And with no other heavy damage dealer cause WR is a single target killer, they can drag out the fight and kite them till they die. Any other pos 2 or pos 3 hero from Liquid, that wouldnt have been effective. Which is probably the part they referring to as the big brain play, cause he read the game perfectly and shut them down
Okay, nobody's gonna mention when Puppey called out Topson for his early glyphs pre TI8? And yet here he's praising Topson. I really want to see Secret.Topson.
and now those early glyphs are now abused, especially by midlaners. Glyph being off cd is a huge resource, and if it is not used, then its just wasted. Especially given that the offlane only manages to threaten the tower around minute 6 onwards
What's terrifying about this play, that I believe just like the Buyback bit from Ana, is that Io(Ana again) hit level 15 right before the highground push as well. It's like planets align and Liquid's pacing goes from 200 to 0. Like popping a balloon almost. Rarely seen in any competitive game.

People really overthink stuffs. Sometimes just simple thinking can be effective like this one, Diffu is good against BB since he is so reliant on mana to be effective. So Topson just go for it. Sure meta item build is the most effective, but sometimes situational item can come in handy as well.
Fun fact: the diffu gyro is really amazing, because flank cannon is physical, it also apply diffu effect, but the more amazing is. IO attack when tether to gyro also has diffu effect.
Flak Cannon does not trigger attack modifiers, except on the main target. The idea of the diffu is that Gyro can burn the target of BB / Omni / ES fast due to his fast attack speed and Overcharge from Io. But the mana burn from diffu does not spread due to all targets from Flak Cannon.
@@xxJinraixx watch the replay in dota2 and not in you tube and you will see. You can also see that IO's attack has mana burn, bring it to 0.75 or 0.5 so you can see clearly
@@mr.bas1ctv780 No it does not. It is still the Gyrocopter's normal attacks that burn the BB/ES mana. Whether you watch it in youtube or Dota2 replay function (which I also double-checked in slow-motion to make sure), the Io normal attacks or Spirits do not burn mana. The movements in BB's mana aside from Gyrocopter's auto attack comes from him using his Nasal Goo, Quill Spray, and use of Magic Wand. Besides, when did Io have any skill or talent that burns mana? Io does not gain the mana burn from Gyrocopter's diffusal even if he's tethered to him, unless he has his own diffusal. You can also see in the fight at the tier 3 top tower in Game 4, just after Topson uses Gyrocopter's Call Down, the Flak Cannon hits Omni and Chen, which does not burn their mana. This is clearly how the skill functions as Flak Cannon does not proc attack modifiers (like Desolator, Maelstrom, Daedalus, Diffusal, Skadi, etc.) except on the main target only.

@@Jebu911when you're talking about diffu, you're talking about purpose. Just because gyro is agi hero, doesn't mean any agi items are considered ok with agi heroes. clearly you just started playing dota like 2 years ago
@@Paksu.Badrulmovic 12 but whos counting. Also i see you are a dota player for being so toxic
@@Jebu911he basically said it himself, they don't need chase because the only ranged hero in liquid is the windrunner, their main damage and clash heroes we're onmi and bb which needs mana. So he build diffu to burn their mana and Ana Io for damage and slow
@@Jebu911 Diffusal isnt highly favored in games because other items are economically better and its a situational item. Also, he's the only natural builder of SE in their lineup. Damage + break wouldve been more obvious build. But Topson said diffu was good cause he can burn BB + Omni's mana, meaning 2 cores gonna have less impact on clash. And with no other heavy damage dealer cause WR is a single target killer, they can drag out the fight and kite them till they die. Any other pos 2 or pos 3 hero from Liquid, that wouldnt have been effective. Which is probably the part they referring to as the big brain play, cause he read the game perfectly and shut them down
dude the quality production in TI before this year is top notch, aesthetically pleasing
I remember Topson being flamed by Puppey LMAO
That :) afterwards. Finnish tilting Puppey.
When ?
@@nguyentienhai785 its on topson stream ,in pub game ,just search puppey being "NICE" to topson
Enjoy retirement Topson. We will continue to enjoy your highlights for a long time.
My man puppey still salty. He called topson FLOPson. Fking legend 😂😂
I wish I could watch this 2 teams again in the next TI! Hope they find their perfect roster!
Hell no, there're a lot more deserving teams compared to Nigma.
Nope, nigma is dead
OG not in TI :(
Gyro diffu makes total sense in hindsight and I love that in the current DPC tour it still gets picked up.
Topson literally adapted fron playing pub to TI he is very good at changing and adapting to different situations in a blink of an eye
Maybe you can replace ana with sumail but nobody can replace jerax man... Topson is not enough, no matter how smart he is.
Topson is a unique player which requires the whole team to understand his gameplay and can capitalize on his risky and overaggresive gameplay. I think so far Jerax is one of the player who truly understand Topson and can sync perfectly to his play, while still keep balance on the overall gameplay of the team. I think if Topson move to other team, he will not be as successful as he is in OG.
@@Kevino0o0o well jerax is the backbone of TI8-TI9 OG. So, technically speaking without him their chances of winning a 3rd TI is pretty low
I agree 100% with this, I'm so sad when Jerax got retired. I mean, I respect His decision... but man.. we do lost a great player
True, jerax rotations made a difference he is always there for topson to assist him when he struggles at lane.
i think when comes to Ti, saksa are very underperformed compared to his previous match before Ti, he looks so clueless when he enter in the Ti arena
Man. Hits different when even your rivals admire you.
"Fucking Topson."
-Mind Control
This video is almost 4 mins, but for me it's like watching it for almost 10 mins. There are so many good clips to replay.
When IO carry Dota 2 Archive 🤣🤣🤣
This just show why OG deserve 2 TI. They had the skill, the brain and the mentality to wrap it up. I think this is the 2nd most clever strat of DotA.
The 1st, of course the 5 carry SEA strat. Not even OG dare to play that.
OMG i almost forgot about that LOL
OG having flashbacks when MVP Pheonix knocked them down to the lower bracket of TI6 with that 5 melee strat kek
The words of Gyro always comes in situations like this
"The sky is the limit!
i think..."
The fact that no one in OG died after that diffusal base defense was epic.
well they have io and abbadon for sustain and tanky heroes
Puppey casually calling Topson as Flopson. Let see after Ti10, does the pup become a dog or still a pup.
Did not aged well bro
And if he wins?
@@samuelbonafe258 how is it not aged well ? Not even final yet lmao.
@@gorillaz9694 he was pointing at Topson, which was already eliminated. They eliminated OG from the upper bracket. And i feel team spirit will won against secret then after so many year PSG LGD will win TI.
@@samuelbonafe258 Dude, this video most likely made before Ti starts. Lo and behold, Secret lost. So Puppey with 10% Ti win percentage vs Topson 67% Ti percentage, and Topson is the one who flop. Lmao.
1:15
His face literally saying: "yep i know its working"
Topson was like
They laugh when I buy Diffu, now laugh at their mana
I like how mc praised topson for the diffu
Love the moment it happened.
Love the video itself.
Absolutely hate this comment section.
idk why but this video was supposed to be complimenting topson but that puppey interview scene makes me wonder if is he complimenting or being sarcastic about it. 😂
@@mr.bas1ctv780 No it does not. No modifiers are applied on Io bonus attacks from the tethered talented target. Flak also doens't proc anything besides auras.
Seriously did Puppey still salty on topson? He called him flopson..lol
And he proceeded to call him smart. Do you even know what salty means? Or does it not have any meaning anymore since everything seems to be "salty"
they had a pub match together and Puppey told Topson to kill himself
its just a friendly banter that's all xd
People thinks puppey genuinly hate topson lmao. These people are idiots. A bunch of whinning redditors and twitter karens who calls a player a trash and hypocrite because trashtalking is automatically a sin in a online fucking game.
Late to realize but, i think when kuro said topson is the master of weird-build, hes trying to become the master of weird draft :""
Topson my idol. I wanted to see him get another Aegis. Through thick and thin I will support OG. 💯
"The International Grand Finals is a strange place to try unorthodox builds."
Me, remembering that Dendi's first game as Enigma is TI Grand Finals: *Yep, it's unorthodox.*
I don’t get why many people hated OG before and questioning their ability to win TI. These 5 players are all monsters of their own kind
LMAO i remember there was a debate about weather the gyro diff was the game changer and many dota 2 pro commenter said it was not the game changer. 😂😂😂
as a liquid fans this is breaking my heart, liquid actually winning
but topson destroy it with his geniuses
They werent winning. They just had a temporary lead until IO hit it's timings.
who is here after topson win against betboom when he pick rubick and buy a maelstrom in riyadmasters 2024?
Fucking Topson
-MC @final TI9
Calling Topson Flopson after he won TI twice while you did only once, clearly shows what kind of person Puppey is.
Go for 3 Topson!
Basic game mindset: counter build👍🔥
Everyone: wtf?
Miracle: I'm fucked
this guy invent the whole "dumb" meta by himself.
-meme hammer invoker
-mid morphling
-diffu gyro
-and if i remember correctly there is a game that he goes radiance on monkey king
getting harsh word by puppey, ridiculed by caster and even labeled as "Flopson and/or Godson", the guy that either being a god in game or a flop in game.
then later, he goes win 2 TI's back to back with an very exiting gameplay.
what a legend.
Since when is mid morphing dumb?
@@adm1ralad1 it was when shotgoun morph getting nerfed.
carry wouldnt play morph and topson is still picking him at mid.
@@schneeraizor7020 Shotgun morph is still strong. You go E Blade and you're in business. You don't play a lot of Morhphling if you think Morph mid is a joke. Morph wants lvl 3, is a pretty good laner and can farm small mid camps without troubles. You just don't play Morphling if you think you can't go mid with it. Morph goes even in all mid matchups but 2 specific counters. Even then, he can rotate back to front and stack jungle camps to make up for the denies.
@@remyboivin5837 im not talking nowadays meta.
im talking about the time that topson abusing mid morphling when everyone doesnt.
basically it was him to regularize mid morph back in the day while everyone still doing ember veil.
OG are also the team who 1st picking tiny for mid or 4th back when everyone think tiny is average.
what im saying is, OG.TOPSON is basically a revolutioner.
@@schneeraizor7020 Regarding Tiny you're so wrong. Tiny was overpowered not because it was broken but because it was a flex pick. It still is. Tiny is my main, always has been. The hero got me to Immortal. What was strong about Tiny was that you could secure mid lane in the worst matchup or fling it as a 4 and only buy Blink and play the positioning game and disruption anti-counter. Mid Morph was played prior to Topson even being on the good players map. Mid Morph is just not seen a lot because most players are trash. Mid Morph requires an extensive understanding of the game. Morph as a whole is really hard to pilot. You need to know the kits of each hero and how to play them on the fly.
Bristleback was the jenga brick to crumple the tower. He relies on every lick of mana so someone like Gyro draining him of his mana means that Secret was completely down their main frontliner. Even with Guardian Angel the BB still gets his mana burned and is completely useless, allowing the rest of OG to clean up the others and wreak havoc now that it’s a 5v4 and one turtle without any offensive power.
Genius plays. We always forget to adapt and overcome and try something different when risk is what makes Dota, Dota.
*Liquid, not Secret
ana so strong in this game bro
2 years later, Topson still setting meta builds
even nigma players are impressed by that build 😁

gyro is so interesting, you can build him diffu or pick him instead of banning because of missclick...
I once bought Diffu on my Windranger, it ended up being a good choice and it won me the game. It was also against a Bristleback, mind you.
Where's my Dota archive? ☹️
