If ur concern is intimacy it's not that bad. I thought the same thing I wanted to read it but thought it might have too many scenes and just not be age appropriate but it's really not that bad like it's has a few scenes but not as many as I expected. I've read ugly love and it's no way near as sexual as that.
I just know I'm going to end up buying all 4 books at once instead of doing the responsible thing and just getting the first book and seeing how I feel about it first. They just look so pretty together. Also in case you haven't read the new book King of Wrath, I saw a review of it which said that if you loved Twisted Lies then you'll most likely love it. here's my unsolicited thoughts on the twisted series: - Alex is way too possesive. its toxic asf. him stalking Ava and not letting her breathe in London might as well just be as bad as Liam, Ava's ex. still love them though, since its fictional and not irl. - BRIDGET AND RHYS ARE SO FUCKING AMAZING. however age gaps just give me the ick. 10 years? it would be okay if they started off at 30 n 40, but 22 and 32? well they grew over time so oh well (also the scene at bridgets brothers wedding? i got traumatized for days afterwards. it is not for the faint of heart.) - jules and josh are hands down, the best couple. so im asian, and i feel like ana missed it a bit with Ava, even though shes a poc. however for Josh, she nailed it perfectly. the parental dilemmas, the way he always doubts himself, its just so realistic. also hes a bit unkind in bed, the consent in all three of these books was very very blur which i didnt like, but since it's fiction... - havent read the last book yet. im excited though!

I completely agree with all your points! Alex being super overprotective/possessive was making the book a bit unenjoyable for me. Also can we talk about the fact that Rhys and Bridget are technically cousins??? They were my favorite couple until then.

i LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE Ana Huang and her books!!! It's so sweet how all of the guys in the series soften when they're with their partners. Twisted Lies and King of Wrath are my favorite books by her!!
Christian & Stella are my favourite Twisted couple❤ I just love their story so much. Twisted lies has my heart, loved the lead characters and the interesting chemistry between them. Ana is an awesome author!

I am halfway through with book 2 and I am really enjoying it. I read twisted love and loved the first half, but then i was sad that she forgave him…. Kinda was hoping tho have a woman empowering story, and their relationship was northerlies abusive, so was kinda disappointed about that. It´s just another romance where they end up together, but the story itself is really good :)

I one hundred percent recommend. Many people say that its boring and not interesting, but it is one of the best books i have ever read and it is sooo underrated. If you dont want anything sexual you can just google the chapters where they do sexual content and skip them. And its the opposite of boring because in every book there is a plot twist which makes me more interested and hyped in reading it. So if you are debating on reading it, this is your sign because I highly recommend it.

noo don’t waste your money on twisted love. first off it costs $25+ for a soft cover and it’s only around 300 pages. the book itself was terrible, i dont know how anyone tolerated alex. He acted unrealistic and gave me the “ick” / cringe, he literally treated girls like a dog in bed, the book gets hard to understand during the end when the author kept dragging out what was considered a plot twist.

I just finished reading twisted love and I absolutely adored it up until the rushed last few chapters and epilogue. I don't really feel compelled to read the rest of the series as I'm not usually a romance reader but may come back to it!
This series is everything to me❤!! I read twisted love & games in two days because i could not put them away 😂! That usually never happens to me😊. AND they left me screaming in my pillow because i was so in love with the men in these books😂
if you liked these books, you should read king of wrath by ana huang. it has a forced relationship trope centering vivian lau and dante russo and is the first book in the kings of sin series. the 2nd book in this series, king of pride, will be out by late April. the 2nd book centers around vivians friend Isabella and dantes friend kai and i am soo ready fr it. i mean, the way kai and is a were looking at each other by the end of the 1st book makes me sure that this'll be epic.
OMG!! i just realised the christian and stella also make an appearance in king of wrath! and there's a part in twisted lies in which Christian and stella interact with dante and vivian!

I'm reading this series now, but out of order lol. I actually read King of Wrath a couple of weeks ago and loved it. Then spotted this series when I was at the bookstore, noticed it was the same author and wanted to give it a go. I agree Twisted Love felt rushed. They didn't have book 2 so I'm reading Twisted Hate right now. I don't think it's the end of the world if they're read out of order (I think I read somewhere the author said they could be treated as stand alone?) enjoying them so far. But I have to say, King of Wrath is still my winner at this point..
currently read the first 2 books; didn't like twisted love at all, the male protagonist was very non-likeable, the female protagonist is very blant and the story is all over the place. twisted games is the opposite, very solid well written characters, the introspective narration is way better, deeper and detailed, the chemistry between the characters TOP NOTCH and the story is very well done. can't wait to read twisted lies, Christian has appeared in the king of sins series too and I'm very curious about his story!

This series is everything to me❤!! I read twisted love & games in two days because i could not put them away 😂! That usually never happens to me😊. AND they left me screaming in my pillow because i was so in love with the men in these books😂
if you liked these books, you should read king of wrath by ana huang. it has a forced relationship trope centering vivian lau and dante russo and is the first book in the kings of sin series.
the 2nd book in this series, king of pride, will be out by late April. the 2nd book centers around vivians friend Isabella and dantes friend kai and i am soo ready fr it. i mean, the way kai and is a were looking at each other by the end of the 1st book makes me sure that this'll be epic.
OMG!! i just realised the christian and stella also make an appearance in king of wrath! and there's a part in twisted lies in which Christian and stella interact with dante and vivian!

I'm reading this series now, but out of order lol. I actually read King of Wrath a couple of weeks ago and loved it. Then spotted this series when I was at the bookstore, noticed it was the same author and wanted to give it a go. I agree Twisted Love felt rushed. They didn't have book 2 so I'm reading Twisted Hate right now. I don't think it's the end of the world if they're read out of order (I think I read somewhere the author said they could be treated as stand alone?) enjoying them so far. But I have to say, King of Wrath is still my winner at this point..
I have read all the books excepttwisted lies but am already obbsessed with twisted lies😅 i will start reading soon!!

currently read the first 2 books; didn't like twisted love at all, the male protagonist was very non-likeable, the female protagonist is very blant and the story is all over the place. twisted games is the opposite, very solid well written characters, the introspective narration is way better, deeper and detailed, the chemistry between the characters TOP NOTCH and the story is very well done. can't wait to read twisted lies, Christian has appeared in the king of sins series too and I'm very curious about his story!
