Just finished reading the haunting Adeline part 1, It has Dual pov, it is dark with child abuse and human trafficking. But also a love story of a stalker and a writer. and little fun parts, There are some creepy scenes. If you're under 18 don't read it.

So from their circumstances, it is obvious. They were born and brought up in different countries, environments, and personality is different from others. We should respect the author at least.
I think they are. I first read King of Wrath by the same author and I loved it. Then read Twisted Lies, Games & Hate (all in random order😂) but the series is good. Hella repetitive tropes. Almost 75% of the overall storyline in all characters and couple journey is similar but you will still enjoy it.
There are scenes of abuse and sexual assault multiple times throughout the book. Another thing that could be bad is at certain times it can be a little bit predictable, but almost every romance novel is. Otherwise, it is a great read.
Honest Review - I read on Kindle and in 2 hours, I saw the progress and it was half done. I then realised I was skimming through the paras without reading the whole para because the vocabulary sucks and my mind used to automatically understand what the para was conveying without having to properly read it. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is the words used are repetitive, so are the situation surrounding the MCs. It's cliched. I found nothing likeable about the Male Lead. These were the male characters we used to read in 2000s. Had there been no progress at all about how male characters are portrayed in spicy fiction ?! This novel will make you believe so. I couldn't complete the novel.
