What a wonderful morning present for me to watch this. I walked the Camino de Santiago (The Way) the 500 miles from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago Compostela the first time in 2013 at the age of 74. I have been back to walk other routes of the Camino six more times, and the last in 2022 at the age of 83. Since 2013, my life has never been the same. I am now in training to return again this coming September.. I lost my wife to Cancer in 2009, and much as "Tom" (Martin) kept seeing his son, I kept seeing my wife as I walked. I would see her walking ahead of me, but then slowed down so that I would not pass her and discover that she was someone else.
I saw it when it first came out. Powerful film. To me, that film was something completely different than they way we live in this time. And to be perfectly shallow, I only watched it because Martin Sheen was in it. But it definitely affected me.
Great, all they need in Spain is more tourists on the Camino De Santiago. Thanks to the first release of this very good film by the way, no pun intended, the Camino is full of tourists and with it they’re trash. My fellow Americans, if you do go, don’t be typical and clean up after yourselves.
Wow they are so lucky, (Martin and Emilio) I mean I get it, never say no.. But some of us just have never had that luck Your lucky to be able to say yes to your your dad, your kid, etc etc I have had just an unlucky life, I'm not pitying myself, it's just the truth, some good, alot bad. I think many have... I'm just so glad that Martin Sheen is in this world and Emilio...
Directors got this wrong. You are trying to convince the audience that these two characters are worlds's apart emotionally and directionally, but just a small thing like wearing the same glasses in the car scene does not convince me that these two characters are different. I see them as one
Am I they only one who was momentarily confused by the picture of Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez? I thought Martin was on the left, then I saw he was on the right with white hair. I’ve not seen Emilio since he was young so my brain did not compute.🤖
coming from a family where the 3 siblings don't look much alike and not look much like their parents either even tho my relatives tell me we do, it's amazing how much those two look alike! they could be twins 30 years apart!
