I had the Stanmore 2, and upgraded to the Woburn 2. I also got my gf the Emberton for Christmas last year. I love all the Marshall products and can seriously jam out with my Woburn, but every time I hear the Emberton, I'm always left impressed. It's so small and sounds so good!
I also have a couple Bose speakers and 2 JBL partybox 100s. I think they all have their strengths but when it comes to sitting down and enjoying music, I reach for my Marshall! 🤟

I have the emberton. I use it for my weight room and it’s great but I’m looking for a speaker that will be good at parties out door or indoor with a large crowd that can stand at a distance. The emberton would definetly not cut it for that. Once I leave my weight room the sound fades quickly on max volume. But in the room infront of the lil SOB it sounds loud and great!

Just to balance out the Bose cult. I have a Bose S1Pro and, frankly, it's so-so. I think a lot of Bose buyers are the sort of people who have a bit of money, have never really bought much hi-fi or PA gear in the past, and have previously only really heard of mainstream brand names like Sony. They decide they want a thing and go "ok what's the most expensive headphones/speaker/whatever that I can buy from page 1 of my Google search? That must be the best thing available." They end up with some Bose kit which to them is _obviously_ better than everything else because A) it was expensive and B) they never heard of the brand before they bought it.
Incidentally I just bought a Tufton because my S1Pro is too big for carry-on luggage for an upcoming holiday flight. It'll be interesting to compare the two once the Tufton arrives. The purpose of owning the S1Pro is basically for parties/garden use, and the Tufton is for the same. No hi-fi pretentions, just something to bang out party tunes with a long lasting battery, which seems to be exactly what the Tufton is aimed at.
