    I had this done it’s so painful

    • @Atlii
      @Atlii  2 месяца назад

      Painful in very few if the Interventional Radiologist has a dedicated pain protocol in place prior to procedure. That’s one of many reasons why it’s important to go to an experienced Interventional Radiologist. Learn more at ATLii.com

    How long does it take for fibroids to shrink after UFE

    • @Atlii
      @Atlii  8 месяцев назад

      Death of the fibroids occurs immediately but it takes time (days-weeks) to soften and shrink which will result in the symptom improvement. We see patients in follow up at 3 months and they should be at least significantly better (if not completely so) by then. Learn more at ATLii.com. Good luck

      I am over a year out now and I can’t feel them where I once did. Not sure how long it took. But the pain and heavy bleeding stopped immediately. My very next menstrual after UFE was so light I can use panty liners for my cycle now. ❤️

    Can I do this use and get pregnant?

    • @Atlii
      @Atlii  2 месяца назад

      The simple answer is yes. Your chance of a successful birth is every bit as good after UFE as with surgical myomectomy. Our births after UFE have typically been full term and vaginal, whereas afrer myomectomy you would need a c-section if you get pregnant and deliver. Learn more at ATLii.com

    How long a person bleed after uae

    • @Atlii
      @Atlii  7 месяцев назад

      We wouldn’t expect any bleeding after UAE. The first period that a patient gets afrer UAE is typically lighter and continues to lighten over the next several cycles. Learn more at ATLii.com

    Okay it's fine but

      Yes. UFE is a tremendous procedure for women suffering with fibroids who do not want to undergo surgery. It provides them the relief they're looking for, while avoiding the significant risks and long recovery of surgery, and they're able to keep their uterus !
