My company specialises in hauling Road Trains for the mining industry and outback communities In my fleet ive got a Kenworth T950 Kenworth T908 Kenworth C509 Kenworth K108 Kenworth k200 and my 2 newest trucks are the 2023 Kenworth T909 for 580K and ive ordered a brand new Kenworth K220 im a Kenworth Man till the Day I die
That's a fleet a young budding owner operator lays awake dreaming about... Congrats boss, I'm sure the road was long (pardon the pun) getting to a place where that was in reach.
in the 70s I worked at Cummins Au, the 855 engine was GREAT, drivers today say the x15s are not so reliable If I were young enough I'd choose Scania, those V8s are Great, gearboxes and retarders are the best, reason 905 sell , IMO is that they fit the macho image
Yes, in some cases I agree that it’s a mucho image. The nine o series of trucks are so much more than just an image. They are much more comfortable than other trucks, they handle really well, it’s something that you wouldn’t understand until you’ve driven one after driving a heap of other model and makes of trucks
Scania is rubbish, way too small a chassis to haul big loads. I've pulled 95 tonne with a scania V8 R660 and I've pulled 95 tonne with a Volvo 540..and the Volvo is wsy better than the scania. Turn the wheel ever so slightly on the scania and the rear trailer starts swinging. They are no good for heavy haulage! I've also pulled 200 tonne ultra quads with a 909, one of the greatest trucks going
I like Kenworth Trucks 🚚 and Mack Trucks 🚚 and more so im Kenworth 🚚 Man and Mack 🚚 Man but im also Scania 🚚 man and in Australia 🇦🇺 you Can have a Scania 🚚 Truck to your Company to Drive Road-Train with this and im fan of this 😀
Where do you get comfort from on these shit roads reliability went out the window when Paccar could no longer supply CAT engines now all you do is boop along dropping liners in my 900 nought
First of all, interior shots are of a 610, not a 909, and you had several macks, 904 kenworths, and Western stars in this video? Volvo is actually the most sold truck in australia...and the 610 is everyones favourite kenworth now. 909 is my favourite, but way too hard for city driving
yeah, they were that good where I work 85 % of the ore trucks are Kenworth's and the mob I work for took over a big job on a mine site the bought the trailers of Bis did not want their Scania trucks just bought new Kenworth's for the job

Scania V8 - Yes.
Comfort and safety. And reliability.

This review is like a sponsored one😂
I made it just over half way. That's enough
😂😂😂
What a seriously impressive truck !!!!
If the UK Construction and Use rules weren't so archaic these would probably sell over here
You wouldn't get them around your pokey pissant roads.
Nice truck!!
kenworth ❤
Kenworth power
Thought Peterbuilt were the biggest & most expensive.
It’s not nine hundred and nine in Australia we say Kenworth T909 at least say it right
@@paulgriffin6723 or 9oh
Price? How much $?
Kenworth r r of all the trucks
Its' expensive mainly because of AU & US Dollar Exchange Rate
C509 is better just sayin

KENWORTH 💪👍👍💪
Tell the man LBS is pounds in Ostraylya!
A New 909 are more like $500K AUD.
C509/510 is cost even more.
Why they can't say it foot pound not l-b-f-t?
659 is a way better truck than a 9o
Are you Australian?
Yes
According to engineers, the most expensive and best is the Volvo F16 🤣🤣🤣 Kenworth all days long 💪💪💪🇦🇺🇦🇺
I've never volvo in the outback...
@@MashileTitusMamabolo What about Qube Holdings?
They nice but they taxing. A W900L new cost like 220k no where near 400k🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️✌🏾

Try and get repairs done, it a joke
Scania beats them all. Its still the best- worldwide
Get off the drugs, scania is a piece of rubbish

Bis trailers are rubbish....they never took care of their stuff.@@gjn71
Nothing beats a Volvo! And its 770bhp!
You work for Qube?
It beggars belief why you'd choose this over the Aussie spec Scania or Volvo?
Its AI commentary
aerodynamic as a brick house . no comfort . old as f... tech .
I bet the Chinese made a/c system doesn't work properly from new...Kenworths have piss poor air conditioning system
