This was the first time I was kind of in on the twist. I heard the detective tell Hoffman about the Dr. missing. I thought I recognized the animal he was holding and was really suspect when he told Perez he had a daughter. Then when he got “ kidnapped” I knew he wasn’t because they never showed it. I recognized the Manila envelope for Amanda too. I was so happy with myself at the end when Strahm found the pictures. The end was still so satisfying but I loved that I finally figured out something. Sorry just had to pat myself on the back 😂. I love your videos!!!!!!
I recently rewatched the entire series in reverse order (8-1) and tbh I really think it works just as well that way, there's so many concurrent scenes and loads of callbacks that it's all self-referential enough to still make sense

If you REALLLLYY would like to know why I don't like it, in non-hyperbolic, legitimate detail, ill take the time to write it out for you. But I loath this movie.(Yes, I'm a Saw Stan. I-VI. I guess I like it because I'm just a big fan of Hoffman's story and it was cool seeing him almost like a slasher villain. It's definitely nowhere near my favourite though. For me it was always very reminiscent of Resident Evil 3 taking place around the time of Resident Evil 2. Much fun to its later sequel when they introduce Umbrella Health to its universe.

Watch Amanda's reverse bear trap scene again. She was told that she only had 60 seconds to complete the game, yet she immediately wasted 45 seconds freaking out and staring at her ex-cellmate. You're telling me she had 15 seconds left to find a key buried in his small intestines AND open the lock she couldn't see behind her head with slippery hands while also under pressure? Time was an illusion for her.
The only issue with saw 3 & 4 taking place during April is that during the autopsy scene in saw 4, the toe tag hanging from John’s body says October 21st, 2006.

I don't know why, but Jigsaw is the only "villain" I've ever emphasized with. He's definitely wrong and flawed, but he kind of makes sense. You can see what made him the way he is.
I never understood why Amanda shot Lynn at the end of Saw III. If John told her where to find the envelope in his desk, which was a blackmail letter written to her by Hoffman threatening to expose her involvement in Gideon's death, you'd think she'd put it together that he knows what the letter contains as well. That never quite held up for me. You think the mastermind behind all this has no idea what that piece of paper says?

I don't know why, but Jigsaw is the only "villain" I've ever emphasized with. He's definitely wrong and flawed, but he kind of makes sense. You can see what made him the way he is.

I never understood why Amanda shot Lynn at the end of Saw III. If John told her where to find the envelope in his desk, which was a blackmail letter written to her by Hoffman threatening to expose her involvement in Gideon's death, you'd think she'd put it together that he knows what the letter contains as well. That never quite held up for me. You think the mastermind behind all this has no idea what that piece of paper says?
I was thinking the note was meant to say something else instead of the blackmail
