I for one am intrigued at the a little spin on the dynamic Varus has with Valmar and Kai in this skin. Instead of Varus hiding in the bow to be found by V and K, it's somewhat the other way around; Val and Kai are the ones who end up in the bow.

The more I see of this skinline the more I feel like it was a bad idea. The high contrast neon splashes of color is a nice visual idea but doesn't seem at all suited to a game like League of Legends, where the character takes up such a small amount of the screen. The skin line makes for some incredible art but doesn't have the room in game to really show off that same appeal, since they're too small for the contrast to really have any impact. Even skins that do it well like this one does feel muted to me.

I think Kayle, Lux, and Pyke’s are decent too. The splash art doesn’t do Kayle justice but she’s gorgeous in game, Lux’s voice lines take on a cool distortion that prevents me from getting as annoyed when she speaks, and Pyke’s is like his art come to life

NGL these shorts talking about character skin high & lows were fun. Talking about every installment in a line of skins though? Tiring and feels like Skyen is running out of LoL materia, and/or trying to avoid making more installments in other shorts series.
We get it Empyrean skins all look similar, most characters don’t look great in them, and a few use the colors in interesting ways. Do we really need more of these shorts? They are getting more repetitive than the Empyrean line itself…
