I am just having a ball with your versions of hyprland. I was very impressed installing dotfiles 2.4 on ArcoLinux and only made minor changes to your files. Today, I installed your starter script on EndeavousOS but didn't care to make any changes to this base installation (which worked fine out of the box). Instead, I installed dotfiles 2.4 and that worked flawlessly on EndeavourOS. Thanks again for your impressive work!

Excellent. Thank you so much. I understand that the config must then be adjusted to look like the original. Humble suggestion: It would help a lot to those of us who don't have as much experience making those adjustments if you did a follow up and show us how you can get it to be the same as the one you use in the original GUI elements, etc.

Thanks Stephan. I gave this the "ol college try" on my hp notebook and I came up with a blank screen. I dont think it likes me dumbing the screen resolution from native down to 2560x1440. Hyprland is still in infancy and I will do my reading to see if theres an alternative to correct it. All of your other instructional videos have worked flawlessly on other hardware and i am grateful to you! Thank you!

Stephan, I did as you suggested and I had a black screen with a mouse pointer. I pressed mod+enter and got an external open so that much worked. I guess for some reason, waybar is not starting up. I have not tried your procedure again. Maybe this is something I need to do. Thank you!

Hi. Thanks for your feedback. There are several distros out with dedicated tiling window manager as default desktop. What I like is that the setup fits 100% to my requirements and I can learn every day something new. With my dotfiles on gitlab I can easily inst the same setup on all of my devices. Not sure if an own distro is required by today.

However, I have a problem with switching to nvidia GPU (I have a laptop with hybrid graphics) - I've installed nvidia driver and tried to switch to gpu with envycontrol but with no result. I've also switched to hyprland-nvidia (still no result) and I'm not able to modify config files as described on hyprland wiki because EOS uses dracut instead of mknitcpio. Could you help me? Hey man, a complete noob here. I installed Arch, Hyprland, and your dotfiles and everything works almost perfectly, so, can you please explain to us noobs how to enable or disable some modules in the Waybar, for example, I don't have Bluetooth on my desktop and it reads "no-controller" so it covers the "hard disk" module somewhat and it's ugly. Also, I'd like to enable the "keyboard" module for example. I managed to change some stuff like resolution, scaling, resize the borders, gaps and change blur but I can't for the life of me understand how to manipulate those Waybar modules. Any help is appreciated. By the way, these are the most beautiful dotfiles I found on YT. Thanks for sharing this. (I tried JaKooLit's dotfiles, his Waybar is great but theming looks outdated.)
