Silver! What an interesting topic. Specially when it comes to watches.
Tudor did what people didn't expect at all and in my opinion it's great and amazing.
This watch is very interesting because as you wear it more, it gives you different vibes day by day. A very unique yet similar to the steel version, it has lots in common with the rest of the 58 family. But the silver, oh the silver, it's worth discussing.
Make sure to watch the whole video to learn some interesting facts about this stunning piece.
Also, make sure you apply the best quality possible so you can have a more enjoyable experience.

OK apart from the 'what's going on' bit I agree with you. I have one of these watches and love it to bits. It has the X Factor in spades and is very different from the black or blue versions. Both of which I have owned and sold. They are nice but not special. The 925 is very special. The tarnishing thing is a bit of an urban myth in my experience. Keep the watch clean, wash it in the shower maybe once in a while and it keeps that precious metal feeling and look about it easy enough. Some who have had tarnishing are I suspect sweating minerals which disagree with the silver alloy. I have worn mine since June throughout a fairly hot summer here in France without any issues at all.
Hey thanks for sharing your experience.
I agree with you on most of this. I actually bought the 925 and had to return it after a day (ended up exchanging it for the ceramic black bay). The reason I had to return it was because of an allergy I had with the alloy. I know it says that its silver mixed with aluminum but there must be something else in the mix that caused the rash on my wrist. Regardless, it was an absolutely beautiful watch that I wish I could have kept (apparently the silver has palladium in it and in rare cases some people can have allergic reactions to palladium). The jeweler I bought it from said that the color would change over time (it would be unique after a couple years) but not tarnish and I can believe that completely; it was a very fine piece and clearly Tudor knew what they were doing when they made it. I did worry that it would scratch easier than the stainless steal watch but that was my only concern with the silver case. Loved the feel of the crown, you could feel the texture of the silver and it was great. it did definitely feel more like a dress watch than a everyday wear like the stainless steal or the ceramic.
What the problem? The patina protects the watch, it’s not rust like steel, and baking soda takes it off. Silver coins are 2000 years old
You’re right. Like I said at the end, its a great watch and it all comes down to preference
Surely the patina is the reason to wear this watch as with a bronze case and possibly a sapphire casebook reduces the materials cost 🤔.
I have owned this watch for over 3 months now, and since it’s a Silver watch case, it should be used like a gold watch. Meaning you can use it in salt water ( yes the strap might suffer if you are a doing it regularly) I use the same silver polishing cloth used for jewelry and bullion. It’s a great watch with its own personality. I enjoy it’s luster, and I wear it a few times a week and sweat on it as I live in south Florida and wear it bicycling in high humidity hot hot coastal weather. If I was a full time diver and only one watch I would probably get the Sinn U50 on Teg Steel , but that watch is way different in style and feel to the BB58
That's awesome man! Glad you enjoy the watch! Like I said too towards the end of the video, the watch is very different and incredibly cool.
Totally Agree If you want a proper Diver a Sinn U50 is the way to go!
The 925 is a Phenomenal piece and my first Tudor , I picked one up a couple of weeks ago and can't stop looking at it. It has a totally different character compared to the other BB 58's which make its so unique compared to the rest.
You’re absolutely right!! Glad you love it! Enjoy!! And thanks for stopping by!! 😉
@@romanmoruz Looking forward to seeing your future content just subed!
Will do my best not to disappoint 😉 stay tuned!
Correction, 925 is 92.5% silver and in the alloy in this watch is AL (aluminum) not copper as you stated. Look at the stamp on the back of the lug, it's stamped AG/AI.
Hey that's great. thanks for sharing this
BB58 925 is not a diver's watch, nor was it meant to be. It's diver-inspired watch. As a side note, I don't know any divers that wear a watch underwater, nor any watch collectors that dive. A SCUBA diver would likely wear a wrist computer, not a watch. So these timepieces are really more like jewelry, or a fashion accessory. Nothing wrong with that. They're beautiful! I own one, but won't be taking it on my next dive.
Loved the brown leather strap and how it looks against the dial!😎🤌😆
Right on! Couldn't agree more!
I currently own a 925 and truth be told I really like it but I would not hesitate to sell it. The silver scratches super easily and it slowly starting to tarnish but not extremely as some of the pictures out there.
That is exactly how I feel about it!
Great video. This is a cool model but I don’t know if anything beats the standard black dial
Red bezel heritage for me. When I think black bay that’s why comes to mind for me
Absolutely love that one! There aren’t many watches with such beautiful touch of red that look this good like the Red Heritage Black Bay!
Thank you very much !! It is much helpful for me to decision whether buy or not bb925
Glad it helped! Thanks for stopping by!
I'm thinking about buying a 58 for my son, but I'm not sure about the silver due to his job. Think the stainless steel will be a better choice.
Your presentations are so professional. Good luck Roman.
Thanks a lot Elena! Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for this

@@romanmoruz ok, thanks ..i did now..
My aunt lives in Germany. Hope I can visit some time. Maybe pick up a Nomos while I am there
Because of the exhibition back the silver is a bit thicker than the OG.Interesting perspective and my 58 is worn constantly, not babied and still looks great.Keep well.
That’s awesome man! It’s a great watch, an absolute stunning piece! Glad you enjoy it!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I got mines! 🥰
As stated below, the alloy doesn't contain copper. Someone did a scientific analysis on youtube, and it is Zinc, palladium and odium. The tarnish issue is way overplayed in my opinion. ruclips.net/video/aXVCMsg6c_s/видео.html
Does it get scratch easier than a steel watch?
That is a really good question! It definitely will much easier than the stainless steel! Thanks for asking! 😎
The Alloy is not 92,5% Silver and 7.5% Copper, but Aluminium instead ( as stamped on the Watch ), please do your homework. THX
Okay 😂😂
The AL is listed to reference the aluminum bezel insert.
✨😃✨
Bro you don't anything about it, you didn't say nothing interesting, only marketing, I know you can do better.
Sorry I brutal honest.
Thanks for watching bro :D
I think this Tudor is nothing more than a bust. Good idea on a paper but horrible in result. My ad now has 3 of them in their case and they can’t dump them.
Haha I understand the frustration for sure!
