Also with the Ares medalion you can two shot bodyshot kill with a gold Sniper, doesn't happen too often but can help to know.
They should change the Hades medallion to give 25 HP on knocks and 25 HP on full elim and stay the same in solos

I have been winning much more games since I've started watching this channel! I just heard Toby say this (win more game by watching and learning) and my gut reaction thought was oh that's just his marketing tactic, along with the sensational thumbnail claiming we'll never lose again lol But then it dawned on me ... he's not wrong, I have been winning a lot more and even guiding my squad to victories, to a point I feel like my squad look up to me and respect my decisions, like I've been made squad leader without discussing it because I'm often the one asked what I think our next move should be. This channel is awesome, I can tell you mix your professional talent along with your caring personality to produce great content that is true to you. Thanks man. As always good advice that really helps out with a game plan. Thanks again for dropping all the knowledge, for beginners like me. Definitely had to check my display settings a few times, but seems like the video has a lot of screen tearing. Did you change any settings on your recording lately? Either way looking forward to the next stream man, GG's as always.
It's been years I haven't played Fortnite and to be honnest this game has evolved in interesting ways, I came back to check it out and I was blown away with how fun it is, since I have no idea what I'm doing this season I had to check out your videos, and this one sums it up real nice, I have a lot to learn or relearn!

dude always land at ares trust me it basically increases rarity on mythic weapons so on top of getting ares's gun you also increase rarity for legendary to mythic so its real op

You dont have to sprint jump with shockwaves. You said sprint jumping and normal jumping sends you the same distance. The speed boost only affects your jump when sprinting.
I find it easier to play builds now lol with all your tips over these past months
I seem to hit more shots with a Huntress with a 4x scope than I do with the sniper, even at longer ranges. However, to be honest, since I started watching your channel, I have improved A TON. My other half has been playing for years, and she's been impressed at how much I've improved since I started playing in January.

This is literally my first season of fortnite and I already hit Diamond just tonight in no build with almost no issues due to your videos. This might be not standard but if someone has a more aggressive style as me what I like to run for my 3 weapons is either hades chains as the shotgund slot or Frency/Gate, and then the full auto smg or pistol and then either dmr or sniper.
This might sound weird since 2 have somewhat the same job but its excellent to bait or push when they dont see your flank, you can either hit them with 2-3 pistol shots or like half a smg mag and then you switch to your shotty and it literally most of the time just takes one shot max 2 to kill them. Ive even beaten unreals with it to my surprise. Snipers are always great cause a lot of people have a tendency to push but once you hit them with your sniper or dmg for over 100 they will back up fast which gives you the time to either use yoru pistol or smg to finish them, otherwise you use your mobility and use the shotgun.
I know Im just new to the game but Ive had alot of shooter experience and the fact I won multiple fights versus unreals it started making me feel that AR's except nemesis are overated, unless its mythic ofcourse.
All in all, pretty much just through your video I ranked myself up in one swoop without ever gotten stuck somewhere. I wonder if I can hit Elite or unreal in my first season.
Also I sooooo hope they will add more serious and bigger tournaments for no build.
Building is what bored me when I played for just a tiny bit at the start, it was fun at first but fights got repetitive, I really love the parkour and positioning in no build and it made me fall in love with FN out of nowhere.
So thank you man, all I need is to find a duo to teach me some more and do cash cups with. I owe ow you essentially 80% of my progress

Idk if it's a glitch or if I'm the only one experiencing this, but when I mod the sniper and the gatekeeper with a drum mag, I still only get 3 shots before I auto reload.
After you mod it, reload it. Then ur good

Nope. That's the first thing I do is reload all weapons after I mod.
@@piggylamb9312the drum mag needs some extra time so make sure you really reload it to the end
Even if my shotgun already has a drum mag and I add a lasor when I leave the workbench I have to reload. If you drop the gun and pick it back up the same thing happens. It defaults to the normal full mag. It's a pain but just try to remember to reload right after.
I have reticle ammo turned on so I can see it on my screen.

how do you know which area has less players?
I was avoiding the gatekeeper, until I was in a bunker, no other shotgun. I attached the drum mag, and suddenly someone pushes me. I used the glitch to shoot around the corner and dannnng, that glitch saved me! Still prefer auto though.

the creator code gets automatically removed by epic after a couple weeks, yes. i personally double check it's still there every time i get something, only takes a second

Also note that when you use the Zeus medallion ability, you don't take fall damage. Sprint and jump and fall damage is basically nonexistent. It's why I love it.
What is the reason you recommend a shotgun in slot 2 between sniper and AR?
It's just how I do my loadout, but I'm on a keypad. My sniper/ long range is 1st slot, shotgun is always 2nd and AR or SMG is always 3rd.
@@TobyWanShinobi Gotcha. I’m on controller. I do sniper > AR > shotgun for the long range > mid > close transitions. I see lots of others run it in the same order as you but I struggle if my shotgun is between them. Sometimes I put my mobility item between AR and shotgun

I have feel for the dropped medallion a couple times. They’re so shiny
You know when they added Syphon in chapter 1, I hated it because to be honest I was a bad player so 3rd party on a fight wouldn’t work. However since a major change in my play style and being an aggressive player now (Thanks to Toby and other Shinobi members) I’m now dead immediately after winning a fight to a 3rd party. Bring back reasonable syphon please.
Rant over lol. Great flight advice Toby, stay low when flying and don’t be that sole target in a clear blue sky. And if you have the hades effect, you can dash while powering up the Lightning bolt making yourself a harder target to track.
I typically go hades and then Cerberus or hunt down whoever killed Cerberus after hades. It’s fun. I do go Ares quite a bit but generally skip Zeus.

The reason the Area medallion is the worst is because he drops the best gun in the game.. and it’s not even close that mythic warforged AR is good in ANY situation. Close, medium & long range it dominates
How does that have anything to do with the medallion? That also just makes it better.
I actually think the Gate Keeper might not be glitched ..... Look at the name gate keeper lol... ya can definetly gate keep players with it
Also the ares medallion is way better then you think.... really great to give you the edge in shotgun fights especially if ya run a gate keeper.... also busted if ya running a frenzy auto.... i would drop zeus medallion personally

I think the spawn rate of shockwaves got buffed because every match I have at least 6 shockwaves

Avoid the thermal scope... too much screen shake. Try the 1.3 holo
Warforged w suppressor, RED DOT, DRUM MAG, and foregrip is INSANE ACCURANCY.
I feel like the suppressor helps a lot. Maybe because it doesn't have as much muzzle flash it's easier to see people and track them.
Do you not lose benefit with how bad the recoil is by not having the muzzle?
@@Cpchurch87 you should try it (at least the suppressor) I feel like if helps a lot for some reason.
@@ericgonser1544 I’ll give it a go tonight! I do love having a suppressor on, as I think it gives the gun a nice sound, but was always worried about losing the recoil

Yeah they did. Just grab clingers, a zeus thunderbolt or porta bunkers to break them quick now.

That's where it gets rough... I usually drop heals and pray that enemies I eliminate will have heals or I keep an eye out for nearby heals.

Hey man, loved the video, great advice and gameplay, very helpful. One thing that bothered me...Ares. Its pronounced Air-Ez, not our-Ez. Dunno if you were meming or just had a moment or if other people already mentioned it, but please, for my mental health, pronounce it the proper way? Lol
Is Ares medallion only for long ranged? I think it affects all guns, I mean nothing insane still, but still it does make a difference.
It affects all guns. It basically makes the gun one rarity higher or one rarity higher plus one.
I don't know why the description says ranged weapons because it works on shotguns as well.
@@ericgonser1544 Well shotguns are also ranged weapons, like they aren't melee. Just people seem to think that "ranged" is the same as "long ranged" and well it clearly ain't.
And yeah the one rarity higher is a decent estimation, but it's certainly not to the number. So it's around 1 rarity higher but not exactly.

All advises aside.... I do not know how all these pro RUclipsrs have always ZERO recoil on autoshoot with rifles... No matter rare or mith rifle... they shoot as if they have zero shake... When I try to do this (ok I`m not a pro but still) my crosshair shakes like crazy either with gry or mith rifle.... I wonder.... I wonder... Last evening I watched a video on how most pro players even championship players actually use cheats.... could this be the case?!?!?! I wonder I wonder.... When ever I go on a zerobuild ranked match I get killed at mid game with not more than 2 3 shots from an enemie... In this video the fight at the underworld where he chased the guy with a shotgun.... this kind of fights do not exist... in my games the enemies just come at you paw paw and you are dead. 100 HP 150 shield ... Either these scenes are made while playing against some silly bots/kids that do not know anything when it comes to playing the game, or.... there is something else :) I wonder I wonder.....
Watch any of my live streams and you will quickly understand that I am not cheating - I use a handcam as well. To control recoil you have to pull down slowly - which you can see my hand do. Or pull down really fast and snap back up for Zero recoil (seen in my AR secrets video). Muzzle break also helps with horizontal recoil and vertical quite a bit.
A lot of players think people are cheating but the truth is most of the cheating is done in upper ranks / tournaments. They don't know the difference between a great player and a cheater. If you think I am cheating, then you definitely don't know what real cheating looks like. I have done over 200 hours of aim training in Kovaaks, but still my aim isn't even that crazy compared to some.
@@TobyWanShinobi Not saying you do ... I just wonder, you are not the only RUclipsr that makes these kinds of vids... and for you all to be at this level of handling the game is just... I`m telling you... if you play with me in EU servers in ranked ... you will not have these kinds of situations where you are free to run around or away from enemies fire... I do use similar tactics as you and do not survive to tell the tale.... Players in my lobbies just kill you instantly or with second shot... I do play a lot of aim training as well and I do use tricks to minimes spread and recoil but it`s not the same as yours or any of the RUclipsrs that show clips online... either at hip fire or aim down weapons have mush more spread/recoil than on your vids. Furthermore for almost all weapons the end point of recoils so I from time to time use it as an advantage when autoshoot start low aim and the recoils stops at head level but still spread is a huge thing ... and RUclipsrs do not have spread on aurofire. that is just my humble opinion....

That’s true getting into more fights will increase your skill that’s no cap. A few seasons ago I wouldn’t even attempt to play ranked but now I’m platinum 1 working on my next rank. What he said: as a sniper use a sniper.
Assault rifle: use the sniper has alot of mags and can down quickly
Shotgun: use a reaper with a red dot as it it a one shot shot gun most times.
Heals: use a reaper, as no one can can touch you.
Step 1: have a nice console/pc, minus 60fps vs. 120 or 240 fps, not good.
Step 2: have a nice ping. 90/120+ ping + packet loss against -30 to 0 ping, not good.
Step 3: check your tv/monitor. If it's too big or can't even show real 60 fps, may the gods help you
Step 4: if you have an actual headset, you're set.
Step 5: git gud.
Step 6: follow these tips, they are great, he is a great teacher.
Alternate step: if you only have kind of 5, and follow 6, good luck, luck is going to be a huge factor for you. So good luck.
Not trying to be pessimistic here, maybe the contrary: if you play on potato situations, you are not crazy, it feels impossible to win most of the time. It's probably not you. You don't even know your real potential. So keep fighting the good fight.
Or just.. get better.
None of this matters when the game is infested with PC players using DMA cheats 😂
