- TRUE SIGHT is a documentary series that takes you behind the scenes of the journeys of professional Dota 2 teams. This episode follows OG and Team Liquid through the Grand Finals at The International 2019 in Shanghai.
On Tuesday, January 28th at 7:00 p.m. CET, tune in live on SteamTV and Twitch for the World Premiere from Berlin. The episode will be available on RUclips at the conclusion of the live event that night.

LazyMuff1N if that game 4 continues OG can basically Fountain Farm, Abbadon and IO+Gyro are one of the best candidate of Fountain Farming, and also they can restore hp so fast and a bonus of Timbersaw
OG wasn’t a turtling team in 2018. They fought whenever they had the advantage even when they late-game carries.
OG 2019 was just more efficient in their team fighting and was more fearless.

I think having that new sports psychologist with them have been huge. I've noticed, that they would often lose first game, then role over the enemy. But it's so easy to mentally think that if you lose the first, you are now already behind, but in reality, a losing game, shouldn't have an impact on how your next game is played. But it's just so important that the entire team believes it. And that's where I think their mentally has changed the most.
They are by far the most dangerous team after having lost a game. And that's a huge difference. So many teams just crumble if that happens to them.

Seeing my boys like this hurt me. First time we saw MC like that. I thought he was just having a bad laning phase because of how OG approaches him in ganks, turns out he's struggling mentally.

OG broke the shit outta them. They really figured out how Kuro's team worked on games in that meta. This is why the update is a good thing. Its a restart to all strategies the teams has. Now its just a race on who figures what strategies.
One of OG's strength is Ceb, the Dota Nerd. He already say it "They got nothing on us"
For me, what makes best dota team is : every player must be as unique as possible.
Downfall of Liquid is : they decide to throw Matu and replace it with w33. Seriously, w33 just a mirror of Miracle himself. Almost no different things between them. Dota isn't RPG game who heavily point at highest stats.

Perfectly reflects what one of the players (either Ana or Ceb) said about the finals. TI8 felt like everything fell into place just right. TI9 they felt like actual champions.

For me, the 'mistake' from liquid was forcing pick TA + Tide in 2 game.

He's a world class captain that has a clear authority and leadership in his team. To see him just as clueless as his teammates is pretty depressing.
It's pretty normal in a competitive game, tier 1 or 3 or tier what the fuck. It's every grand final of every Competition ever. Remember they fought two teams that day LGD before OG. All I want to say is they are tired and depressed.

Because you've seen the dominance of this roster in the lower bracket this TI9. The boys just breezed through the lower bracket and the only people who gave them a loss is LGD in the run. Hats off to OG for breaking the meta, liquid knows how OG will draft and play this, and halfway through the game they just got mind fucked.
Ikr...I am a hardcore liquid (now Nigma, wtf at the name btw) fan, but OG just went next level and deserved the win. I think if Kuro and the boys had just a little more time to rest and analyze, they could have beaten them. But..they were exhausted coming up from the lower bracket and also had insufficient time to prep, whereas OG had plenty of rest and time to watch Liquids games. Unlike TI7 when Liquid went next level and was just rolling everyone towards the end, this time they were playing with skill and conscious effort. Another way of saying it, at TI7 they were in the zone. This time, they were running on pure skill and experience - that's why OG won - they managed to get into the zone and break into the next level. When you're at the skill level of these two teams, that's what makes the difference. And that's why secret can't win TI because puppey and his boys have never got into the zone. But after these recent roster changes I think they have a better chance

They can pick the exact same hero lineup two or three times in a row and play a completely different strat with it--it's near impossible to prepare against a team like that even with all the time in the world, specially in a best of five series. No team would have won against them at TI9--they just had that particular Dota 2 patch figured out.

1. Liquid confused what OG Hero should they ban, because we know, even with meme Strat, OG being OP.
2. Liquid, especially W33 has low Hero pool, WR, TA, Meepo, Injoker, repeat.
3. OG succesfully counter Miracle- play style.
4. JeraX play very well.
5. Topson skill and experience improved. You know, TI8 Topson really look amateur.
6. Ceb, best motivator in E-sport.

Why can't we all agree that both teams are incredibly talented and amazing at that. Why can't we agree that despite all the competition, both these teams have made excellent runs although in a different perspective. Liquid made an amazing lower bracket run so I commend them for their astonishing perseverance. OG's strats and teamwork are world class and simply were the better team and I commend them as well. Why not that? Ha? Why is it so satisfying to flame one and worship the other? Why not appreciate them for playing the game they love the most.. damn the negativity from the community
thats just how sport community works? some just enjoy the game they are providing, some hate teams that beat their favourite, and some even mocks the opposing team like they are the worst team ever lived in earth. I was and still am a big fan of the old Na'Vi line-up (Puppey, Dendi, XBOCT, LightOfHeaven, ArtStyle) and new itterations who bought in ArsART, also Kuro and Funn1k. The held the spot for the best dota team to ever play the international for years being able to go on 3 back to back grand finals and win 1. But now, as I see the story of OG, how they withstood the team break-up, how they thought through tough opponents, managed to keep it together and win back to back TIs... I have to hand it to them... They are the true kings of DotA. And I also love Ceb... The enbodiment of a true leader.
