@@DunceCapSyndrome Well if we gonna be 100% accurate indigenous name of Balkan's peninsula is Helm,or Hum,so yeah Balkan is just a turkish name for it,and Ilyricum was the name of the roman province while their empire lasted in these areas..
Just in case people didn’t already know, there are two versions of the 229 BC campaign for Rome 2; the ‘paced campaign’ version being the comprehensive overhaul style, and the other simply referred as ‘229 BC’ being a ‘Lite’ version that still provides the revised startpos without the script changes. Might be helpful for people running other script mods that want to try this if avoiding conflicts!
After i watched the series Shogun, I immediately played the mod Sekigahara campaign and it was really a good mod, and yes it's definitely compatible with strongholds mod and the 10th anniversary mod.
Along with Sekigahara, the mod 'Tenka Fubu' is a really good one set in I think 1583 (like with Morning Sun but w/o mainland East Asia) during the rise of Toyotomi (Hashiba clan). Also take a look at *Attila's* 'The Last Persian' mod when you can.
I wish Sekigahara had more provinces and Turns. Cause things start to conclude reeeeaaallly fast. It feels really rushed so I just wish that someone could mix it with the mod that adds more provinces. It would also fix a few historical issues such as the fact that the Tokugawa DONT OWN EDO. I also wish clans like the Ii or Honda were vassals rather than allies.
I wish there was a overhaul mod where Rome was a kingdom and that they have hoplites as their armies, until they get to the manipula reforms and then polybian and then the marian reforms all the way to the fall of the empire. That would be the best for me.
do you know any mod for shogun - samurai period ( Not mods for shogun 2, but mods for others like rome 2, Attila,.. ), i knew one in attila (maybe) but i forgot it's name ?, tks
What was that siege battle map that wasn't Strongholds may or was it part of the Sekigahara mod ps. I'm looking for new siege maps that replace them in Shogun 2 since I've played the strongholds for so long
This literally looks like Ancient Empires 2 in every possible way, something is wrong or the video is missing some important information. By the way, if this is just Ancient Empires 2, then saying to play only Rome is strange, the mod is playable with many factions, although unfortunately imo it is broken in several respects (if not, it could even be better than DeI)
The footage is on Chapter 1 which uses AE as a base, other chapters are standalone and a few others use Anno Domini mods for unit skins etc so its a mix and match series all with permissions :)
The Ancient Empires team disbanded, and allowed others to use a lot of their stuff to make these chapter packs, and Classic Empires, and a number of others.
with the release of AC shadow later this year, it make me jump back to S2 and give it a chance. With MoSS, music + portrait replacement, so far so good. If only S2 have drag and drop control like R2 onward, damn shame
Hey Terminator. Does the Roman Era mod for Rome II also covers the period of the period of the Second Mithridatic War/Sulla Civil War. I really would like a campaign in that period but I'm one of the few people who don't like DEI.

Random question, but i am playing med warfare in attila total war as England, for somme reason al of europe just hates me i can't make peace and i am defending every turn. All smal and big countrys just comme and comme with full armys, its insane...

France attacked me we have a ware, then random portugal decides to attack me then holly roman empire and al it smallel vassal states witch aslo have a meaty army and each turn the have another one ready. I can't keep up.
Please CA make a new historical game so poor Terminator can stop making Mod videos and that is not a dig at the mods, the modding community has kept this franchise alive.
Bubinni. I called him out and challenged him to a 1v1 and he declined straight away because he was scared to be completely annihilated by me Infront of his stream, regardless... You should try and duel him but doubt he would accept. He even butchers the pronunciation of hoplites
I am just so tired of CA being so unable to release a good old classic TW. Releasing just 1 good classic TW again would save all their current troubles. Are they so blind?
Let's be real here, despite all the mods S2TW is still far from historically accurate. Mounted archers, naginata ashigaru and samurai units and no matter where you fight on the campaign map the battle map's terrain is always relatively flat? 😅

there is also a new mod for three kingdom that add a few region to the map ( parts of the desert near mongolia and himalaya and also korea)

So you just want better military reforms and an earlier campaign start?
But there is. Did you ever play Divide et Imepera? Your Rome literally starts as JUST HOPLITES Until the event of reform, and you research it.
Same goes for Greek factions for example, they need the reform for Thorox.

The era chapter mods are very unfinished and I dont think that one modder can finish all of them on his own.
