimes packages can get ripped where the label is. Another artist posted how he shipped his big paints (Dan Nelson), he uses foam insulation they sell at the hardware stores. He builds a box out of it and shrink raps the whole thing. Thank you for your posts!

So that's why I put label in box, wow thanks for the reminder I totally forgot about if box gets lost, which could happen. You have good tips just in your comment!!!

MDF Board (medium density fibre board), slightly more expensive but made of wood and recycled materials usually. Or the board you find on the back of art paper pads sometimes. Chipboard.

I am just thinking if it is better to put the bubble wrap first to avoid the tissue paper got stuck with the painting......its not like sticky sticky I am just guessing if the varnish is not dried out successfully but its been days already, thanks for your advice I am so new to art business!
