I so enjoyed being with you and enjoying the literal “fruits” of your work. Yes the quality of your durian really was remarkable! Thank you so much and I really do hope to visit you again sometime!!
We are big fans of Through My Lens with you and your son, Josh, and then you posted this video from the Philippines and my Filipino wife and I were excited to see your travels in Davao. Safe travels!
So glad to see this pops! I'm from Davao City. Been a subscriber to Josh seeing you together with his videos for almost 2 years now and found that you also have a RUclips channel and subscribed to you. Very glad you visited here. It's like you've visited me here in Davao City. :)

Well, this was a pleasant surprise seeing Pops in the Philippines. I binge watch Josh' videos for future travel ideas, and I knew you have a channel based on those videos, but I never expected the first video recommendation I'll get is from your travel to my homeland 🇵🇭😅
This is a great video. I will be in the country in a month. I have been to Davao and the Philippine Eagle Center. Magnificent bird. sorry they are so endangered. The videos of you and Josh have given me a few suggestions for visiting during my travels. Thanks to both of you, my wife and I have had donuts in Miami, fed the tarpon on the road to Key West, ate key lime pie, and had dinner at the Hobbit in Houston. In looking at your website, I found something other that the love for travels that we have in common. I, too, was a Special Education teacher after I retired from the U.S. Army. Keep traveling and posting and I will keep watching and keeping a list of future stops on the trail.
@@popshikingI think our student populations were at opposite ends of the spectrum, but equal in their needs. I taught Math and Science to all four years of high school in an alternative school to both learning disabled and emotionally disturbed. It was quite interesting at times. Maybe our paths will cross someday. Back to the topic. Hope you do more videos from the Philippines. Good job.
Hi Pops! Mabuhay! I remember asking you and Josh if you have any future plans to visit PI. You mentioned that you’ve been to PI before and like it there. I’m so glad that you are back and enjoying my favorite fruits, lanzones and mangosteen. Looking forward to watch more videos of you in my home country of PI. Enjoy and Safe travels!
Mabuhay! It was a wonderful place and really grew to love the people I met there. I am becoming a student of Jose Rizal too. Look for a video introducing him in the future.
In my high school days I had a chance to visit the house of Jose Rizal in Calamba Laguna. It was a great experience to see the things he personally used and owned. I grew up in the province of Cavite which is very close to Manila and where you can see the beautiful scenery of Taal Lake. Thank you for replying back to my comments! 😊
