Remember, I'm always talking about my 2004 AWD Astro Van that is no longer AWD, it's now a 4x4, so I may not be able to help you with your older Astro or Safari...

I know this is a couple years old and hopefully you still look at the comments, but does your friend with the unicorn astro have a channel? I have an 03 safari cargo with those options

Ask for Mike he has a ball joint spacer that will give your front end another 2 inch lift
don't need it - already done and dialed in
Ive had 3 different gens and they all differed in some way " suspension, maf censor and so on!!

Well, I'm no mechanic, I'm just mechanically inclined - I can figure things and and see how to make them better is all... Not everyone would need airbags after the s10 spring upgrade, I used them because I load the van with tools which can make the van sit unevenly a bit so I use them to level out the van and keep it sitting "level" front to back as well (lift any rear end sag out of it)
Hi mike , did u buy the leaf springs new or used? If used did u use the same year of your van?
used - they came of a '98 s10 - I had new bushings pressed into them, as well
@@AstroVanTribe my astro is a 2004 also , In the video u said there was a lot of squeaking coming from the springs , was that the bushings u replaced?
@@Prostyletruck I don't know, I found greasable shackle bolts which seemed to have helped
@@AstroVanTribe ok kool, I definitely need heavy duty springs not sure if they save them in da junk yards in my town , by the way 2004 is a great for Astros I’ll never sell my van

I don't see why not - You just have to figure out how to get the front end up to match it
