I'm seeing a load of questions from you guys about the links going to the CFMOTO website and not being able to order the parts I installed in this video. I reached out to my CFMOTO contact and they said that to order these parts you'll need to contact your local CFMOTO dealer. Luckily, there is a search feature on their site to find the closest dealer to you! That would be my suggestion because these parts seem like the way to go!
The pillion seat can be replaced with a carbon fiber cover no need to replace the whole rear section.
I was planning to watch with either thumb nail. Saw it earlier and made a mental note to watch later when I had time. I’m really interested in this content.
OC: My pick would be the seat. A lil taller seat will give a more comfortable ride especially if you're over 6' tall.
OC: The seat cowl. Just for the directions alone. Stickers should be an option.
You can just put a carbon fiber cover where cowl seat is only 59.00. You do not need to replace whole cowl.

@Chaseontwowheels there is a carbon fiber cover you can just swap out cowl seat with. Without the need to replace whole cowel.
Chase, where did you order these parts from exactly ?? I have a 2020 650GT but can't see any genuine accessories or mods only a few aftermarket bits online
Oc loving the mods I think my favorite is the higher seat because I’m 6 ft 2 270 and comfort is nothing I like to skip on
OC. I just got a 450SS and did like 300 in a day. Definitely need that seat.
When you have time, could you show how to use a triple tree lift stand on the 450..

There's a plastic shield covering the bottom of the triple tree..
Do you think all of these would be accessible for a 450nk as well?
One issue with the cowel how do you now mount straps for a tail bag?

How were you able to order from CFMoto’s website? The links take you to the product page, but has no order option. And when I emailed their customer service department, they told me I can’t order directly from their website?

can someone help me! i have the 2024 version of this bike and i took a fall and the bike slid 15ft damaging the wing and part of the fairing, how can i get replacement parts? im having a hard time finding them online

Are 450 sr parts interchangeable with the 450ss? There are windshield upgrades the SR has that i want

Only thing that kind of sucks is that the seat cowl is all one single piece meaning you loose the storage on the back to have a single piece instead of getting a hard cover seat cowl like most bikes and taking apart the main seat to be able to remove the single piece seat cowl seems like pain in the butt but it looks nice though

hard choice between this and the new kawasaki ninja 500 SE. but at the same time kawasaki still sounds like arse with their 180 degree crank
@@rzt430 I got to check out the N500 at COTA last month and I’m still happy I got the 450ss. The N500 feels outdated lacking a TFT display and subjectively I think the CF MOTO looks better. Compare the insurance rates between the two and see if that influences you at all.
@@MotoGosu the 500 SE has a TFT display, but its costs like $700 more bringing the msrp up to $6400, and the color scheme is just... ugly in my honest opinion. not to mention it still sounds worse since they kept the 180 crank lawnmower sound. meanwhile the cfmoto looks way more sleek. i wish yamaha would make a modern 450 but not holding my breath for that lol. so yeah definitely still leaning towards 450ss, the only real con is you have to plan around aftermarket availability and delivery times for parts
Do the tank stickers come off or were they clear coated on?
To get all these accessories from cfmoto do you have to contact a nearby dealer to get the accessories? Because on the website there is no option to check out?
Yes seat, radiator guard, axle slides, lever guards, windshield, rear sets all avaiable through the dealer.

Where did you order from? I’ve gone to CFMoto’s US website and it just list products/prices but no ability to purchase.
So once you put a cowl, the passenger option is gone?
OC: Only thing bugs me about the seat cowl on this bike is you lose access to any sort of rear seat storage option.
There really is no storage room. Fuse block is back there, plus ECU. You loose accessability if you blow a fuse or relay.
I have always wanted the crowl but if any work needs to be done back there gotta take that apart so I got a quick release.
I bought all of mine off of AliExpress which is known on there as a 450sr and they got a lot of stuff but awesome stuff
They make a cowel that just swaps out only pillion seat made of carbon fiber. 59.00 Ali express

@@KristophDawgmoto if you buy seat for the 450NK same unbranded upgraded seat dealer sells for $149.00. I just didn't have an account set up. But going to get sliders, 450SS 450SS brake reservoir cap black with red accents, frame hole plugs.

I wouldn't have done cowel. Leaves no access to fuses. There is a company that makes a cowel that goes in place of pillion seat 56.00 made of carbon fiber. Uses same key to remove.

Nothing crazy. Just been slammed with projects. I honestly miss riding it and need to plan for a video on it soon.

I mean Ive put thousands of miles on my 800 Ibex and its running like a freaking champ. I'll continue to ride the hell out of it but not sure how else I could test it haha.

Sorry... Im all about the Hat, the wide blue Hat... lol...😅 Still the looks of that machine really do improve, more racy feel.
So in order to buy a mod you need to buy the bike. Might I sugguest retitle on video! I would have not of done the rear cowel. That is by far dumbest mod leaves no access to wiring also takes away option to install a tail bag for trips. My nelson rigg tail bag straps are secured around frame under pillion seat.

I can't decide between this and the ninja "500"
Better off getting a Ninja 400 over the Ninja 450/"500". Between the Ninja 400 and CFMoto 450SS it be a toss up. The 450SS does have features the Ninja 400 can't match though. Still the Ninja 400 is the GOAT for low CC bikes.
