I appreciated you guys picking up all the empty plastic bottles. It shows that you're concern about the clean environment. Thank you Troetschel family.
The environment is no one’s property to destroy, it’s everyone’s responsibility to protect. Small acts make a BIG IMPACT! Salute to this man! NOW FOLLOWING THIS CHANNEL ❤️
I completely agree with your Mom's perspective. While tourism is generally beneficial, the excessive influx of tourists presents certain drawbacks. One of these is the issue of litter and garbage being left behind in Palawan. Previously known as the "Last Frontier" of the Philippines, Palawan has lost this title as it has become a popular destination for both foreign tourists and locals alike. I hope that the local authorities in Palawan acknowledge these negative consequences, as they have the potential to tarnish the island's natural beauty. My desire is for Palawan to avoid becoming similar to certain Thai islands that have become overrun with clubs, bars, and establishments associated with prostitution, drugs, and sex.
Business owners will disagree with your comment. Foreigners who fell in love with Philippines (because not so touristy) and created business in the Philippines would wish there are more visitors.
@@japanese_flashcard_channel That is why I assert that tourism can have negative implications, particularly when there is an excess of visitors and inadequate measures to protect the environment. Business entities are often more concerned with financial gain than with environmental conservation or the potential negative consequences that may arise. Consider the case of Boracay, where the intervention of the country's former president was necessary to halt the island's operations and prevent its descent into chaos. Sadly, Boracay is no longer the idyllic paradise it once was due to the influx of commercial enterprises and the surge in tourism. The utilization of improper sewage systems by hotels and restaurants resulted in the direct discharge of waste into the ocean, where tourists were leisurely swimming. Similarly, in Thailand, certain islands have been closed and governmental intervention is underway to salvage the situation brought about by unregulated tourism, excessive infrastructure development, and the proliferation of prostitution activities.
@@dg1442 Is a mere 20, 50, or 100-unit environment fee truly sufficient in preserving our environment? We should heed the lessons from the case of Boracay, where this nominal fee failed to protect the island. Consider the renowned Thai islands that had to temporarily close due to excessive tourist-related waste. Despite their significant revenues, these islands encountered environmental degradation and the gradual destruction of their natural splendor. Must we endure a similar fate for our "Last Frontier", mirroring the dire situations faced by Boracay and Phi Phi islands? I encourage you to revisit this vlog where you'll witness them navigating the well-known Palawan lagoon while gathering a substantial amount of waste that is being disposed of in the sea. Thankfully, these conscientious travelers displayed care and empathy, which motivated them to collect the debris instead of disregarding it as it drifted by.
You siblings are raised by wonderful humans who both have a great worldview. That was such a great insight from your mom about cruise ships and the transient nature of that industry and their impact on the islands which is pretty much nothing. Keep it up. Hoping for your vlog success!
Dont worry about filming in PH just smile and people love it as long as your not a snob...keep pushing content, and be yourself and you will have more subs
Thank you, Tim, for such a great act of being responsible in taking care of our paradise. It is with so much hope that the authorities can get to watch your video so they can take action for irresponsible tourists. May everyone learn from you, and may your good deed be rewarded a hundredfold.
Thank you for bringing your family and helping keep the island clean by picking up trash. It's rare to see people like you who take responsibility for our environment.
Thank you for picking up the rubbish. Hopefully, tourists would keep their rubbish or have a heart to pick up rubbish. It would really help to preserve the Palawan waters.🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for taking rubbish off the water guys, and for leaving the place a wee bit cleaner when you left. I showed this video to some of my friends who are also Filipinos. We're very grateful. Kia Ora from NZ.

These people pay for environmental fee, looks like this could easily be a paid job for the locals to maintain
