Thanks for a fabulous video. Well shot and produced. It looked tough. I am sure it would take me a few days longer. I’d have to hike-a-bike a lot more hills than you two did. But the scenery and historical significance make the Hume and Hovell route look compelling. Goodonya.
Come spring Long Plain will be an excellent option for bikepacking and high on our agenda too. Drop in to the the shop for a yarn, we're more than happy to talk route plans!
Hi guys, great video and love the scenery. I’ve just done two weeks bike packing Japan with some mates and off to do a loop of the Jugungal wilderness tomorrow. Would love to get a copy of your route for our next adventure if it’s available? Cheers Huw.
Thanks Huw, Check out our article here www.tomsoutdoors.com.au/blogs/films/bikepacking-the-hume-and-hovell-400-km-yass-to-albury there is a link to ride with gps (so you can download the route). Good Luck
We have published a link to the Ride with GPS route on our blog post www.tomsoutdoors.com.au/blogs/films/bikepacking-the-hume-and-hovell-400-km-yass-to-albury Glad you enjoyed!
Great video. I would be interested in getting hold of your route. Just for your interest. Your bike (trek) does not have an easier gear going up. 0.615 as a posed to Chris's was 0.588. Lower is better.
Thanks mate! We have published the route on our website via this link www.tomsoutdoors.com.au/blogs/films/bikepacking-the-hume-and-hovell-400-km-yass-to-albury

@ awsome, thanks
Wow
Very nice. How do you think this would go n the opposite direction?
Thank you! I think it would work really well from either direction, the elevation doesn't change much either way! - Chris
Incredible boys. Do you have a GPX file?

You guys would be glad you didn’t go through mungab and up east hill. That would have been the nail in the coffin haha
The route was strategically mapped 😉
