I remember a conversation Hassan had with Saboor Aly in some award show about coming on Something Haute to give an interview and Saboor said but you guys don’t say anything good about my work… so another category of actors who don’t want to give interviews - the selective actors who may not want to give interviews to a specific interviewer because of past criticism the interviewer may have made regarding their work😉
When I read the title of the video I thought..

When I was in 4th grade, our school did a collection drive for flood victims. I remember thinking the affected kids must be bored so I added story books to my donation bag. I remember the girls in my class found it hilarious and really didn’t think beyond the clothes and daal packs their mothers had put in the bags

Same vein of thought with refugee camps. Refugees are regular people like us. They don't always need clothes and food. But they also have birthdays, have engagement ceremonies or weddings and funerals. For these they also need money. It's astounding how people don't come fwd to donate for these incidences but only assume that refugees will be at 101 basic level of needing food, clothes, shoes... forever. Errr....
Remember when Amna api said Everytime someone mentions her in a comment they are very respectful and it just came to me it’s because they see how hassan treats amna api even when they are in a little banter it never crosses the line. Also because amna api is the cutest 🥹

Aamna defending fawad khan and pointing fingers at others for not giving interviews seem very biased to me. I do remember her actually calling out fawad for giving interview to anupama chopra during one of the previous haute bites when you guys discussed the rumors whether fawad or Humayun saeed is picked for the crown.
I used to be very keen on haute bites but the direction of topics that is being picked to discuss is causing me to lose interest.

Sajal doesn't give interview because she is socially awkward and not confident enough but her work speaks for her.
Zaviyar and syra yousaf doesn't give interview because they don't have anything to talk about yet also Syra doesn't want people to ask her personal question.
Danish and Ayeza don't give interviews because they can't defend their choices
Ahmed ali akbar and Fawad Khan don't give interview because they wants their work to speak for them
Bilal Abbas Khan doesn't give interviews because he is shy
what about Billal Abbas , He gave once during Pyaar ke sadqey but after that i never saw him in one to one interview .
Fawad give an interview to Anupama Chopra recently, but declined Amna’s request.He doesn’t give any importance to Pakistani journalists and fans when we are the ones who made him such a huge star. Like he is too big for Pakistani media channels. He may be talented but I find this attitude really arrogant

Amna you are an amazing journalist, a critic, and wonderful observer. I don't know if you ever watched Anas Bukhash interviews but I feel you do have such ability to take out information from people. You are very honest and I think if people lie about something you have strength to cut out that part and I would say you should experiment and try something out of your comfort zone thats where a higher level of achievement lies MAYBE , and WHY NOT. I actually observed your interview choices. You like to interact with people who are very honest with their work and true to themselves but that should restrict your work. YOU CAN HANDLE WEIRD PEOPLE TOO 😋you are definitely very successful but there's not limit to more of it. You know it but sometimes it need to be heard or read.❤ LOVE YOU BOTH

Love, love, love this episode. It was so casual & fun. Amina always makes the show light hearted & Hassan a bit serious. Love the way you guys pull each other’s leg. You guys are a part of my living room every afternoon.
Hasan, if it seems to you that Maya and Bilal have been seen together in the past it is because they have done lot of fashion shoots together, bridal shoots, even walked the ramp together, I think.
Haven't seen any TVC of them yet, but they did appear together on Ahsan Khan's show.
Also you forgot to mention Jaanan in Bilal's list of work.
Amna’s thing is that she only wants to interview people with some intellect. She interviewed Aoushay Abbasi and it was a bad interview. Anoushay did not want to say much. But it is an interviewer’s job to make people talk. Amna is easy with people who have better awareness of what’s going around are ready/open to talk or they have so many past/present projects. On the other hand Hassan has the ability to talk to any one about any thing. He interviewed child actors (dil an umeed to Baji) and he did a good job.

You guys should do the behind the scene type categories more often. You know most actors tend to give the best image of them on socials or even on interviews. So when you discuss such categories we could well imagine in which category would our favourites or others fall into. And you giving harmless names here and there is fun too lol.
Also on a serious note, praying for your country Pakistan and especially for the victims. May Allah show better days to them.
The way Hasan was smirking during the whole Bilal Ashraf and Maya Ali conversation. I guess, these two are together? They look good together and from their photo shoots and what I've seen during the PSL matches, they seem to have good chemistry so I'm looking forward to their drama.
I think it was less smirk, more “hasee rokna” because you know something that you can’t reveal but also cannot hide your expressions . Heheheehehhe

Hi Guys! Really enjoyed this episode. Can I please request a topic for haute bites? It’s the makeup and styling of actors. Why do they have to over do the lashes and the wigs/weaves. It’s such a huge turn off. I’m sure of you guys do a haute bite, many producers and directors will Notice and maybe not pressurize the actors to go through that look. We have such good looking and talented people but they all seem to share the same look. Both for male and female.

Mahira Khan is not less of a bigger star than Fawad Khan but she has graced all the local platforms for interviews and gigs -
Unlike Fawad Khan, Mahira came for Haute Gold, and numerous other interview on SH and other channels - if she could take time out for Haute Gold despite being such a heavily busy star so could Fawad Khan - however, he chose not to - Disappointed in him!

Wow it’s very interesting topic you chose for today’s talk. I also think about it that many of our artist don’t give interviews and why. You have already described many good reasons.
There is another category that there some actors who are even legendary actors and very well in their craft but when ever they give interview they say something which creates a controversy for them. And cause them damage for their image/ personality. I think they are not very smart to speak and don’t know how to choose words as for viewers they are heroes but yes very well in their craft.

Aamna asks more intellectual and deep questions while interviewing, not to undermine Hassan ,he is good too.She just go with flow ,conversation is not static and interviewers feel at ease with her

Aamna I completely loved your interviews with Sania Saeed and Saba Qamar. You make people say things that give insight to not only their thought process but to the showbiz industry. I would love to see your interviews with Mahira Khan, Usman Mukhtar, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Wahaj, Irsa Ghazal, saba hameed and other people like these.
Hasan and Amna. I believe the initial hot bites idea of eating/drinking something at a restaurant outside of the normal setting is a good idea. Just my opinion . You do you!

Fawad Khan use to do interviews, in India when he did the Bollywood films , he also did a crazy interview with Mahira Khan who had her own show at the time! He has been out of the drama loop for a while, so I doubt if he has anything to say! I’m just. Rewatching Zindagi Gulzar Hai and realised what an amazing actor he is,pity he is not doing more dramas, and his film Maula Jutt took years to be released apparently on November! His Dastan was great yet painful, and the comedic drama Asgari and Akbari was fabulously funny!

Hmm, with regards to the coke and ice discussion apparently the ice cold standards were set by fast food chains because it helps fast food go down the gullet more quickly. Combined with uncomfortable seats and harsh lighting they encourage their customer to spend and exit quickly to allow maximisation of profits. Apologies for rambling but have been listening to “a thorough examination” podcast so couldn’t resist🙃

Billal is shy for media i guess. But I Still believe SH is best platform as Hassan bhai and Aamna baji never ask controversial questions and always allowed guest to speak as per their comfort level so this is best friendly platform for interview . My 2 cents on coke
Amna you can’t pour little little coke over lot of ice- bcoz the coke goes flat in the time you enjoy sip by sip the rest in bottle goes flat.
In US here you ask Coke they give 70% ice and then fill coke-that way it get diluted after 10 mins of ice melting.
The best way is have chilled coke with 2 cubes of coke to keep it chilled and enjoy the fizz.
Hassan- Coke has alternative to sugar - Artificial sweeteners (Sucrlose- or Splenda, Aspartame ) may be derived and processed by chemical synthesis. If you are looking to have zero sugar coke as a daily drink- not good from health perspective but once in a while fine.
The better sugar alternatives are plant based ones- Stevia, Monk Sugar extract
Sugar alcohol again is another topic when it comes to Xylitol eythirol or sorbitol are derivatives of sugar.
Coke is Sucralose which is a chemical synthesis of sugar so better avoid. Hope it makes sense
One more Category:
Some people think not to give interview will help them to retain their fame. A lot of exposure sometime reduces fan following as people get fed up of your stories/talks . Hope you get it

There’s another category..those actors who believe they are way too famous and accomplished to give interviews to the Pakistani media. They believe, they already have a large fan following and don’t want to became too accessible. By not giving interviews they remain elusive and this gives the appearance they are really busy and above giving interviews. I think these actors would jump at the chance to give an interview to Hollywood media though!

It is correct that we haven't contributed that much to the climate change since we are not an industrial country but it was evident that we would be most affected by it. Around a decade ago a Birtish Author Anatol Lieven in his book 'Pakistan a hard country' wrote that the greatest long term threat to Pakistan would be the climate change, even more than its security issues. And that is what we are facing today. Where were all our institutions all these years? Why couldn't we prepare for the situation and why couldn't we build more dams or plant more trees? Because the establishment and politicians are all leaches feeding on this country's assets, they don't give a damn to the deteriorating situation. This is not limited to this year. We are so unconcerned about change that we treat is as a first world issue. Where as we will be affected the most. We had the most forest fires and glacial melt this year than ever.

For Hassan’s question about Coke Zero , it is indeed supposed to have no calories . I have heard a lot of opinions against these low calorie drinks due to the adverse effects of artificial sweeteners on health and that they make you crave carbs etc but they do indeed have no calories and are fine when taken in moderation I think . Esp for people struggling to give up soda loaded with sugar which is way more harmful .
As a medic you are absolutely correct, and this artificial additives/ sweetness are known to cause other health issues!Moreover drinking these Soda’s as we collectively call the nutritionally poor fizzy drinks can damage your teeth, bones by demineralising it! Even sugar free they are highly acidic thus erode the teeth enamel, It’s ok to have these on a rare occasion sugar free, but not as a mainstay for your drinks.,I stick to water, or green tea ( which has some micronutrients).

They are private dude .. when it comes to giving interviews they only give interviews to those who they actually known for years like AHSAN KHAN .. The last interview they gave was with Timeout with Ahsan Khan ... They keep their Instagram proper because they knee fans want that ... I would like you guys to do another session..on why media is not doing interview for old PTV / NTM celebs.. wo log jo legend reh chuke han, bolay basray.. log bhi bhool gayien han unko.. but not working now a days.. for many reasons.May be they not getting work.. or they are living abroad.. if not one to one.. even a Zoom or video interview ..
