I feel it's only fair now to turn the tables and let the ladies take the lead; specifically the endless line of talented Asian acts! I was able to attend LOVEBITES very first concert played in the USA back in September. I am in awe of these super ladies!

Lovebites fans (Wolfpack) contain true music lovers both male and female. Midori/blond is the Amazon Queen of shredding and many women are drawn to her. A bodybuilder and very athletic she is the polar opposite of Miyako/dark hair who is a classical trained pianist who self taught the guitar at 18. This band is insanely talented and while all petite they wear their femininity proudly in gowns and heels but turn into metal goddesses once they hit the stage. One of the best bands, especially LIVE, to ever perform. They never disappoint and always surprise so welcome to the rabbit-hole!!!!!!
It's a natural progression Angelina - Band-Maid is one of the Best Hard Rock bands in Japan, and Lovebites is one of the best Heavy Metal bands in Japan. I don't see much Metal in your catalogue, but you seemed to enjoy the musicianship, and Lovebites is kind of a Super Band in that regard (like Band-Maid). Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in the band DESTROSE that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. Miho is a big fan of Steve Harris, bass player with Iron Maiden and is influenced by his playing style. She left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects. Any Lovebites video recorded in 2021 or earlier, the bassist will be Miho (ESP Bass), any from 2022 or later, it is Fami (Bacchus Bass, usually a 5 string) This video is from a concert, the first of 2 over 2 nights, in March 2023 that was Lovebites 'come back' following a hiatus of about 18 months due to Miho leaving the band, 2 members, Asami and Miyako having babies, and the general situation with Covid. It was first time on stage with the band for new bassist, 20 year old Fami, (red 5 string Bass) and her first time in front of an audience of this size. Hammer Of Wrath was the opening song of a 2 hour concert. The present members are, Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker. Midori, (Midori Tatematsu) ESP Guitars. The blond 'Amazon Warrior'. Before Lovebites a member of all female band GEKIJO METALICCHE. Miyako, ( Watanabe Miyako, also has used the name Mi Ya) Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. The 'serious' one with long black hair. Before Lovebites a member of the bands DROP OF JOKER, 21g and SONIC LOVER RECKLESS. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She recently posted a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcribed and played on piano as though they are classical works. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman. Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos. Fami, Bacchus Bass. Recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was in her teens. Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, (although they are all short and petite) who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been in Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long. She uses a double kick bass pedal at unbelievable speed. All members of the band can play piano/keyboards. They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023. I am a woman of 66 and have fallen in love with this band immediately since I heard them for the first time. So did several of my female friends with whom I watched videos like this one together. Therefore I think if Lovebites becomes better known to women all over the world the band very soon will have as much female fans as male ones admiring their gorgeous music and outstanding talent. The fact that they are beautiful nicely dressed women is only a bonus. In my opinion Lovebites is one of the best todays metal bands worldwide and my personal No. 2 of all metal bands (Nightwish is still my No. 1).
About the same with me: Decades-long Iron Maiden fan, die-hard. They just stirr my soul. I was already concerned who might follow them, then (like an outworldly response) LOVEBITES appeared. I was in disbelief during their first 3 songs. After their 4th "I was sold". 😂 Iron Maiden and LOVEBITES now share the 1st place on my Metal playlist. 😁 B.t.w.: 2 thirds of my Metal playlist have "turned" Japanese by now (LOVEBITES, Nemophila, Hanabie, Hágane). 😂 I would never have thought that years ago. Oh yes, I'm definitely one of them and it feels like a second HEAVY METAL SPRING LOVEBITES are one of the biggest surprises in my life as a music freak and I listen to many styles of music. Almost 40 years later their albums are in my record collection after those of the Japanese heavy metal band LOUDNESS "1985 - Thunder in the East / 1986 - Lightning Strikes", unbelievable ! Of course, like many others, I wish that more people of the younger generations would discover this band and love them, it is important for the future of HEAVY METAL 👍 When I went to a LOVEBITES concert (Lindau, Germany), there were two female teenagers in front of the stage on Midori's side, Asami greeted them with her Lovebites handshake like a "bite", Midori also gave them her affection and Fami big smile's. I was able to attend LOVEBITES very first concert played in the USA back in September. I am in awe of these super ladies!

Lovebites fans (Wolfpack) contain true music lovers both male and female. Midori/blond is the Amazon Queen of shredding and many women are drawn to her. A bodybuilder and very athletic she is the polar opposite of Miyako/dark hair who is a classical trained pianist who self taught the guitar at 18. This band is insanely talented and while all petite they wear their femininity proudly in gowns and heels but turn into metal goddesses once they hit the stage. It's a natural progression Angelina - Band-Maid is one of the Best Hard Rock bands in Japan, and Lovebites is one of the best Heavy Metal bands in Japan. Welcome to Lovebites, the Wolfpack 🐺 Lovebites fans around the world, will be along to give you information and recommendations.
Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in the band DESTROSE that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. Miho is a big fan of Steve Harris, bass player with Iron Maiden and is influenced by his playing style. She left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects.
Any Lovebites video recorded in 2021 or earlier, the bassist will be Miho (ESP Bass), any from 2022 or later, it is Fami (Bacchus Bass, usually a 5 string)
This video is from a concert, the first of 2 over 2 nights, in March 2023 that was Lovebites 'come back' following a hiatus of about 18 months due to Miho leaving the band, 2 members, Asami and Miyako having babies, and the general situation with Covid. It was first time on stage with the band for new bassist, 20 year old Fami, (red 5 string Bass) and her first time in front of an audience of this size. Hammer Of Wrath was the opening song of a 2 hour concert.
The present members are,
Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker.
Midori, (Midori Tatematsu) ESP Guitars. The blond 'Amazon Warrior'. Before Lovebites a member of all female band GEKIJO METALICCHE.
Miyako, ( Watanabe Miyako, also has used the name Mi Ya) Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. The 'serious' one with long black hair. Before Lovebites a member of the bands DROP OF JOKER, 21g and SONIC LOVER RECKLESS. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She recently posted a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcribed and played on piano as though they are classical works. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman.
Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos.
Fami, Bacchus Bass. Recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was in her teens.
Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, (although they are all short and petite) who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been in Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long. She uses a double kick bass pedal at unbelievable speed.
All members of the band can play piano/keyboards.
They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023.

I am a woman of 66 and have fallen in love with this band immediately since I heard them for the first time. So did several of my female friends with whom I watched videos like this one together. Therefore I think if Lovebites becomes better known to women all over the world the band very soon will have as much female fans as male ones admiring their gorgeous music and outstanding talent. The fact that they are beautiful nicely dressed women is only a bonus. In my opinion Lovebites is one of the best todays metal bands worldwide and my personal No. 2 of all metal bands (Nightwish is still my No. 1).
About the same with me: Decades-long Iron Maiden fan, die-hard. They just stirr my soul. I was already concerned who might follow them, then (like an outworldly response) LOVEBITES appeared. I was in disbelief during their first 3 songs. After their 4th "I was sold". 😂 Iron Maiden and LOVEBITES now share the 1st place on my Metal playlist. 😁

LOVEBITES are one of the biggest surprises in my life as a music freak and I listen to many styles of music.
Almost 40 years later their albums are in my record collection after those of the Japanese heavy metal band LOUDNESS "1985 - Thunder in the East / 1986 - Lightning Strikes", unbelievable !
Of course, like many others, I wish that more people of the younger generations would discover this band and love them, it is important for the future of HEAVY METAL 👍
When I went to a LOVEBITES concert (Lindau, Germany), there were two female teenagers in front of the stage on Midori's side, Asami greeted them with her Lovebites handshake like a "bite", Midori also gave them her affection and Fami big smile's. Lovebites carries the sound (in their own unique way) of amazing bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, and many more.
The music is fantastic but for me the lyrics are very important and bring home many themes that are close to my heart. Themes like Truth, Justice, Peace, Love, Honor, Dignity, Legacy, Pride, Respect, Esteem, Self-Worth, Self-Care, Victory, Triumph, Valor, Moral-Compass, Courage, Integrity, Unity, Brotherhood, Sisterhood, Compassion Grace, Perseverance, Resilience, Hope and Freedom.
