I enjoyed the video. I do have one issue with some thing that was said though. I’ve lived in Dubai for over eight years now, and Dubai is not a sustainable city. Its structures are built without regard to the environment, and in a short period of time it has already outgrown its infrastructure.

It's not sustainable because it's originally a sea--Dubai. It's a reclamation, and thus, flooded. This is what Filipino environmentalists are warning about, the effect of creating lands out of sea or ocean. In the case of Manila reclamations, ( a grand city is gonna rise again) the reclaimed lands are the boundaries of the city of Manila which hasn't seen that much ill effect, since the 1960s? Or 70s when Manila seas were reclaimed and turned into Cultural Center of the Philippines, Folk Arts Theatre, and others. While, Dubai was a body of water in the middle of the ocean. The floods in Manila are caused by lack of drainage, and those are now being looked into.

Now that MegaWorld is acquiring contract for Urban Development overall progress will come in faster than anyone expected. As you mentioned earlier in this post IT WILL BE BORACAY 2.0.
Madadaanan mo talaga ang San Vicente from Puerto Princesa. Sikat lang talaga ang El Nido at ang Coron, kaya hindi napupuntahan ang San Vicente. The Ayala Group of Companies see the potential of San Vicente, kaya malaki ang investment nila in the long terms. Kaya nagtayo sila ng exclusive private airport and resorts. They're hoping more investments to capitalize San Vicente as a potential hub for Palawan. Local and Palawan government should strict, protect and implement proper designs, to make it modern at the same time aesthetic to the natural world of San Vicente, and Palawan's biodiversity. Palawan is a perfect island to invests in properties, land, hotels, resorts and logistics, kasi right next to the South China Sea lang siya, and can transport goods to and pro of Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
The thing that SV has going for it is the fact that it's not busy. Once it gets as busy as Boracay it will loose it's appeal. There are lots of places with many resorts and the Philippines doesn't need another one. If people go to Palawan, it's to El Nido for a few days of island hopping. SV is different - it's just a beach and very quiet, too quiet for most people. Putting a lot of resorts there won't attract a lot of people, as they already have El Nido, Bohol, Boracay. I hope that SV doesn't develop and loose it's appeal.
been there in San Vincente, but Palawan.. it's beautiful.. but the waves are extremely scary... it can carry you away.... I will still choose Borocay or Bohol...
Yeah thats true, san vicente has got some nice waves for surfers. 🏄 during summer time though its really calm. But yeah bora and bohol are on top of our list too! Always nice to go back when we can!
San Vicente and Nacpan beach in Palawan will be the next beach to go. Most of the beach front properties were already purchased by big Philippine Corporation. The new airport will soon have more airlines coming in. So this will be a tourist mecca.

We never have a chance to visit during on our visiting Palawan due to the severe weather we experienced. Nice video for capturing the beauty of San Vicente.
What's sad is that, in several years, that place is going to be inaccessible to a lot of travelers because of the overcommercialization that'll ensue. Boracay 2.0? Yikes.
Philippines is South East Asia, not Asia. But Palawan is perhaps the best island in the world. Although the amazing author Jens Peters (Lonely Planet) said his favourite Pi island was North Pandan island.
I lived there few months before covid and although the potential is huge, there are some political internal affairs...you know The Ph belongs to a few families and it has that tribal mentality some how amongst elite Filipinos. The lack of infrastructure, hardly wifi signal will be a big challenge. At that time the airport was operating twice a week to Pampanga. As far as I understood all the coastal area is already been bought and or is under ownership by the privilege ones. San Vicente is known for the long beach but to be fair the best white sand pristine beaches arent in long beach. Overall people are very friendly and the landscape is top notch, better than Puerto Princesa, El Nido and Port Barton The fact that in El Nido which is so touristic there is not reliable wifi makes me think that San Vicente may remain as beautiful and empty as I have known it. Walking along unbelievable beaches for kilometers alone was a very unique feeling....while in El Nido was completely packed
Thanks for the info. Yeah there is really something special with being alone with nature, especially miles long of beach front! Have the golden sunset all to yourself. Cheers!

Me and my wife we love the sunsets there and the white sand. Very clear water lalo na they worked on the sewage issue. But i think what separates boracay is the development also. Hindi kase lahat ng tao gusto magbeach na hilaw pa. Other like the conveniences of more options for dining. Alot of fancy resorts and bars, and some want to live there kase completo yung isla. @@DanielAlleje It is in a way 4x4 is A great transport because the highway are great wide but good luck finding parking cause El Nido is really tight But again fixing the road in the bridge would be nice if those key infrastructure Are crucial to a better economy and more investor in this land of Palawan would see more For example east side of Palawan that road is not completely fixed nor the bridges in there But hopefully They'll get to fix it And if they do that I'll call Palauan home
this is in palawan, just between el nido and puerto princesa. It has its own airport but currently there are some challenges with flight schedules but definitely this will get fixed in time.

Its a bit late for this tho, but i do hope they do a great job in preserving its natural beauty while involving the community by providing jobs for them and their families. Thank you for the comment 😊
Greedy politikos, rich businessmen, etc developed only for their own..nature friendly, clean and wholesome type of beach should be designed with cleanliness, waste mgt & balance ecosystem to be properly maintained also.
Oh god, not Megaworld, please. Not a good developer. We need eco friendly focused developers who care more about beauty and function rather than profit-focused tycoons who endlessly focus on making money. I'd rather have San Vicente untouched with no resorts 10,000,000x than have another developer ruin this other beautiful beach of ours.
the problem is every beach wants to be boracay, abused. the ideal plan here should be development towards not to become a resort filled destination. this should be more like a natural park destination, where the beach , local fauna and flora are preserved. once develpments come in this will become another highly developed beach resort where abuese and corruption happen.
i hope this time things will be different =) people from palawan know how to take care of their environment, ive noticed this during early morning on weekends, they have a clean up with children helping, it is quite amazing. hope that would help!! hehe
Sorry but I'm a Beach Nazi. The sand is not as white as Boracay. I prefer the whiter sand of Calaguas, and the island is almost devoid of any tourists, both local and foreign, during weekdays.
Please government do not touch this with hotels, condos and other shittt there is. Make this the last frontier of what beach should be. PLEASEEE!!! For the sake of the last Philippine generation to come. I was in Boracay, in my 20s on vacation, when there was no electricity and no other s....t that there is. I do not like what it is now--commercialized.
Long beach yes. But still not as pretty.as Boracay white beach. Be careful with travel vloggers ppl, they hook you in and inspire you to visit a place and once there - its full of BS. Their opinion is just that - opinion. There is a goos probability they are getting paid to promote an area. Be careful believing travel vloggers since they dont show the negative side of travelling to places with minimal facilities.
Boracay is indeed very special. Me and wife love the beach there too! it offers a different experience like more upscale dining options and also bars and other resort like services.
The appeal is everything! lets see what the future holds! cheers!
been there in San Vincente, but Palawan.. it's beautiful.. but the waves are extremely scary... it can carry you away....
I will still choose Borocay or Bohol...
Yeah thats true, san vicente has got some nice waves for surfers. 🏄 during summer time though its really calm. But yeah bora and bohol are on top of our list too! Always nice to go back when we can!
Yes maganda jan pati sa Barton.
Sinabi mo! 🍻
That's beautiful than Boracay...for me. 😍
San Vicente and Nacpan beach in Palawan will be the next beach to go. Most of the beach front properties were already purchased by big Philippine Corporation. The new airport will soon have more airlines coming in. So this will be a tourist mecca.
@@Timsbackpages thanks for the insights! Been to nacpan a few times and for sure this area will develop into a popular tourist spot, the beach is nice and the sunset scenery there is one of a kind!
car for rent yung kotse ginamit? or merong pang passenger van?
Car rental ito. We got it at puerto from Rey’s car rental. You can find them online. Weve been using them for a while now, sarap to have your own car in palawan kase daming spots na maganda and also places to eat in
Good if they follow the master plan. I can still recall the concentric grid they envisioned for BGC with parts of the intersections planned to go underground to avoid traffic. Look what happened.
Thats too bad. That would help a lot. Like the ones in makati. lets see what happens here 🤞🏽
Beautiful islands

14 KM is more than half of the length of entire edsa. Ang laki!
haha yeah! There’s a ton of beach spots in the area, thats why we fell in love with the area!
I heard about the rumors that the operator of Sofitel will build a 5-star hotel here, but I am not sure how true that is.
Interesting, thanks for the tip 🙏
Interesting, thanks for the tip 🙏
The sands are color black in San Vicente. Boracay is a fine white sand just like a glass hour sand. Never feel the heat even walking barefoot.
Exag naman, not naman black 🤣 grey lang. Yes boracay is amazing and the sand is cold even if its super sunny! ☀️
Wow 😮 👌 👏 😍 👍 ang ganda 🏝 ⛱️ 🏊♂️ ❤

So amazed with placrs beibg presented; but the most that amazed me and perhaps your audience was the highly technical far advance, well studied and planning of your presentation. We never have a chance to visit during on our visiting Palawan due to the severe weather we experienced. Nice video for capturing the beauty of San Vicente.
Salamat! maybe nextime?! Hehe
Enjoy your trips.
Salamat salamat
we now own nearly 2 hectares back from long beach san vicente
Wow thats awesome!
WOW That’s Awesome 👍👍👍👍👍💪👌✌️💕🙏
thank you thank you 🥰
You almost hate to see it brought up as it will surely become over crowded but I'm sure locals can use the business
True true 🍻
What's sad is that, in several years, that place is going to be inaccessible to a lot of travelers because of the overcommercialization that'll ensue. Boracay 2.0? Yikes.
hope not! =) thank you
Honestly sounded more like a commercial.
thanks i guess...
well...Hello Concrete Structures and Hotel Staff waiting for Tips!

Overall people are very friendly and the landscape is top notch, better than Puerto Princesa, El Nido and Port Barton
The fact that in El Nido which is so touristic there is not reliable wifi makes me think that San Vicente may remain as beautiful and empty as I have known it.
Walking along unbelievable beaches for kilometers alone was a very unique feeling....while in El Nido was completely packed
Thanks for the info. Yeah there is really something special with being alone with nature, especially miles long of beach front! Have the golden sunset all to yourself. Cheers!
How much is a rental car sir ?
I normally get it for 1500 but sometimes kaya sa 1300 if more than 5 days. Worth it to rent a car if pasok sa budget
@@DanielAlleje ty sir
San ka nakapag rent ng car sa Puerto princessa?
@@RomanMurallo yes sa puerto kase walang car rental sa san vicente. we need a car kase dami namin video equipment minsan and its hard to bring around kapag motor lang
Kasado na dw construction project ng megaworld jan. Goodbye serenity

Notice anything different? 😁
maraming gaya nyan na mas maganda na beach pa sa boracay, what do you think that seperates boracay?
Me and my wife we love the sunsets there and the white sand. Very clear water lalo na they worked on the sewage issue. But i think what separates boracay is the development also. Hindi kase lahat ng tao gusto magbeach na hilaw pa. Other like the conveniences of more options for dining. Alot of fancy resorts and bars, and some want to live there kase completo yung isla. So yeah i think thats one of the strengths of bora, but im sure there’s a lot more pa
@@DanielAlleje Fair enough, i think the night life really counts a lot. lame pag walang action sa gbi knowing that vacationers are almost on a different generation now.

I was here a long time ago and it is better to stop trying to make it the next Borocay!! Why do you need to ruin such beautiful places exploiting it on youtube. Leave it alone!!!
Sorry na!! 🫶🏻
It's good it's beautiful it's nice but if you want more investor on this land fix the damn road You got a great key infrastructure but your road must be fixed also that's how you build a git community more income to come More business money flow would be great if you fix your road especially the bridges
🤣 its a work in progress but its happening naman whenever we go back there things are moving. For now, 4x4 vehicles are the best mode of transpo
@@jayj504 lets wait and see 😁
Where is San Vicente?
this is in palawan, just between el nido and puerto princesa. It has its own airport but currently there are some challenges with flight schedules but definitely this will get fixed in time.
Unfortunately by the record we don’t balance nature and development. With tourist there’s trash. Recycling plant should come in first.
Sana they do it here! 🫶🏻
Dapat pagplanuhan ng mabuti ng gobyerno kung paano ide developed yan ng hindi maging polluted at karambola ang itsura pag naging crowded na. Sana maging mala BGC ang itusra nyan na may white paradise beach.
No airport with direct flights in this area. I will not risk a 5 hr land trip. That's too nauseous for me already
There is a direct flight there actually, ive ridden it a few times. So convenient. However, rumor is that the airline will close its flights there bec of the lack of tourists. Hehe. But there are a couple of plans for a bigger carrier to come in but they are waiting for megaworld to complete some of their towers. Looks promising really
i hope they gonna preserved the nature, not like those greedy miners
🤞🤞🏼🤞🏿🤞🏾🤞🏽🫶🏻
Easier to get to than Boracay
thats another reason why its awesome!
Fact: Palawan is only good for Island hopping, But it has no white sand beach like Bantayan, Boracay and Panglao
Salamat sa iyong opinion 👍🏻
Sorry, I will have to disagree about Dubai. No sewage system and the number of cars in that city, it is definitely not a green city.
Big developers surely will ruin the place😢.
🤞🏻
It isn’t Boracay. Boracay’s white sand is unparalleled. Fun facts- Boracay had a master plan. Panglao had a master plan. All unimplemented.
Yeah boracay is boracay 👌 i liked somebody’s comment that it could be like da nang in vietnam. Never been but i looked it up hehe. Bawal highrise in sam vicente so thats good. Thanks for the fun fact. Lets see how this one plays out. Baka recent times will be different with the existence of social media and a lot of netizens being so proactive online 🍻
Lets not destroy san vicente!!! Please show us the master plan
@@RaymondBajarias hopefully i will have time to make a video about this. I did read the entire master plan and it was like 300 pages if im not mistaken. Buti madami din pictures 🤣
SG? kanila na ang greencity ang init-init naman sa kagagawan nila
😁
Dapat maayos narin kalsada kundi magsiksikan na naman mga sasakyan sa maliit na kalsada.
Haha totoo. Naayos na nila dito ito. Mahigpit sila sa setback kapag may bagong construction na hotel or regular na bahay. So far so good naman
Its a promising prospect...but lets hope the failure in Boracay's system wont happen in San Vicente... Too much urban development will destroy it Pristine beauty.

🫶🏻
Oh god, not Megaworld, please. Not a good developer. We need eco friendly focused developers who care more about beauty and function rather than profit-focused tycoons who endlessly focus on making money. I'd rather have San Vicente untouched with no resorts 10,000,000x than have another developer ruin this other beautiful beach of ours.
you lost at BGC and Dubai being green, sustainable, and easily accessible cities. There's nothing green about those places

the problem is every beach wants to be boracay, abused. the ideal plan here should be development towards not to become a resort filled destination. this should be more like a natural park destination, where the beach , local fauna and flora are preserved. once develpments come in this will become another highly developed beach resort where abuese and corruption happen.
i hope this time things will be different =) people from palawan know how to take care of their environment, ive noticed this during early morning on weekends, they have a clean up with children helping, it is quite amazing. hope that would help!! hehe
Very far
sorry to hear that.

I doubt that "sustainable eco-friendly" whatever. Anything human touches destined to perish.
I hope that’s not true 😅
Sorry but I'm a Beach Nazi. The sand is not as white as Boracay. I prefer the whiter sand of Calaguas, and the island is almost devoid of any tourists, both local and foreign, during weekdays.
Haha all good! Whatever makes you happy is important. Boracay is really different! Hard to beat the white sand there.

Palawan has its own beauty as well. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so tama naman, be careful on what you see on the internet hehe. thanks for the helpful comment. Cheers 🥂
I pray you are wrong, you know darn well devlopement will ruin the area

Stop calling it Boracay 2.0 PLEASE!
This is so backward. Boracay of the North, Greece of the Philippines, etc. and other copycat names others use for their destinations. That’s so copycat mentality, devoid of confidence and originality.
