The reason a lot of the Risk of Rain songs tend to keep "peaking" is because the pace of each game stage keeps getting progressively harder and harder the longer you play!
Chris is fricken AMAZING. Really knows how to create sounds/songs for specific atmospheres
It’s crazy to me that you have barely scratched the surface of Chris Christoudoulou because I can think of at least 20 songs across Risk of Rain series and Deadbolt that I love and would love to see reactions of. Coalescence (2023), Dies Irae, Once in a Lullaby, The Proverbial Dust Biters are some off the top of my head!

The way everything sits so far back on the beat here is so neat. This song has such a push and pull to it throughout that just enthralls.

Chris Christadoulou is one of my favorite game ost composers of all time. Just by himself he makes wonders and altough I reallly like tera pluviam I think Con letitut Pederosa is way better and you should deffinetly check it out.

The way Chris keeps these songs constantly building as you described works so well for the game as the levels becomes progressively more difficult the more time passes.
I’d love to see your reaction to the Risk of Rain 2 song Into the Doldrums if you ever get to that one, as it’s probably my favourite track on the whole album.
I love this track. You start out on the ground banging some kind of steel drums and by the end you're in outer space.

i was really expecting that little filler melody to be at the end kinda disappointed it wasnt but still a very good piece of music
I know this doesn't pertain to this video, but it would make my year if you listened to Stella by Kashiwa Daisuke. It's a 36 minute song and its one of the most complex and beautiful songs I've ever heard and it tells a story in your mind throughout the entire piece.
